万双网讯 2021年11月8日，2021-2022第一学期第十一周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由4G班和4V班承担。这是两个充满活力、坚毅友爱的班级。

VBS News Net: On November 8, the 11th-week flag-raising assembly was held on the school playground, undertaken by 4G and 4V, who are proactive and optimistic.

4G班彭诗岚和4V班林子甯同学主持仪式，4G班黄子芮和4V班韩佳汐同学进行了国旗下的演讲。他们演讲的题目是《消防安全  重于泰山》。

Peng Shilan from 4G and Lin Zining from 4V co-hosted the assembly. Huang Zirui from 4G and Han Jiaxi from 4V gave a speech. Their topic was fire safety.

传说在古希腊神话中，普罗米修斯拥有光明的火种。它为人们驱走了寒冷，照亮了黑夜，为人类的日常生活提供了不少便利。但火同样会会化身恶魔，给人们带来灾难，因而我们要时刻牢记消防安全。每年的11月9日是国家消防安全宣传日，目的是为提高群众消防安全意识，保障消防安全。

In ancient Greek mythology, Prometheus has the kindling of light that drives away the cold, illuminates the night, and provides a lot of convenience for humans' daily lives, but fire will also become a devil. Fire can bring horrible disasters, so we must always keep fire safety in mind. November 9 is the National Fire Safety Promotion Day. The purpose is to prevent fire and reduce fire damage, protecting the safety of citizens and the safety of public properties.

提到“消防”二字，我们必然会联想到“火灾”，脑海里便会出现浓烟、毒气和熊熊烈火这样的一些场景。在社会生活中，火灾已经成为威胁公共安全，危害人们生命财产的一种多发性灾害。

When it comes to the word "fire-fighting," we will inevitably think of "fires," there will be scenes such as thick smoke, poisonous gas, and raging fires in our minds. Fires have become a threat to public safety and endanger people's lives and property.

据统计，全世界每天发生火灾10000起左右，死亡2000多人，伤3000到4000人，造成直接损失达10亿多元。尤其是造成几十人、几百人死亡的特大恶性火灾不断发生，给国家和人民群众的生命财产造成了巨大的损失。

According to reports, there are about 10,000 fires take place every day in the world. More than 2,000 people died;3,000 to 4,000 people were injured in the accident. Which also caused direct economic losses of more than 1 billion yuan, especially the extremely malignant death- hundreds of people died in the fire disaster. Fires continue to occur, which have caused great losses to people's life and property.

2021年10月17日晚，深圳市福田区华强北街道一家德邦快递网点起火。起火原因是该快递网点员工将电动自行车锂电池带入室内充电，充电过程中锂电池着火。根据店内的监控记录，锂电池从冒烟到起火仅仅只需5秒时间。5秒内，浓烟迅速笼罩了店铺。所幸接到报警后，火被成功扑灭，无人员伤亡。令人痛心的是，由于人们消防安全意识淡薄导致的火灾事故还在持续发生着。

On October 17, 2021, in Huaqiang North, Futian District. Depp on Express company caught fire at night. The lithium battery was brought indoors for charging. During the charging process, the lithium battery caught fire. According to the monitoring records in the store, it only took 5 seconds for the lithium battery to catch fire. Within 5 seconds, the dense smoke quickly enveloped the store. It was successfully extinguished, and luckily there were no casualties. People are still lacking safety awareness. Overload circuits or power are dangerous.

同学们你们知道吗？如果在一个排插上插满了插头，会导致电量超负荷使用，从而引发火灾;在森里里一个没熄灭的烟头可能引起一场森林大火……这都是生活中的小细节，只要我们做好了这些细节，就能防患于未然。所以我们要努力学习消防知识，自觉遵守消防法规。在生活中，我们要做到以下几点：

 In the forest, an undistinguished cigarette butt may cause a forest fire. Fire is very dangerous. It's necessary for us to learn a lot about fire, especially learn what to do if we are caught in a fire. Here are some tips for you.

