万双网讯  2026年10月26日清晨，万科双语学校举行2026—2027学年第一学期第9周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由6E班承办，董子瑄（Alisa）、李俊德（Nick）担任主持人，王佑宸（Cyrus）、邓琬千（Vivi）、祁钰雯（Alisa）担任升旗手。护旗方阵由乐观、活泼、具有好奇心的6E班全体同学组成。“勇于担当、精准突破、温暖有爱、传承榜样”是他们的班级目标，怀着这份追求，同学们迈着整齐的步伐护送国旗入场，共同完成了庄严的升旗环节。

On the morning of October 26, 2026, Vanke Bilingual School held its Week 9 flag raising ceremony for the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. The ceremony was organized by Class 6E, with Dong Zixuan (Alisa) and Li Junde (Nick) serving as hosts, and Wang Youchen (Cyrus), Deng Wanqian (Vivi), and Qi Yuwen (Alisa) serving as flag raisers. The flag escort team consisted of all students from Class 6E, a group known for their optimism, energy, and curiosity. Their class goals are to take responsibility, pursue precise breakthroughs, show warmth and care, and carry forward positive examples. Guided by these aspirations, the students marched in step as they escorted the national flag into the venue and completed the solemn flag raising ceremony.

在国旗下讲话环节，6E班何依含（Luna）、冯沐晨（Jasmine）带来题为《重温峥嵘岁月，再塑钢骨风范》的中英双语演讲，与全校师生一同回望那段不该被淡忘的历史，探寻和平年代少年应有的精神底色。

During the speech under the national flag, He Yihan (Luna) and Feng Muchen (Jasmine) from Class 6E delivered a bilingual presentation titled Recalling the Eventful Years and Renewing the Spirit of Fortitude. Together with the school community, they looked back on a chapter of history that must be remembered and explored the qualities young people should cultivate in an era of peace.

两位同学的讲述，从一个特殊的日子开始——10月25日，中国人民志愿军抗美援朝纪念日。1950年的这一天，志愿军打响了入朝作战的第一场战役。演讲中，两位同学从长津湖的冰雪、上甘岭的坑道，讲到黄继光、邱少云这些师生熟悉的名字，也让大家留意到：许多人走上战场时，不过十几岁、二十几岁。他们被称为“最可爱的人”，因为在最艰难的时刻，是这些年轻的生命撑起了中华民族的钢铁脊梁。今天，少年当以英雄为镜，看清一个民族在危急时刻挺立的根基，也看清自己的担当与成长方向。

The two students began with a significant date: October 25, the anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers entering the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. On that day in 1950, the Volunteers fought their first battle after entering Korea. Their speech moved from the snow and ice of Chosin Reservoir to the tunnels of Shangganling, and from familiar heroes such as Huang Jiguang and Qiu Shaoyun to a striking fact: many who went to the battlefield were only in their teens or twenties. They were known as the most admirable people because, at the nation's most difficult moment, these young lives upheld the iron backbone of the Chinese nation. Today, young people can look to these heroes as examples, understand what enables a nation to stand firm in times of crisis, and find direction for their own growth and responsibilities.

由历史回到当下，两位同学提出，“钢骨风范”不只体现在战场上的冲锋，更是和平年代人们挺立的脊梁，是对祖国的忠诚、对责任的担当、对困难的坚韧、对和平的珍惜。身为万双少年，再塑钢骨风范并不遥远：跑操时多坚持一圈，课堂上多钻研一道题，唱国歌时多一分郑重，与人交流时多一分尊重和包容。这些看似微小的举动日积月累，终会沉淀成少年挺立的风姿。两位同学鼓励大家扎根中国，面向世界，主动承担中国少年的责任，以青春之我回应时代之问，让“钢骨风范”在校园落地生根，在新时代薪火相传。

Returning from history to the present, the speakers explained that the spirit of fortitude is expressed through courage on the battlefield and through the strength to stand firm in times of peace. It includes loyalty to the motherland, commitment to responsibility, perseverance in the face of difficulty, and respect for peace. For VBS students, cultivating this spirit can begin with everyday actions: running one more lap during exercise, exploring one more problem in class, singing the national anthem with greater solemnity, and showing greater respect and openness in communication. Small actions, repeated over time, shape the strength and character of young people. The speakers encouraged everyone to remain rooted in China while engaging with the world, take responsibility as Chinese youth, and answer the call of the times through their own efforts, allowing this spirit of fortitude to take root on campus and pass from one generation to the next.

随后，胡雅琼老师登台宣读第5至8周“金海豚班”评选结果，获奖班级有1C、1E、1G、2E、2G、2O、3C、5G、5I、6D、6E、6F、6G、6I、6O、6V、7C、7E、7G、7I、8C、8E、8I、9E、9G、9I。热烈的掌声响起，既是向获奖班级表示祝贺，也是对同学们日常努力的肯定与鼓励。

Ms. Hu Yaqiong then announced the results of the Golden Dolphin Class selections for Weeks 5 through 8. The winning classes were 1C, 1E, 1G, 2E, 2G, 2O, 3C, 5G, 5I, 6D, 6E, 6F, 6G, 6I, 6O, 6V, 7C, 7E, 7G, 7I, 8C, 8E, 8I, 9E, 9G, and 9I. The warm applause congratulated the winning classes and recognized the students' consistent effort and progress.

