On November 22-23, 2024, the high-profile Guangdong Education Society International Education Council Exchange Conference was held in Shenzhen, which brought together many elites in the education field and provided a meaningful platform for exchange and cooperation. During the meeting, Principal Yang and Teacher Peng discussed the innovative application and future development trends of AI technology in education with the experts, scholars and front-line educators from Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Guangxi, Henan, etc., and further discussed the innovative practice of interdisciplinary learning within the context of AI technology.

Principal Yang also elaborated on the key points of the implementation of project-based learning, which are that project-based learning should be discipline-driven, focus on the consolidation and improvement of subject knowledge and abilities, and guide students to realize the all-round expansion among disciplines, apply those discipline in life situations and interpersonal communication. Finally, with the results of a project, the students’ creative application and deep understanding they have gained are fully demonstrated, so as to effectively achieve the educational goal of improving students’ comprehensive literacy.
