万双网讯  为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力，提升学生的中英文综合素养，让孩子站在舞台中央，2026年6月16日，万科双语学校第72期E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。百余名师生现场聆听了演讲，活动同时面向全校师生直播。

To enhance students’ ability to speak and express themselves, improve their overall Chinese and English literacy, and place children at the center of the stage, the 72nd E-talk of Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school theater on June 16, 2026. Over 100 teachers and students attended the event, which was also live-streamed to the entire school community.

本次E-talk活动以“The Power of Reading”为主题，由5V班卢昊阳（Jack）同学担任主持，Eric和Tim老师担任评委。四至五年级的五位同学依次登台，用流利的英语分享了各自的阅读感悟、心头好书与日积月累的阅读习惯，在表达与倾听中，共同呈现了一场关于书籍与成长的对话。

This E-talk was themed “The Power of Reading”, with Jack from Class 5V serving as host and teachers Eric and Tim as judges. Five students from Grades 4 and 5 took the stage one by one, sharing in fluent English their personal reading reflections, favorite books, and the reading habits they have cultivated over time. Through expression and attentive listening, they presented a heartfelt dialogue about books and personal growth.

5C班蔡惟琳（Mira）以“The Magic of Themed Reading”为题，用活泼真挚的语言分享了自己的阅读故事。她最爱的阅读课在每周一下午——学校图书馆宽敞明亮、藏书丰富，图书管理员李老师和英语老师总在一旁耐心协助。她重点介绍了Raz分级读物带来的乐趣：词汇简洁、配图精美、故事生动，阅读时仿佛身临其境。她还提到将自己的好书推荐给好友Lily，两人一起共读、交流心得，阅读从此多了一份陪伴的温度。最后她向所有人发出倡议：阅读并不枯燥，它就像一场纸上旅行，不妨走进图书馆，挑一本喜欢的书静静品读，发掘趣味与新知。她相信，阅读能丰盈生活，希望每个人都能找到属于自己的那本书，真正爱上阅读。评委老师肯定了Mira演讲素材鲜活、读书经历真实有趣，能让人感受到她对阅读发自内心的热爱，同时也建议她在演讲时更加大方自信，放大语气和肢体表现力，让分享更具感染力。

Mira from Class 5C spoke on “The Magic of Themed Reading”, sharing her love for Monday afternoon library classes and the joy of Raz graded readers with their simple words, beautiful pictures, and vivid stories. She also described reading with her friend Lily, which added warmth to the experience. She encouraged everyone to see reading as a paper journey: find a book you love and enjoy it quietly. She believes reading enriches life and hopes everyone can discover their own book and fall in love with reading. The judges praised her vivid and genuine speech but suggested she speak with more confidence and use a more expressive tone and gestures to make her sharing more engaging.

5D班殷唯（Lucas）以亲切的口吻分享了主题《阅读的力量》。他回忆幼时母亲睡前讲故事的经历，正是那些温暖的声音，让他深深爱上了阅读。他从三个层面阐述阅读的价值：阅读如同一扇魔法大门，无需远行便能领略世界风光、遨游太空、拓宽眼界；阅读能积累词句、改善写作，也能趣味化理解数理知识，助力学习成长；书中的故事教会他善良、勇敢与共情，他曾用故事开导失意的同学，学会温柔体谅他人。他还分享了自己轻松易坚持的阅读方式——不限书本类型，利用碎片时间独自或结伴阅读。最后他向所有人发出倡议：留出时间读书，让兼具乐趣、知识与想象力的阅读陪伴一生。评委老师称赞Lucas发音标准流畅，演讲内容条理清晰、充实有力，视频表现十分出色，同时也期待他能亲临现场舞台展示，相信现场演讲会更具感染力。

Lucas from Class 5D spoke on “The Power of Reading” with a warm tone, recalling how his mother’s bedtime stories first inspired his love for books. He highlighted three benefits of reading: broadening horizons, improving academic skills, and building empathy — even using a story to comfort a sad classmate. He also shared his simple reading habits: reading whatever he likes, whenever he has time, alone or with others. He encouraged everyone to make time for reading, so that joy, knowledge, and imagination can stay with them for life. The judges praised his clear pronunciation, well-organized content, and strong video performance, while expressing hope to see him perform live on stage for even greater impact.

5G班杨连纵（Eric）以“My Favourite Book — Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone”为题展开分享。他介绍该书由J.K.罗琳创作于1995年前，描绘了一个奇妙的巫师世界，作品从最初无人问津到后来风靡全球。他梳理了故事主线：哈利进入霍格沃茨，结识赫敏与罗恩；魔法石拥有长生与炼金的魔力；凭借母亲爱的庇护，哈利击败奇洛，阻止伏地魔夺走魔法石。Eric坦言自己深爱这本书，不仅因其情节惊险有趣，更因其中蕴藏着诸多人生道理。评委老师表示自己也是这部作品的忠实读者，书中情节早已熟记于心，他称赞Eric对内容梳理细致完整，整场演讲完成度高，非常喜欢他的分享。

Eric from Class 5G spoke on “My Favourite Book — Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.” He introduced J.K. Rowling’s classic, which rose from obscurity to worldwide fame after its publication in the mid-1990s. He summarized the plot: Harry enters Hogwarts, befriends Hermione and Ron, and — shielded by his mother’s love — defeats Quirrell to stop Voldemort from taking the Philosopher’s Stone. Eric said he loves the book not just for its exciting plot but also for its many life lessons. The judges, who are also fans of the book, praised Eric for his thorough and clear summary and his strong performance, saying they truly enjoyed his presentation.

