万双网讯  2026年6月2日，万科双语学校举行2025-2026学年第二学期第14周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由2X班负责。张驰（Alice）和付又嘉（Youjia）担任主持人，7G班的姚懿轩（George）、熊梦凡（Albert）以及7E班的黄烨腾（Darren）担任升旗手。护旗任务由2X班全体同学组成，建设和谐友爱，互助共进的班集体是2X班的目标，他们共同完成了庄严的升旗环节。

On June 2nd, 2026, the flag-raising ceremony for the fourteenth week of the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year was held on the playground of Vanke Bilingual School. This ceremony was hosted by Class 2x. Zhang Chi (Alice) and Fu Youjia (Youjia) served as the hosts. Yao Yixuan (George) from Class 7G, Xiong Mengfan (Albert) from Class 7G, and Huang Yeteng (Darren) from Class 7E served as the flag-raisers. The color guard duty was carried out by all the students of Class 2X, whose goal is to build a harmonious, caring, and mutually supportive class community.

在国旗下讲话环节，闫珺涵（Seven）和周熙娅（Jojo）两位同学带领全体师生共同回味了刚刚过去的六一儿童节。她们回忆起校园变成欢乐游乐场的美好一天，水仗、美食、游戏和快闪舞台都成为温暖难忘的片段。两位同学还分享了习近平总书记对少年儿童的殷切寄语，希望大家有志向、有梦想、爱学习、爱劳动、懂感恩、懂友善、敢创新、敢奋斗。结合学校坚守“身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越，具有家国情怀和国际视野，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”的培养（成长）目标，她们向全体同学提出两点希望：永葆童心、保持热爱，心怀感恩、向阳成长。最后，她们祝愿每一位万双少年在爱与陪伴中乐观坚毅，勇敢奔赴美好未来。

During the speech segment under the national flag, Yan Junhan (Seven) and Zhou Xiya (Jojo) led all teachers and students in revisiting the recent International Children’s Day. They recalled that wonderful day when the campus turned into a joyful playground, with water fights, delicious food, fun games and a flash mob stage creating warm and unforgettable moments. The two students also shared the earnest message from President Xi to young people: they should have aspirations and dreams, love learning and working, be grateful and friendly, and dare to innovate and strive. Aligning with the school’s mission—to nurture Chinese citizens with sound health, integrity, academic excellence, a sense of national identity, global vision, and the courage to create a bright future—they set two expectations for all students: keep a childlike and passionate heart; and be thankful for your growth. Finally, they wished that every VBSer could stay optimistic and resilient in love and companionship, and bravely embrace a brilliant future.

在“书记话时事”环节，第一书记董爱霞老师带来了主题为“告别‘冰山之王’，共护地球家园”的分享。她讲述了曾经全球最大的冰山A23a在漂泊40年后于今年4月彻底崩塌消逝的消息。这座体量庞大的“冰山之王”曾在1986年脱离南极冰架、搁浅三十余年，却在近几年受全球升温影响加速消融，短短一年面积锐减六成。

During the "Secretary’s Talk on Current Affairs" segment, First Secretary Teacher Dong Aixia delivered a talk titled “Farewell to the ‘King of Icebergs’, Let’s Protect Our Earth Together”. She talked about the news that A23a, once the world’s largest iceberg, finally collapsed and disappeared in April this year after drifting for 40 years. This massive "King of Icebergs" broke away from the Antarctic ice shelf in 1986 and remained stranded for more than 30 years. However, affected by heating of global warming in recent years, it has melted at an accelerated rate, shrinking by nearly 60 percent in just one year.

董老师指出，冰山加速消融的根源在于全球气候变暖，这不仅破坏极地生态、威胁企鹅和海豹的生存，还会扰乱洋流循环、影响航行安全，形成持续升温的恶性循环。她结合习近平主席提出的全球生态治理倡议，介绍了我国通过极地科考和卫星监测为全球气候研究贡献的中国力量，并向同学们发出呼吁：心怀责任、践行环保，主动学习生态知识，坚持节约水电、垃圾分类、绿色出行，带动家人朋友共同守护自然。最后，她寄语全体同学铭记A23a的警示，把环保融入日常，以微小行动汇聚守护力量，共同守护美丽地球家园。

Teacher Dong pointed out that the root cause of the accelerated iceberg melting is global climate warming. This not only damages polar ecosystems and threatens the survival of penguins and seals, but also disrupts ocean current cycles, endangers navigation safety, and creates a vicious cycle of continuous temperature rise. Referring to President Xi Jinping’s initiatives for global ecological governance, she introduced how China contributes to global climate research through polar scientific expeditions and satellite monitoring. She called on students to embrace responsibility and practice environmental protection: actively learn about ecology, conserve water and electricity, sort waste, choose green modes of travel, and inspire family and friends to protect nature together. Finally, she urged all students to remember the warning of Iceberg A23a, by integrating environmental protection into daily life and turning small actions into collective strength to safeguard our beautiful planet.

