万双网讯  金秋十月，中华人民共和国迎来 77 周年华诞。深圳万科双语学校结合PYP、MYP学段特点，为一至九年级分层设计国庆主题实践作业，引导同学们走出教室、走近城市，在真实探究与躬身实践中读懂家国，度过一段充实而富有意义的假期。

In October, the People’s Republic of China celebrated its 77th anniversary. Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School designed layered National Day-themed practical assignments for Grades 1 through 9, tailored to the characteristics of the PYP and MYP stages. These assignments guided students to step out of the classroom and into the city, to understand the meaning of home and country through authentic inquiry and hands-on practice, and to enjoy a fulfilling and meaningful holiday experience.

一年级开展“童心探国庆”活动。孩子们细数国旗上的五角星，认识国庆纪念日，用画笔描绘心中的祖国。在轻松愉快的游戏化探究中，爱国的种子悄悄在童心里生根发芽。

Grade 1 carried out the “Childlike Hearts Explore National Day” activity. The children counted the five stars on the national flag, learned about the National Day holiday as a commemorative occasion, and painted the motherland as they envisioned it. Through relaxed, game-based inquiry, the seeds of patriotism quietly took root in their young hearts.

二年级以“童心向党，欢度国庆”为主题。同学们在家长陪同下走进莲花山公园、深圳革命烈士陵园等红色地标，开启“红色寻宝”之旅，探究国旗、国歌、国徽等国家象征承载的意义。

Grade 2 explored the theme “Having Childlike Hearts Toward the Party and Celebrating National Day Together.” Accompanied by their parents, students visited red landmarks such as Lianhuashan Park and the Shenzhen Revolutionary Martyrs’ Cemetery, embarking on a “red treasure hunt” to explore the meaning behind national symbols such as the flag, the anthem, and the national emblem.

三年级学子化身“城市小侦探”，走上街头寻觅城市里的国庆印记——道路两旁的五星红旗、广场上盛放的鲜花花坛，都成了他们眼中别样的风景。随后，他们巧用落叶、干花等自然材料拼贴出国旗与祖国山河图景，在童趣创作中表达对祖国的祝福。

Grade 3 students became “little city detectives,” taking to the streets to search for signs of National Day around the city — the five-star red flags lining the roads and the blooming flower beds in the plazas were all distinctive sights in their eyes. They then used natural materials such as fallen leaves and dried flowers to create collages of the national flag and the landscapes of the motherland, expressing their blessings in playful, creative works.

四年级结合学校的“深圳四十五年光影长卷”展览，带着老照片实地寻访，探寻城市的“昨日与今天”，听老一辈讲述当年的创业故事，在今昔对比中感受特区的蓬勃变迁。

Grade 4 connected their work to the school's exhibition “Marks of the Times: A 45-Year Visual Chronicle of Shenzhen.” Using old photographs, they conducted field visits to explore the city’s “yesterday and today,” listening to older generations recount stories of entrepreneurship in years past, and experiencing the tremendous transformation of the Special Economic Zone through contrasting the past and present.

五年级围绕“传承红色血脉，争做时代少年”开展探究。同学们探访红色教育基地与改革开放展馆，以调研报告、主题海报或行动方案等形式呈现探究成果，思考新时代少年的责任与担当。

Grade 5 conducted inquiries around the theme of “Carrying Forward the Red Legacy, Striving to Be Youth of the New Era.” Students visited red education bases and reformation exhibition halls, presenting their findings through research reports, themed posters, or action plans, and reflecting on the responsibilities and commitments of young people in the new era.

六年级的同学们化身“国旗观察员”，寻访身边的“中国红”。他们对照《中华人民共和国国旗法》观察国旗悬挂是否规范，思考如何尊重、爱护国旗，让法治意识与爱国情怀在细节中扎根。

Grade 6 students became “flag observers,” seeking out the “Chinese red” around them. Using the National Flag Law of the People’s Republic of China as a reference, they observed whether flags were displayed in accordance with state regulations, and considered how to respect and protect the national flag, allowing legal awareness and patriotic feelings to take root.

七年级开展“城市微探访”实践。同学们回到故乡，聆听长辈诉说奋斗往事，体悟家国相依的温暖联结。同学们用生动的文字记录 “我家的国庆时刻”，践行“城市共生小事”，以微小而具体的行动，诠释“强国有我”的青春誓言。

Grade 7 carried out “urban micro-visits.” Students returned to their hometowns, listened to their elders recount stories of struggle, and experienced the warm bond between family and country. They recorded “my family’s National Day moment” in vivid writing, and practiced “small acts of urban coexistence,” interpreting the youthful vow of “a strong nation begins with me” through small but concrete actions.

八年级以“山河寻迹，家国躬行”为主题。同学们走上街头，观察节日里装扮一新的城市景象，向坚守岗位的劳动者致敬；他们将假期里的所见所感绘成画卷——有的展现祖国山河的壮阔，有的勾勒城市发展的风貌，一笔一画间流露出对国家的热爱与告白。

Grade 8 explored the theme of “Tracing Mountains and Rivers to Practice Patriotism.” Students took to the streets to observe the city dressed up for the holiday and paid tribute to workers who remained at their posts. They turned what they saw and felt during the holiday into paintings — some depicting the grandeur of the motherland’s landscapes, others sketching the character of the city’s development — expressing their love of and devotion to the country through every stroke.

九年级推进MYP社区设计调研。同学们立足真实社区需求，通过走访与踏勘确定调研项目、提炼驱动性问题——从深圳绿道调研到向管理部门撰写建议书，他们用双脚丈量家园，用行动回应社会，开启了属于青少年的公民行动。

Grade 9 advanced their MYP Community Design inquiries. Grounded in real community needs, students identified research projects and refined driving questions through visits and field surveys — from investigating Shenzhen’s greenways to drafting proposals for the relevant authorities. They measured their homeland with their own feet and responded to society through action, launching a civic initiative that belongs to young people.

本次国庆主题实践作业，是学校IB育人理念的一次生动落地：从PYP的超学科探究，到MYP的社区设计，学生们始终以“探究者”的姿态主动提问、深度思考、躬身行动。未来，学校将继续以真实问题为驱动，让家国情怀在探究与行动中持续生长，陪伴每一位学生成长为勤学好问、知识渊博、富有爱心的终身学习者。

This National Day-themed practical assignment was a vivid embodiment of the school's IB educational philosophy: from the transdisciplinary inquiry of the PYP to the Community Design of the MYP, students consistently took on the role of “inquirers,” asking questions proactively, thinking deeply, and taking action. Looking ahead, the school will continue to use real-world problems as drivers, allowing patriotism to grow continuously through inquiry and action, and accompanying every student in becoming an inquisitive, knowledgeable, and caring lifelong learner.