1、不带易燃易爆物品进入校园。

First, do not bring inflammable and explosive materials into the campus.

2、自觉爱护校园内的各种消防设施。

Second, we must consciously take care of the various fire-fighting facilities and equipment on the campus.

3、养成随手关电源的好习惯。

Third, we should develop a good habit of turning off the power at hand.

4、在教室里，不得擅自使用违章电器设备。

11月9日中午，万科双语学校举行了全校师生消防演习。千余名师生现场进行了消防安全逃生演练，学习了灭火器、灭火毯的使用。本次演练活动提升了全校师生的消防安全意识，提高了师生防灾避险逃生能力。

On November 9, VBS held a fire drill for all teachers and students. More than 1000 teachers and students conducted fire safety escape drills. They learned how to use fire extinguishers and fire blankets, which improved the fire safety awareness of all teachers and students and their ability to prevent disasters, avoid risks and escape.

本周升旗典礼上，万科双语学校杨帆校长向全校师生进行了《时事热点》播报。杨校长向同学们介绍了2020年度国家科学技术奖励大会的情况，希望同学们以王大中、顾诵芬这样的功勋国士为榜样，执着于自己喜欢的领域，主动学习和研究，将来成为科学家，为祖国做贡献。

This week's flag-raising assembly, Principal Yang introduced the 2020 National Science and technology award to the students. 11月3日，2020年度国家科学技术奖励大会在人民大会堂正式召开。国家最高科学技术奖是我国在科技领域的最高奖项，历年能够获得这个奖项的无一不是国之脊梁。今年，备受关注的国家最高科学技术奖，授予了中国航空工业集团有限公司顾诵芬院士和清华大学王大中院士。国家最高科学技术奖自2000年正式设立，是中国科技界的最高荣誉。每年获奖者不超过两名。截至2020年，共有35位杰出科学工作者获得国家最高科学技术奖。

On November 3, the 2020 National Science and technology award conference was held in the Great Hall of the people. This year, the national highest science and technology award, which has attracted much attention, was awarded to Academician Gu Songfen from China Aviation Industry Group Co., Ltd. and Academician Wang Dazhong from Tsinghua University. The national highest science and technology award, established in 2000, is the highest honor of Chinese science and technology. There are no more than two winners each year. By 2020, a total of 35 outstanding scientists have won the national highest science and technology award.

顾诵芬院士航空报国，精进不懈，为我国航空事业的发展做出了卓越贡献。作为著名空气动力专家，他是歼8、歼8Ⅱ飞机的总设计师，他作为我国飞机空气动力设计奠基人，主持建立了我国飞机设计体系。多年如一日，他为我国航空事业的发展鞠躬尽瘁，不求回报。

Academician Gu Songfen has made outstanding contributions to the Chinese aviation industry. As a famous aerodynamic expert, he is the chief designer of J-8 and J-8 II aircraft. As the founder of aircraft aerodynamic design in China, he was responsible for establishing an aircraft design system. For many years, he devoted himself to developing the Chinese aviation industry.

像王大中、顾诵芬这样的功勋国士值得我们肃然起敬，他们是当之无愧的国之栋梁。同学们，以他们为榜样吧，让他们成为你们粉丝圈里最亮的星。

在本届科技节中，我知道七年级钟浩诚同学把自己一直执着的汽车研究成果做成了初步的作品，还获得了二等奖。他制作的汽车模型底盘用碳材料减、空心等减轻质量，电机转速可以达到每分钟30万转！我想对浩诚这样的同学们说，向那些为祖国作出贡献的科学家们学习，树立报国理想，执着于自己的爱好，努力学好各科知识，你们一定能为国家作出贡献！希望王说有越来越多的同学热爱科技，执着于自己喜欢的领域，去主动学习和研究，将来成为科学家，为祖国做贡献。在此，我也想告诉同学们，受到钟浩诚同学的启发，我将主导学校建立开放实验室，给同学们提供进行科学实验和研究的实验室条件；还将评选实验室专家，希望同学们积极申报。
