万双网讯  金秋九月，硕果盈枝，在万科双语学校，一场关于探究与成长的盛会如约而至。2026年9月17日，深圳万科双语学校“IB探究成果展暨2026年暑假PBL实践作业汇报展示活动”圆满举行。2026年，APEC相关会议将在深圳举办，本次成果展以“APEC与我们的城市”为主线，集中呈现二至九年级学生的暑假项目式学习（PBL）成果，邀请一至九年级学生前来参观、观摩，感受项目探究的魅力。

September was a season of growth and achievement. At Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School, students and teachers came together for a celebration of inquiry, learning and personal development. On September 17th, 2026, Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School held an IB Inquiry Exhibition and the 2026 Summer PBL Project Showcase. With APEC meetings set to take place in Shenzhen in 2026, this year’s exhibition centered on the theme of “APEC and Our City.” The event presented the summer Project Based Learning, or PBL, projects completed by students from Grades 2 to 9. Students from Grades 1 to 9 were invited to explore the exhibition and experience the excitement of inquiry-based learning.

各年级探究主题精彩纷呈：二年级漫游社区，寻访身边的温暖角落；三年级化身“商超探险家”，在货架间寻找APEC经济体商品；四年级围绕科技、生态、文化三张“深圳名片”担任小小推介官；五年级沿创新、生态、开放、合作四条线路搜寻深圳的“APEC痕迹”；六年级开展家庭碳足迹调研，设计APEC“低碳参会指南”；七年级围绕“鹏城逢APEC，少年筑星光梦”开展学习调研；八年级执行“地球降温计划”，完成七天家庭减碳实验；九年级化身“城市使者”，以手绘地图与微型展览呈现深圳与APEC的联结。全程坚持“无屏挑战”，以纸笔与双手完成探究，让学习回归真实体验，是本届作业展最大的特色。

Each grade approached the theme from a different perspective. Grade 2 students explored their local communities and discovered the people and places that bring warmth to everyday life. Grade 3 students became “supermarket explorers,” searching store shelves for products from the economies of APEC countries. Grade 4 students took on the roles of young ambassadors for Shenzhen, introducing the city through three defining features: technology, ecology and culture. Grade 5 students traced Shenzhen’s connections to APEC through four themes: innovation, sustainability, openness and cooperation. Grade 6 students investigated their families’ carbon footprints and created a “Low Carbon Guide for APEC Participants.” Grade 7 students conducted research under the theme “APEC Meets Shenzhen: Young Minds Build a Brighter Future.” Grade 8 students carried out the “Cool the Earth” initiative, completing a seven-day household carbon reduction experiment. Grade 9 students became “city ambassadors,” using hand drawn maps and miniature exhibitions to illustrate the connections between Shenzhen and APEC. One of the distinctive features of this year’s exhibition was its screen free approach. Throughout the projects, students relied on paper, pens and hands-on work, allowing learning to take place through direct observation, investigation and real-world experiences.

汇报展示采用“画廊漫步”的形式进行。展位前，一张张手绘地图、一份份调研报告、一件件创意作品，记录着同学们暑假探究的足迹。参观师生在展位间驻足观摩，听各小组学生现场讲解探究历程。展示评价员穿行其间，认真聆听各小组汇报，逐一进行点评。从探究深度、成果质量到表现形式，评价员给出了中肯而具体的反馈，各小组同学在问答与展示中不断打磨自己的思考。

The showcase was organized as a gallery walk. Hand drawn maps, research reports and creative projects filled the exhibition spaces, recording the students’ journeys of inquiry throughout the summer. Students and teachers moved from booth to booth, listening as each group explained their research processes, discoveries and final outcomes. Evaluators also visited each booth, listening carefully to the presentations and offering thoughtful, specific feedback. Their comments covered the depth of inquiry, the quality of project outcomes and the effectiveness of the presentations. Through questions, discussion and reflection, students continued to refine their ideas and deepen their understanding.

展示活动结束后，各小组围绕本组的项目历程开展总结反思：回顾目标达成、听取评价员意见、梳理合作中的收获与不足，把建议转化为下一步改进的方向。在回顾与倾听中，同学们不仅看见成果，更看见成长，为这场暑期探究画上完整句号。

Following the exhibition, each group reflected on their project’s journey. Students reviewed the goals they had achieved, considered feedback from the evaluators and discussed both the strengths and challenges of working together. They then turned these reflections into ideas for future improvement. Through this process of reflection and dialogue, students gained a clearer understanding of both their achievements and their personal growth, bringing their summer inquiry experience to a meaningful conclusion.

万双学子在真实情境中学会观察、思考与合作，家国情怀与国际视野在一件件作品中悄然生长。未来，学校将继续深化项目式学习，引领学生在实践中学会担当，以少年之姿讲好深圳故事、中国故事，迎接APEC时刻的到来。

Through authentic learning experiences, students at Vanke Bilingual School developed their abilities to observe, think critically and collaborate with others. Their projects also reflected a growing sense of responsibility toward their country and community, together with an increasingly international outlook. Looking ahead, Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School will continue to strengthen its Project Based Learning and provide students with opportunities to learn through meaningful real world experiences. Through exploration, action and reflection, students will continue to develop a sense of responsibility and share the stories of Shenzhen and China with the wider world as the city welcomes the arrival of APEC.