4D班李子陌（Josephine）以《小王子》为主题展开演讲。她梳理了故事脉络：小王子因与玫瑰争吵而离开自己的星球，在星际旅行中遇见国王、虚荣的人、商人等各类古怪成年人，他们终日执着于无意义的事，活得空虚；最终小王子来到地球，与善良的飞行员结为挚友。她分享了自己的感悟：看待事物不能只看外表，珍贵之物要用心感受；真挚的友谊需要陪伴与真诚；那朵独属于小王子的玫瑰，也让她懂得真爱意味着长久的责任与呵护。她认为这本书如同良师，阅读能带来温暖平和的内心，提醒自己保持纯粹善良，珍惜身边人。评委老师称赞其完整梳理了故事脉络，清晰分层地分享了书中关于友谊、爱与人生的哲理，观点细腻走心，看得出她真正读懂了这本书。同时建议她在讲述时加入更多轻柔舒缓的语调，以贴合这本书温柔治愈的氛围。

Josephine from Class 4D spoke on “The Little Prince.” She recounted the story: the prince leaves his planet after an argument with his rose, meets various absurd adults on his journey, and eventually befriends a pilot on Earth. She shared her takeaways — look beyond appearances, feel with the heart; true friendship requires sincerity; love means lasting care. She sees the book as a mentor that brings peace and reminds her to be kind. The judges praised her clear and thoughtful analysis of the book’s themes and suggested she use a softer tone to match the book’s gentle atmosphere.

4G班李政达（Tiger）以“How to Grow Through Reading”为主题展开演讲。他首先对比了短视频与书籍的差异：短视频轻松有趣、能快速获取碎片化知识，而阅读能锻炼深度思考、激发想象力、积累词汇、提升拼写、习得生活技能，且不易损伤视力。随后他分享了四条阅读方法：边读边做笔记、与他人交流内容、复述笔记、定期复盘。他最后点明核心观点：阅读不止于读完一本书，更在于实现思想与内心的成长，这正是阅读独有的力量。评委老师称赞Tiger的演讲对比鲜明、方法实用、逻辑清晰，同时建议他在对比短视频和书籍时加重语气突出阅读的优势，以增强观点的说服力。

Tiger from Class 4G spoke on “How to Grow Through Reading.” He compared short videos and books — videos are fun and quick, but reading builds deep thinking, imagination, vocabulary, and life skills, and is kinder to the eyes. He shared four reading tips: take notes, discuss with others, retell, and review. His key point: reading is about inner growth, not just finishing a book. The judges praised his clear comparison, practical advice, and logical flow, and suggested he emphasize reading’s advantages more strongly when contrasting it with short videos.

评委Tim和Eric老师对本次活动给予高度评价，称赞同学们以丰富多样的形式诠释阅读主题——既有条理清晰的书籍梳理，又有真挚动人的阅读感悟，展现了扎实的英语口语功底与热爱阅读的积极态度；同时也建议同学们在演讲时增强自信，辅以自然的肢体动作与语调起伏，让阅读的魅力传递得更有感染力。活动尾声，评委老师为全体演讲选手颁发证书并合影留念。本次E-talk不仅搭建了展示英语风采的舞台，更让阅读的乐趣与力量浸润校园。正如活动所传递的——书本是终身的良师益友，坚持阅读、用心感受，方能以书香滋养成长之路。

The judges, Teachers Tim and Eric, spoke highly of the event, commending the students for interpreting the theme of reading through a rich variety of forms — featuring both well-organized book summaries and heartfelt reflections that demonstrated solid English-speaking skills and a genuine passion for reading. They also suggested that students enhance their confidence during speeches by incorporating natural body language and vocal variety, so that the charm of reading could be conveyed with greater impact. At the end of the event, the judges presented certificates to all the speakers and posed for a group photo. This E-talk not only provided a stage for students to showcase their English talents but also allowed the joy and power of reading to permeate the campus. As the event conveyed so well: books are lifelong mentors and friends; only by persisting in reading and engaging with it wholeheartedly can we nurture our growth with the nourishment of knowledge and wisdom.

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次，学生自主报名参与，中文、英文均可，老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲，主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说，善思、善辩、善究。

The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.

E-talk的舞台是开放的，我们欢迎每一位VBS未来少年来到这里，站在聚光灯下，向世界展示自己的独特魅力；我们鼓励孩子们挑战自我，突破困境；我们相信，每一个孩子都有无限的潜力，只要他们有勇气站上舞台，就有可能成为真正的演讲者。

The stage of E-talk is open. We welcome every future teenager of VBS to come here, stand in the spotlight, and show their unique charm to the world; we encourage children to challenge themselves and break through difficulties; we believe that every child has unlimited potential. As long as they have the courage to stand on the stage, they may become real speakers.
