【VBS 小演说家】Technology and Life——梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校E-talk活动(第68期)成功举办

万双网讯  为提升学生英语表达能力与跨文化沟通素养,激发学生对科技发展与未来生活的思考,2026年5月18日万科双语学校第68期E-talk活动在学校剧场精彩举行。本期活动以“Technology and Life”为主题,7位来自七、八年级的同学依次登上舞台,用自信流利的英语分享了他们对于科技与生活的观察、体验与思考。现场气氛热烈,掌声不断。


To enhance students’ English expression skills and intercultural communication competence, and inspire their thinking about technological development and future life, the 68th E-talk Event of Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school theater on May 18th, 2026. With the theme of “Technology and Life”,seven students from Grades 7 and 8 took to the stage one by one,sharing their observations,experiences and reflections on technology and life in confident and fluent English. The atmosphere was warm and applause resounded throughout the venue.


本次E-talk围绕人工智能、数字生活、绿色科技等热点话题展开。同学们从学习、家庭、环境保护以及情感温度等多个角度,展现了科技对现代生活带来的深刻影响,也表达了新时代青少年对于科技发展的独立思考。


This E-talk focused on hot topics such as artificial intelligence, digital life and green technology. From multiple perspectives including study, family, environmental protection and emotional warmth, the students demonstrated the profound impact of technology on modern life and expressed the independent thinking of teenagers in the new era towards technological development.


8G班贺方宜(Nina)同学以《A Journey into Our Digital World》为题,通过学习、出行与家庭生活中的真实案例,介绍了科技如何改变人们的日常生活。她提到,高铁、二维码支付、智能家电等科技产品让生活更加高效便利,同时也提醒大家要学会平衡数字世界与现实生活的关系。Connor老师点评道,她的演讲逻辑清晰、内容丰富,自然地将科技与现实生活联系在一起,展现了良好的语言组织能力与表达自信,同时称赞了她沉稳大方的舞台表现。


He Fangyi(Nina) from Class 8G delivered a speech titled A Journey into Our Digital World. Through real-life examples in studies, travel and family life, she introduced how technology has transformed people’s daily lives. She mentioned that technological advancements such as high-speed trains, QR code payment and smart home appliances have made life more efficient and convenient, while also reminding everyone to learn to balance the relationship between the digital world and real life. Teacher Connor commented that her speech was logically clear and rich in content, naturally connecting technology with real life, demonstrating excellent language organizational skills and confidence in expression, and praised her calm and graceful stage presence.

8C班徐心(Helen)带来了题为《Technology Makes Life Better》的演讲。她从学校学习、家庭沟通以及兴趣发展等方面,分享了科技如何让生活变得更加便捷、多彩与有意义,并特别强调同学们应合理使用电子产品,让科技真正成为学习与成长的助力。Ryan老师点评道,她的演讲内容贴近生活、语言流畅自然,展现了良好的亲和力与感染力,同时鼓励她在PPT切换与演讲配合上更加从容。


Xu Xin(Helen)from Class 8C gave a speech titled Technology Makes Life Better. From aspects of schooling, family communication and interest development, she shared how technology has made life more convenient, colorful and meaningful, and especially emphasized that students should use electronic products rationally so that technology can become an efficient force for their study and growth. Teacher Ryan commented that her speech was close to life and had fluent and natural language, and encouraged her to be more composed in coordinating PPT transitions during her speech.

8E班刘胤呈(Spike)同学以《Technology and Life》为主题,介绍了科技在健康、安全以及生活效率方面带来的积极变化,从智能手表到智能家居设备,生动展示了科技如何融入人们生活的方方面面,同时也呼吁大家不要沉迷手机,学会理性使用科技。Connor老师点评道,他的演讲主题鲜明、举例丰富,英语表达自然、台风稳定,鼓励他继续保持良好的节奏感。


Liu Yincheng(Spike) from Class 8E used Technology and Life as his theme, introducing the positive changes made by technology in health, safety and life efficiency. From smart watches to smart home devices, he vividly showed how technology has integrated into all aspects of people’s lives, while also calling on everyone not to be addicted to mobile phones and learn to use technology rationally. Teacher Connor commented that his speech had a clear theme, rich examples, natural English expression and stable stage demeanor; and encouraged him to continue maintaining a good rhythm.

