万双网讯  近日，万科双语学校学子在“山海画卷·笔绘古墟”写生大赛、“国家发展和国家安全”主题演说、第五届鲲鹏青少年科幻文学奖三项赛事中捷报频传，横跨艺术、演说、文学三大领域，用实力交出了一份亮眼的成绩单。

Recently, Vanke Bilingual School students have achieved remarkable success in three major competitions spanning art, speech, and literature.  These were the "Mountain and Sea Scrolls · Painting the Ancient Marketplace" Sketching Competition, the "National Development and National Security" Thematic Speech Contest, and the 5th Kunpeng Youth Science Fiction Literature Award. Their outstanding performances have delivered impressive results across all three fields.

With Brushes in Hand: Showcasing Campus Beauty

2026年5月6日，由深圳市龙华区教育科学研究院举办的“山海画卷·笔绘古墟”2026年龙华区中小学师生现场写生大赛结果揭晓。万科双语学校学子在比赛中脱颖而出——6V班袁乐轩凭借作品《校园一隅，水彩清梦》荣获小学组一等奖，6V班张祉宸凭借作品《校园夜景全景写真图》荣获小学组三等奖。

On May 6th, 2026, the results of the 2026 Longhua District Primary and Secondary School On-Site Sketching Competition, organized by the Longhua District Academy of Educational Sciences, were announced. Vanke Bilingual School students stood out prominently: Yuan Lexuan from Class 6V won First Prize in the Primary School Division with her work ‘A Corner of Campus, A Watercolor Dream’, while Zhang Zhichen from Class 6V won Third Prize with his work: ‘A Panoramic Night View of the Campus’.

袁乐轩分享道，她选择用航拍全景图的角度来描绘校园，是因为这样既能展示学校的标志性logo，又能全面呈现校园的美好风光。她在创作中大量运用水彩湿画法，先刷水再上色，呈现出梦幻的晕染效果。学校建筑部分使用了蓝、紫、粉等鲜艳色彩，营造出如梦境般的氛围，正如她所说：“就像我们每天愉快的校园生活。”乐轩希望这幅《水彩清梦，校园一隅》能让观者感受到校园的青春与活力。

Yuan Lexuan shared that she chose to depict the campus from an aerial perspective because it allowed her to showcase both the school's iconic logo and the full beauty of its surroundings. She made extensive use of wet-on-wet watercolor techniques, applying water before color to create a dreamy, diffused effect. The school buildings were painted in vibrant hues of blue, purple, and pink, evoking an ethereal atmosphere that is just like our happy daily campus life. Lexuan hopes that her painting, ‘A Watercolor Dream, A Corner of Campus’, conveys the energy and vitality of school life.

张祉宸则选择了更具挑战性的夜景航拍俯视图。他用最简单的2B铅笔和黑色中性笔完成了整幅作品，坚信“画材虽然简单，但可以让它们用起来不简单”。创作过程中虽遇到困难，但他一一克服，并感慨道：“人只要实力硬了，一切困难都可以犹如平地。”这份自信与从容，正是万双学子在艺术探索中不断成长的缩影。

Zhang Zhichen, on the other hand, chose the more challenging perspective of a nighttime aerial view. He completed the entire work using only the simplest 2B pencil and a black pen, firmly believing that "simple art supplies can be made extraordinary." Though he encountered difficulties along the way, he overcame them one by one, reflecting afterwards: "As long as you have real skill, every challenge can be made as easy as walking on flat ground." This confidence and composure perfectly embody the growth of VBS students in their artistic explorations.

抒胸臆，言家国担当

Expressing Inner Thoughts and Speaking on National Commitment

2026年5月11日，由中共深圳市龙华区委教育工作委员会举办的2026年“国家发展和国家安全”主题演说活动结果揭晓。万科双语学校五位同学斩获佳绩：4D班江欣洋荣获小学低年级组三等奖，6O班宋陈萱洛、6E班周庭竺分别荣获小学高年级组三等奖和优秀奖，8I班王者也、7G班时良玉分别荣获初中组三等奖和优秀奖。

On May 11th, 2026, the results of the 2026 "National Development and National Security" Thematic Speech Competition, organized by the Party Working Committee of the Longhua District Education Bureau, were announced. Five Vanke Bilingual School students achieved outstanding results: Jiang Xinyang from Class 4D won Third Prize in the Lower Primary Division; Song Chenxuanluo from Class 6O and Zhou Tingzhu from Class 6E won Third Prize and Honorable Mention, respectively, for the Upper Primary Division; Wang Zheye from Class 8I and Shi Liangyu from Class 7G won Third Prize and Honorable Mention, respectively, in the Middle School Division.

演讲中，王者也提出要以发展为翼、以安全为盾，从身边小事做起做国家安全的守护者；周庭竺指出国家安全如同“隐形铠甲”，发展与安全相辅相成、缺一不可；时良玉从“两弹一星”元勋的笔记本讲起，呼吁传承热爱祖国、艰苦奋斗的精神；江欣洋从妈妈拒绝软件读取通讯录的小事切入，发现国家安全就在身边；宋陈萱洛结合深圳从渔村到国际枢纽的蝶变，强调少年要做国家安全的守护者。

In his speech, Wang Zheye proposed using development as wings and security as a shield, advocating for the safeguarding of national security through everyday actions. Zhou Tingzhu noted that national security is like an "invisible armor," where development and security are indispensable and mutually reinforced. Shi Liangyu began with the notebook of a pioneer of China's "Two Bombs and One Satellite" program, calling for the carrying on the spirit of loving the motherland and persevering through hard work. Jiang Xinyang started with a small incident — her mother refusing an app’s access to her contacts — realizing that national security is all around us. Song Chenxuanluo, drawing on Shenzhen's transformation from a fishing village to an international hub, emphasized that young people must stand as guardians for national security.

