From March 21st to April 27th, Vanke Bilingual School hosted the 47th session of its “Growth Support Group”series of talks to strengthen the professional skills of homeroom and life skills teachers , tackle real challenges in student growth, and solidify class-based education. During the "Clarifying Direction and Building Consensus" segment, Teacher Chen Nuosi delivered a keynote speech on the theme of "Internalizing Our Educational Philosophy and Self-Calibrating." She guided all teachers to return to the essence of education and deepen their understanding of the school's educational philosophy and goals. Teacher Chen pointed out that education is by no means a matter of "scripted responses." Rather, it requires internalizing the commitment to "take responsibility for every child's growth" and externalizing it through action—embedding it into every interaction between teacher and student, every conflict resolution, and in every conversation with parents. During the "Deepening of Discussion and Collaborative Exchange" segment, the activity addressed real challenges in teaching and education by identifying seven key student growth issues. These included recess conflict management, defining implicit bullying, addressing inappropriate behavior by subject teachers, guiding students in cross-gender relationships, intervening in school aversion, fostering learning interest, and reflecting on educational practices — all common difficulties in class management. Homeroom teachers worked in groups of two or three, engaging in twenty-minute in-depth discussions around these topics. By grounding their conversations in facts, exploring root causes, and co-creating strategies, they developed solutions that were both professional and practical.

Addressing key areas such as student conflict resolution, implicit bullying, inappropriate teacher behavior, cross-gender relationship guidance, school aversion, writing interest protection, and teacher professional development, the teachers discussed principles and strategies grounded in real cases. They defined boundaries, interventional pathways, and collaborative mechanisms, offering practical guidance for addressing student issues accurately, consistently, and with genuine care.