Amid warm applause from all teachers and students, the flag-raising ceremony drew to a successful close. From the turbulent years of more than seven decades ago to the peaceful campus moments beneath the national flag today, this ceremony allowed students to understand resilience through reflection and to find their direction through thoughtful inquiry — for strength of character is cultivated through day-after-day perseverance, and peace must be safeguarded by generation after generation. May VBS students carry this understanding into their daily studies and lives — holding their country in their hearts, keeping their feet on the ground, and striving to grow into citizens of China with good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism, international vision and the courage to create a better future, contributing to a more beautiful and peaceful world. May the land our forebears guarded with their lives grow ever more peaceful in the hands of a new generation; and may the seeds of peace take root on this campus, walking alongside our youth, and bloom into flowers that belong to a new era.

Good morning!

我是六E班何依含，她是6E班冯沐晨。

I am He Yihan (Luna) from Class 6E, and she is Feng Muchen (Jasmine) from Class 6E.

今天我们的演讲题目是《重温峥嵘岁月，再塑钢骨风范》。

The title of our speech today is Recalling the Eventful Years and Renewing the Spirit of Fortitude.

10月25日，是抗美援朝纪念日。1950年10月25日，中国人民志愿军打响了入朝后的第一场战役。那时，新中国刚刚成立，百废待兴，但战火逼近鸭绿江。为了保家卫国，为了守护来之不易的和平，志愿军战士毅然跨过鸭绿江，用血肉之躯筑起钢铁长城。

October 25 marks the anniversary of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. On October 25, 1950, the Chinese People's Volunteers fought their first battle after entering Korea. At that time, the People's Republic of China had only recently been founded and faced the immense task of reconstruction, while the flames of war approached the Yalu River. To defend the motherland and safeguard hard won peace, the volunteer soldiers crossed the river with determination and built a great wall of steel with their own flesh and blood.

我们不会忘记，长津湖的冰雪中，战士们保持着战斗姿势；上甘岭的坑道里，英雄们一次次打退敌人；黄继光用胸膛堵住枪眼，邱少云在烈火中一动不动。他们中很多人，只有十几岁、二十几岁。他们用生命告诉世界：中华民族有钢铁般的脊梁。他们，是“最可爱的人”。

We will never forget the soldiers who held their combat positions amid the snow and ice of Chosin Reservoir, the heroes who repelled the enemy time and again in the tunnels of Shangganling, Huang Jiguang shielding a gun port with his chest, or Qiu Shaoyun remaining motionless in the flames. Many of them were only in their teens or twenties. With their lives, they showed the world that the Chinese nation possesses an iron backbone. They are remembered as the most admirable people.

“峥嵘岁月”已经过去70多年。我们坐在明亮的教室里，在国旗下成长，是否还需要“钢骨风范”？——需要。因为钢骨风范，不只是战场上的冲锋，更是和平年代的脊梁。它是对祖国的忠诚，对责任的担当，对困难的坚韧，对和平的珍惜。

More than seventy years have passed since those arduous times. Today, we sit in bright classrooms and grow beneath the national flag. Do we still need this spirit of fortitude? Yes. This spirit reaches beyond courage on the battlefield and gives us strength in an era of peace. It means loyalty to our motherland, commitment to our responsibilities, perseverance in the face of difficulty, and respect for peace.

站在未来中央，不只是站在聚光灯下，更是站在责任中央、世界中央。我们既读中国故事，也听世界声音；既扎根中国，也拥抱世界。

Standing at the center of the future means standing in the spotlight, taking responsibility, and engaging with the world. We learn the stories of China and listen to voices from around the globe. We remain rooted in China while embracing the world.

身为万双少年，我们可以怎样再塑钢骨风范？

As VBS students, how can we renew this spirit of fortitude?

可以在操场上，跑好每一圈，练就强健体魄；

On the playground, we can complete every lap with determination and build strong bodies.

可以在课堂上，认真探究，遇到难题不轻言放弃；

In the classroom, we can explore with care and refuse to give up when we encounter difficult problems.

可以在班级里，尊重他人，服务集体，让品格健全；

Within our classes, we can respect others, serve the community, and develop sound character.

可以在国旗下，肃立、敬礼、唱响国歌，把家国放在心中；

Under the national flag, we can stand solemnly, salute, and sing the national anthem with our country in our hearts.

可以在交流中，自信表达，尊重不同，把和平与友谊传向世界。

In communication, we can express ourselves with confidence, respect differences, and share peace and friendship with the world.

这些看似微小，却是在为未来打钢骨、筑脊梁。

These actions may seem small, yet each one helps us build the strength and backbone needed for the future.

我们重温峥嵘岁月，是为了不忘来路；再塑钢骨风范，是为了走向未来。让我们把先烈的精神，化作今天的行动；把和平的种子，种进心里，也传递给世界。让我们做有根、有光、有担当的中国少年！为开创更美好、更和平的世界贡献力量！

We revisit those eventful years so that we remember where we came from, and we renew the spirit of fortitude so that we can move confidently toward the future. Let us turn the spirit of the martyrs into action today, plant the seeds of peace in our hearts, and share them with the world. Let us become Chinese youth who are rooted, radiant, and responsible, and contribute to a better and more peaceful world!