仪式最后，胡雅琼老师宣读了第11-13周获得“金海豚”荣誉的班级名单。王乐乐老师、余丹老师和黄巧莉老师为获奖班级颁奖。

At the end of the ceremony, Teacher Hu Yaqiong announced the classes that won the“Golden Dolphin”honor for Weeks 11 through 13. Teacher Wang Lele, Teacher Yu Dan and Teacher Huang Qiaoli presented the awards to the winning classes.

在庄重而热烈的氛围中，本次升旗仪式落下帷幕。从万双六一儿童节的回顾，到“冰山之王”的警示，万双师生在庄严的国旗下收获了感动与责任。全体师生将带着这份鼓舞，以更饱满的热情投入到接下来的学习与生活中，共同守护美好的校园与地球家园。

In a solemn and warm atmosphere, the flag-raising ceremony came to an end. From the reflection on Vanke Bilingual School's Children's Day activities to the warning of the demise of the "King of Icebergs," teachers and students gathered under the solemn national flag, having gained a new sense of responsibility. Inspired and encouraged, all teachers and students will devote themselves to the upcoming week of studies with even greater enthusiasm, working together to protect our beautiful campus and our shared home—the Earth.

大家早上好！昨天我们刚刚度过了一个愉快的六一儿童节。今天，我们一起来共同关注一则来自南极的消息：曾经的全球最大冰山A23a，在漂泊40年后，于今年4月彻底崩塌“销号”，告别了历史舞台。这座体量庞大的“冰山之王”悄然消逝，这不仅是一场自然落幕，更是全球变暖向人类敲响的生态警钟。

Good morning! Yesterday we enjoyed a happy Children’s Day. Today, let us turn our attention to news from Antarctica: A23a, once the world’s largest iceberg, which finally collapsed and disappeared in April this year after drifting for 40 years. The quiet disappearance of this giant "king of icebergs" is not just a natural ending, but also an ecological warning of global warming to humanity.

A23a冰山于1986年脱离南极冰架，曾在海面静静搁浅三十余年。而近几年，受全球升温影响，它消融速度急剧加快，短短一年面积锐减六成，最终消散于大海。我国风云三号卫星全程追踪监测，精准记录它的消亡过程，为全球气候研究提供了宝贵的中国数据。

Iceberg A23a broke away from the Antarctic ice shelf in 1986 and remained stranded for more than 30 years. In recent years, affected by global warming, its melting rate has accelerated sharply, shrinking by 60% in just one year before finally dissolving into the ocean. China’s FY-3 satellites tracked and monitored the whole process, providing valuable data from China for global climate research.

冰山加速消融，根源在于全球气候变暖。世界气象组织监测表明，海洋不断吸收热量，从底部侵蚀南极冰体，打破了极地原本稳定的自然平衡。冰山消融带来了一连串连锁危害：极地生态被破坏，企鹅、海豹觅食受阻；大量淡水涌入海洋，扰乱洋流循环；漂浮的冰山碎块，严重威胁海上航行安全。更危险的是，极地持续“变绿”，会形成持续升温、不断消融的恶性循环。

The accelerated melting of icebergs is rooted in global climate change. According to the World Meteorological Organization, the ocean absorbs the increasing heat, eroding Antarctic ice from below and disrupting the stable polar ecosystem. Melting icebergs bring a series of hazards: damage to polar habitats, difficulties in foraging for penguins and seals, disruption of ocean currents caused by influxes of freshwater, and threats to maritime safety from floating ice fragments. Worse still, the continuous "greening" of the polar regions may create a vicious cycle of rising temperatures and further melting.

气候变化是全人类的共同挑战。习近平主席提出的四大全球倡议，为全球生态治理指明方向。我国始终主动担当，深耕极地科考、完善监测体系，用实际行动守护地球生态，为全球气候治理贡献中国力量。

Climate change is a challenge shared by all mankind. The four global initiatives have pointed out the direction for global ecological governance. China has taken an active role, strengthening polar scientific research, improving monitoring systems, and contributing Chinese efforts to protecting the planet.

同学们，冰山的消逝直观印证了变暖危机，生态保护从来离我们不远。作为新时代少年，我们应当心怀责任、践行环保。主动学习生态知识，树立环保意识；坚持节约水电、垃圾分类、绿色出行，践行低碳生活；主动带动家人朋友，共同守护自然。

Dear students, the disappearance of the iceberg is a clear sign of the warming crisis. Environmental protection is closely linked to us.