五位同学的演讲，既有对历史的深情回望，也有对当下的清醒认知，更有对未来的青春承诺，这正是万科双语学校育人理念的生动体现——培养身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越，具有家国情怀和国际视野，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民。

The speeches of these five students reflect both a deep look back at history and a clear understanding of the present, along with a youthful promise for the future. This is a vivid manifestation of VBS's educational philosophy: to cultivate Chinese citizens who are physically healthy, morally sound, academically excellent, and endowed with a sense of national commitment and global vision, daring to create a better future.

Unleashing Imagination: Creating a Sci-Fi Future

在文学创作领域，万双学子同样展现出非凡的想象力与思辨力。近日，第五届鲲鹏青少年科幻文学奖圆满落幕，作为国内首个专门面向25岁以下青少年的科幻文学奖项，该赛事自2021年创立以来，已成长为极具影响力的青少年科幻品牌。我校三名学生的作品成功入围，分别是8I班周珏晴的《卡牌纪元·重启序列》、8G班李昕雨的《彼岸花与永夜哨兵》、8G班简易的《重启计划》。

In the field of literary creation, VBS students have also demonstrated extraordinary imagination and critical thinking. Recently, the 5th Kunpeng Youth Science Fiction Literature Award came to a close. As China's first science fiction literary award exclusively for individuals under 25, it has grown into a highly influential sci-fi brand for youth since its establishment in 2021. Three VBS students' works were shortlisted: Zhou Jueqing from Class 8I with ‘The Card Era · Restart Sequence’, Li Xinyu from Class 8G with ‘The Other Shore Flower and the Eternal Sentinel’, and Jian Yi from Class 8G with ‘Restart Project’.

简易分享道，《重启计划》的故事设定在马里亚纳海沟——人类发现宇宙竟是高等文明的“培养皿”，每10万年的太阳风暴将重启所有生命，而人类只剩500年。主角试图用太阳能板吸收风暴，却因人性贪婪导致地球提前破碎。简易希望通过这个故事表达：人类最大的敌人往往不是灾难，而是内心的贪婪与自私；科技再强大，如果不团结、不向善，一切都可能白费。得知入围后，他激动之余也清醒地认识到自己在情节和科学细节上还需继续打磨，并表示会坚持写科幻，让故事既有想象又有深度。

Jian Yi shared that ‘Restart Project’ is set in the Mariana Trench, where humanity discovers that the universe is actually a "petri dish" for a higher civilization — with a solar storm occurring every 100,000 years that would restart all life, leaving humanity only 500 more years. The protagonist attempts to harness the storm with solar panels, but human greed causes the Earth to shatter prematurely. Through this story, Jian Yi hopes to express that humanity's greatest enemy is often not disaster itself, but inner greed and selfishness. No matter how advanced technology becomes, without unity and goodness, everything could be in vain. Upon learning of his shortlisting, he felt both excitement and a clear awareness of where his story and scientific details still need refinement. He affirmed his commitment to writing science fiction, aiming to create stories that are both imaginative and profound.

周珏晴的作品《卡牌纪元·重启序列》则融合了科幻与奇幻元素。故事围绕被“副本系统”入侵的现实世界展开，主角陆墨在破解父亲留下的神秘“空白卡”后，逐渐揭开“灵纹科技”CEO萧远山操控副本、企图打开“真理之门”的阴谋。周珏晴希望通过这个故事探讨：科技本身没有善恶，但人心可以决定一切；真正的力量不是毁灭，而是在绝境中依然选择守护人与人的情感与信任。她表示，能入围让她倍感欣喜，也更坚定了继续创作的信心，未来，她表示将继续打磨故事，同时多读硬科幻经典，让设定更严谨、角色更生动。

Zhou Jueqing's work, ‘The Card Era · Restart Sequence’, blends science fiction and fantasy elements. The story unfolds in a reality invaded by a "dungeon system," following the protagonist Lu Mo as she gradually uncovers the conspiracy of Xiao Yuanshan, the CEO of Spirit Pattern Technology, who manipulates the dungeons and attempts to open the "Door of Truth." Zhou Jueqing hopes to explore the idea that technology itself has no morality, but human intentions can determine everything — and that true power lies not in destruction, but in choosing to protect human connection and trust even in the face of despair. Shortlisting, she said, brought her immense joy and strengthened her resolve to continue writing. Moving forward, she plans to refine her story while reading more classical science fiction to make her settings more rigorous and her characters more vivid.

From the campus corners captured in watercolor, to the stage of national commitment, and to the vast universe imagined on the page, every work of VBS students is not a fleeting spark of inspiration but the flowering of consistent dedication that blossoms over time. Education is a long process of sowing seeds. Every passion that is seen, supported, and nurtured on a larger stage will eventually grow into a towering tree in a child's life.