来自8I班陈昱安(Andy)与邹辰阳(Luffy)同学合作完成了《AI and Life》的主题演讲。他们结合人工智能在学习、生活与健康领域的应用,分享了AI带来的便利与可能性,同时也坦诚指出AI仍存在局限性,需要人类不断完善并智慧地使用它。Ryan老师称赞两人配合默契、案例真实,展现了良好的合作意识与思辨能力,同时鼓励他们未来进一步提升语音语调的表现力。


Chen Yu'an(Andy) and Zou Chenyang(Luffy) from Class 8I co-delivered a themed speech AI and Life. Combining the applications of artificial intelligence in the education, life, and health fields, they shared on the conveniences and possibilities brought by AI, while also frankly pointing out that AI still has limitations and needs continuous improvement and wise usage by humans. Teacher Ryan praised the two for their tacit cooperation and real examples, demonstrating good teamwork and critical thinking ability, and encouraged them to further enhance the expressiveness of their pronunciation and intonation in the future.

7I班常非凡(Payton)同学以《Protecting the Environment with Technology》为题,将科技与环境保护相结合。他通过空气污染、资源浪费等现实问题引出绿色科技的重要意义,并号召同学们从节约用电、使用环保产品等小事做起,共同守护地球家园。Connor老师点评道,他将科技发展与环境保护联系起来,体现了新时代少年对社会问题的关注与责任感,同时鼓励他未来用更加清晰洪亮的声音大胆展示自己。


Chang Feifan(Payton) from Class 7I gave a speech titled Protecting the Environment with Technology, combining technology with environmental protection. He introduced the significance of green technology through real-world problems such as air pollution and resource waste, and called on students to start with small things like saving electricity and using eco-friendly products to jointly protect our planet. Teacher Connor commented that his connection between technological development and environmental protection reflected the concern and sense of responsibility of teenagers in the new era towards social issues, and encouraged him to present himself more boldly with a clearer and louder voice in the future.

7C班练嫒(Christine)同学带来了《Faster or Warmer》的演讲。她以动画电影制作过程为切入点,探讨了科技与“温度”之间的关系,认为科技可以帮助人们提高效率,但真正打动人心的始终是作品中的情感与细节。她富有思辨性的表达,引发了现场同学们的深入思考。Ryan老师点评道,她的演讲视角新颖、思考深入,展现了富有感染力的内容设计,同时鼓励她在演讲节奏与表达流畅度上更加自如。


Lian Ai(Christine) from Class 7C delivered a speech titled Faster or Warmer. Starting with the production process of animated films, she explored the relationship between technology and “warmth”, believing that while technology can help people improve efficiency, what truly touches people’s hearts is the emotions and details in our works. Her thought-provoking expression triggered in-depth reflection among the students present. Teacher Ryan commented that her speech had a novel perspective and profound thinking, demonstrating appealing content design, and encouraged her to be more comfortable in her speech rhythm and expression fluency.

活动最后,评委老师为所有演讲者颁发证书并合影留念。镜头定格下的,不仅是同学们灿烂的笑容,更是他们对于未来世界的好奇、热爱与思考。


At the end of the event, the judges presented certificates to all the speakers and took a group photo. What the camera captured was not only the students’ bright smiles, but also their curiosity, love and thinking about the future world.

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次,学生自主报名参与,中文、英文均可,老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲,主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说,善思、善辩、善究。

 

The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.

 

E-talk的舞台是开放的,我们欢迎每一位VBS未来少年来到这里,站在聚光灯下,向世界展示自己的独特魅力;我们鼓励孩子们挑战自我,突破困境;我们相信,每一个孩子都有无限的潜力,只要他们有勇气站上舞台,就有可能成为真正的演讲者。

 

The stage of E-talk is open. We welcome every future teenager of VBS to come here, stand in the spotlight, and show their unique charm to the world; we encourage children to challenge themselves and break through difficulties; we believe that every child has unlimited potential. As long as they have the courage to stand on the stage, they may become real speakers.
