万双网讯  2月9日，新春的气息依旧浓郁，耳畔的春风已缓缓吹起！在这春风和煦、百花争艳的日子里，万双一二年级的孩子们也在期待中迎来了热闹非凡、妙趣横生的游园活动。

VBS Net News   The Chinese New Year is still in full swing, the spring breeze is blowing gently. On this warm day of spring, when all the flowers are in bloom, students of Vanke Bilingual School Grade 1 and 2 are looking forward to the 2023 VBS New Year Carnival on February 9th.

本次游园活动以“玉兔呈祥，快乐启航”为主题，设置了五个板块、20项内容，其中包括：“兔”个快乐、谈“兔”不凡、直“兔”胸怀、发奋“兔”强、“兔”破自我  、前“兔”无量、“兔”出重围、“兔”个吉利、前“兔”似锦、动若脱兔、“兔“来运转、大展宏“兔”12个学科项目，兔年大吉4个劳动实践项目，以及“兔”步青云——跳跳跳、“兔”飞猛进——运运运、扬眉“兔”气——吹吹吹、好运“兔”来——拔拔拔4个游戏内容，使孩子们在灵动有趣的场景中获得快乐，在真实好玩的情境中挑战项目，寓学于乐，收获满满。

The theme of the Carnival is ＂The Year of Rabbit＂, and there are  five sections with 20  Rabbit-themed items, including 12 discipline projects as follows: Be Happy, Talk Well, Spread Frankly, Work Hard to Be Strong, Challenge Myself, Have a Promising Future, Be Standout, Be Auspicious, Have a Bright Future, Move Like a Rabbit, Be Lucky and Realize the Ambition. Also, there are also 4 rabbit-themed practical projects and 4 rabbit-themed games: hopping, dribbling, blowing and pulling. Students can have fun and challenge themselves in real and interesting situations. Also they can learn new knowledge and improve ability through exciting activities.

瞧，孩子们在用自己小组设计的徽章兑换完老师们精心设计的闯关卡后，都迫不及待地想大显身手。

Look! After our children exchanged their group-designed badges for breakout cards, they were eager to stand out and show their knowledge and skills.

看，无论是胡萝卜投掷、角色赛读、图形搭建、位置对应，还是单词分类、连词成句、书框整理、创意DIY……孩子们都能稳健自如、得心应手地巧妙应对。正如孩子们那一张张热情洋溢的笑脸，一副副自信满满的神情一样，它们无时无刻不在展示着万双小萌娃的活泼自信、阳光乐观。

See! Whether it's carrot tossing, role-playing, graph building, positional matching, word sorting, word conjugation, book frame organizing or creative DIY, children are able to deal with all kinds of problems with ease and skills. The smiling and confident faces of children were demonstrating the lively, confident and optimistic nature of VBS students.

听，孩子们正确标准的发音，优美动听的语调，让每一个文字音符都在口中回旋、跳跃，无不让在场的老师们纷纷点头称赞。

Listen! Children have correct and standard pronunciation, beautiful and lovely intonation, which makes every word and note reverberate in their mouths. Teachers appreciate and admire them with satisfaction.

傍晚时分，游园活动在一片欢笑声中热闹地结束了，孩子们在轻松、有趣的情境中体验着成长，收获着快乐，品味着甜蜜，感悟着幸福。

The carnival came to a lively end in the evening with laughing. The children experienced growth, create fond memories, savored sweetness and felt happy in a relaxing and fun atmosphere.

游园活动虽已落下帷幕，但新的学期才刚刚启航，新的出发期待新的成长！祝愿孩子们在新学期里健康快乐，茁壮成长，展翅翱翔，成为更好的自己！

Although the carnival has ended, the new term has just begun. We are looking forward to a new beginning and new growth. We wish that our children have a healthy and happy new term, grow strongly, spread their wings and fly while become better versions of themselves!

This carnival combined subject knowledge with student life, focusing on the four subject knowledge of Chinese, Mathematics, English, and Labor Education, providing students with life-worthy learning and enhancing students' overall understanding. 我觉得今天的活动很有趣，比如说那个石头剪刀布选角色的项目，让我们可以选择自己喜欢的角色来背一背一年级之前学的课文，我觉得很简单。而且呢，我也喜欢读单词那个项目，它也帮我把以前学的内容又复习了一遍，所以我很喜欢这次游园活动。

I think today's activities are very interesting. For example, the rock-paper-scissors character selection project allows us to choose our favorite characters to memorize the texts learned before the first grade. I think it is very simple. What's more, I also like the project of reading words. It also helps me review what I have learned before, so I like this carnival very much.
