万双网讯  历时2年的紧张筹备，9月7号下午，万科双语学校游泳馆终于以崭新的面貌惊艳亮相。以“乘风破浪，勇往直前”为主题的VBS游泳馆启用仪式在这里温馨举行。

VBS News Net: After two years of preparation, VBS Indoor Swimming Centre was put in use on 7th September. A special launch ceremony - brave the winds and waves to swim with courage was held.

参与本次仪式的特邀嘉宾包括：梅沙教育公司总经理窦连辉先生，梅沙教育事业部陈强先生、吴仕梅女士及其他教育公司同事，广东省象棋协会副秘书长、朋悦国际象棋俱乐部董事长荆梽罡先生。万科双语学校杨帆校长、郑世英校长助理、林红英校长助理以及部分教师代表和各班学生代表参与了本次启用仪式，仪式同时面向全校学生、家长全程直播。

Special guests included Mr. Dou Lianhui, GM of Meisha Education Company, Mr. Chen Qiang, Ms. Wu Shimei from Meisha Education Business Unit ,other colleagues from Meisha Education Company, and Mr. Jing Zhigang, Director of Friend Happy Chess Club and Deputy Secretary of Guangdong Chinese Chess Association. Principal Yang, Assistant Principal Ms. Zheng and Ms. Lin as well as teachers and students representatives were at the venue. The ceremony was also broadcast online to parents and all students.

梅沙教育公司总经理窦连辉先生在致辞中说道，游泳馆的启用有两个意义：一是万科梅沙教育建设万科双语学校的初心不变，将全力将学校建设成为龙华区乃至深圳市最高档次的民办双语学校；二是公司支持学校完整的课程体系建设的初心不变，将继续为学校提供更好的硬件和软件设施。他说，人生有两件事情很重要：一是丰富灵魂，二是强健体魄，号召全校同学投入到体育锻炼中，在运动中获得快乐，并祝愿万科双语学校越办越好。

Mr. Dou gave an address, 'The launch of swimming centre has its significance. Meisha Education's original intention on VBS remains the same - one, to make VBS the best private bilingual school within the district and the best in Shenzhen. The second is that the Meisha Education's support on completing the school curriculum, providing best hardware and software. Two things are important in life - exercising bodies and enriching souls. I call for everyone's participation in sports exercise and gain joy from it. Last but not least, I wish VBS for its future prosperity.'

万科双语学校杨帆校长表示，“两年来，我们一直致力于为学生成长创造最好的条件，这座校园一直在生长。学习游泳，不仅是让万双的同学再具备一项新技能，更是希望同学们通过学习游泳，学会克服困难，锻炼坚毅品质。这是我们开展所有运动项目的宗旨。就像七年级的马皓哲同学在新生欢迎礼上说的，我有梦想，但我也知道要实现梦想要克服很多困难。亲爱的万双未来少年们，你们有梦，学校与你们一起让梦想闪闪发光！”同时，杨校长对参与万双建校的梅沙教育公司同仁表示了衷心的感谢。孩子们为各位建设者献上了鲜花。

Principal Yang said in her speech, 'We have been creating the best condition for students to grow in the past two years - the campus is thriving. Learn swimming is not just about acquiring a new skill but to overcome difficulty and stay gritty. This is always the principle that we promote sports in school. Just like what Ma Haozhe from Grade 7 has said in enrolment ceremony - overcoming difficulty is needed to realise dreams. Dear students, you have dreams, the school will do its part to make them shine.' Principal Yang also acknowledged the effort made by colleagues from Meisha Education Company. Students also presented flowers to them.

Mr. Dou and Principal Yang together inaugurated the indoor swimming centre.

游泳馆也有自己的logo，它由万小双和学校吉祥物海豚共同组成，寓意着乘风破浪，勇往直前。

VBS Swimming Centre had a logo too - VBS mascot dolphin and a miniature VBS student to mean brave the winds and waves to move forward.

在本次启用仪式上，特邀嘉宾全国游泳冠军尤美宏老师、万科双语学校张晨老师（曾荣获42届世界运动会男子200米仰泳冠军）进行了精彩的泳姿表演，标准的蛙泳、自由泳、仰泳、蝶泳姿态令观众们赞叹不已。学校专业游泳救生团队为大家展示了现场救生技能。

Natioal swimming champion Ms. You Meihong and Mr. Zhang Chen (Men's 200m Backstroke champion in the 42th the World Games) had a demo - standard breastroke, butterfly, freestyle and backstroke impressed the audience. Lifeguards also performed rescues.

由九年级蒲子熙、姜凯文、沈尧政组成的学生游泳队伍与张晨老师现场展开了一场激烈的友谊赛。

Shen Yaozheng, Jiang Kaiwen and Pu Zixi from Grade 9 had a friendly with Mr. Zhang.

“运动是一切生命的源泉。” 万科双语学校游泳馆拥有25米8泳道的恒温游泳池，游泳为学校必修课，由世界冠军张晨老师执教，为每一位孩子提供学习机会。学校以最专业化的教学、最高规格的陪伴给予孩子们具有生活价值的教育，让每一位孩子的生命因运动而快乐，因健康而精彩！

Life is all about sports.VBS Indoor Swimming Centre has the 25-meter  constant temperature swimming pool with 8 lanes . Having the compulsory swimming class taught by world champion Mr. zhang, every student has their chance to learn swimming. VBS will provide life-enriching education with professional teaching and the most caring companion for students so that they will gain joy and health from sports.
