万双网讯  2026年5月11日，万科双语学校举行2025-2026学年第二学期第11周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由2O班负责，伍宸翰（Harry）和韩羽扬（Cassia）担任主持人，护旗任务由乐观探索，力争上游的2O班全体同学组成，他们共同完成了庄严的升旗环节。

On May 11th, 2026, the flag-raising ceremony for the eleventh week of the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year was held on the playground of Vanke Bilingual School. This ceremony was hosted by Class 2O. Students Wu Chenhan (Harry) and Han Yuyang (Cassia) served as the hosts. The goals of Class 2O are to “Be optimistic and outstanding”. All of the other students in Class 2O formed a flag color guard, and they carried out the solemn flag-raising ceremony in unison.

在国旗下讲话环节，刘智轩（William），黄杨月（Vicky），李希言（Cecilie）和王玥彤（Una）四位同学从母亲节的意义切入，细腻地讲述了母爱的故事。他们提到，母亲从我们出生起便无微不至的守护：跌倒时的搀扶、难过时的拥抱、成长路上的每一次鼓励。他们将母爱比作太阳与大地——不求回报地给予光和热，稳稳托住生命的成长。四位同学用真挚的语言，将这份世界上最无私的情感，化作了国旗下最动人的告白。

During the speech segment under the national flag, Liu Zhixuan (William), Huang Yangyue (Vicky), Li Xiyan (Cecilie), and Wang Yuetong (Una) shared heartfelt stories of a mother's love. They reflected on the gentle care mothers have given their children since birth—lifting us when we fall, embracing us when we are sad, and encouraging us as we grow. They compared maternal love to the sun and the earth, giving light and warmth without asking for anything in return. Their sincere words beneath the national flag became a touching tribute to the world's most selfless love.

演讲中，四位同学发出倡议：感恩母亲不必依赖昂贵礼物，一个笑容、一个亲吻、一张贺卡便是最好的回馈；更重要的是，用倾听、分担家务和认真学习来践行感恩。他们在国旗下郑重承诺珍惜母爱，并向所有妈妈、奶奶及每一位如妈妈般守护我们的人送上节日祝福。这场演讲温暖了全场，也让“母爱是世界上最珍贵的礼物”深植人心。

The students encouraged everyone that thanking our mothers doesn't require expensive gifts—a smile, a kiss, or a handmade card is enough. More importantly, they urged everyone to show gratitude by listening, helping with chores, and studying hard. They made a promise beneath the flag to cherish their mothers' love and wished happiness to all mothers, grandmothers, and motherly figures who care for us. The speech warmed the audience and left a lasting impression: that a mother's love is the world's most precious gift.

在“书记话时事”环节，第一书记董爱霞老师带来了主题为“绝境方显韧劲，拼搏方见荣光”的分享。董老师以刚刚落幕的伦敦世乒赛为切入点，与全校师生分享了本届世乒赛中中国队斩获男女团双冠，男团实现十二连冠的辉煌战绩。然而，比金牌更震撼人心的，是国乒将士们在绝境中永不言弃的精神——男团半决赛上梁靖崑在首局1比11落后的绝境下，顶住伤病与重压，连扳三局逆转强敌，为中国队拼下关键一分。这一幕，被媒体誉为“绝境铸就‘大心脏’”。

During the "Secretary’s Talk on Current Affairs" segment, First Secretary Teacher Dong Aixia delivered a talk titled "Resilience Emerges in Desperate Situations, and Glory Shines Through Perseverance." Starting with the recently concluded London World Table Tennis Championships, she shared with all the teachers and students the brilliant achievements of the Chinese team, who secured both the men's and women's team titles, with the men's team claiming their 12th consecutive championship. However, what struck a deeper chord than the gold medals was the indomitable spirit of the Chinese table tennis players in the face of adversity—particularly in the men's team semifinal, where Liang Jingkun, trailing 1-11 in the first game, overcame injury and immense pressure to win three consecutive games and stage a comeback against a formidable opponent, securing a crucial point for the Chinese team. This moment was hailed by the media as an example of "a great heart forged in desperate circumstances."

董老师进一步指出，从刘国正到梁靖崑，国乒用一次次“向死而生”证明：没有天生的强者，只有不肯认输的坚持。她特别强调，九年级的孩子，距离中考仅剩一个多月，或许有人觉得大局已定，但赛场不到最后一分，永远没有既定结局。她鼓励大家打破自我设限、稳住心态，因为不到终场哨响，一切皆有可能。

Teacher Dong further pointed out that from Liu Guozheng to Liang Jingkun, the Chinese table tennis team has proven time and again through their "life-and-death" comebacks that no one is born a champion—it is the refusal to admit defeat that makes all the difference. She particularly emphasized to the ninth-grade students, who are just over a month away from their high school entrance examinations, that although some may feel that the outcome is already decided, the match is never over until the final point is played. She encouraged everyone to break through their self-imposed limitations and maintain a steady mindset, because until the final whistle blows, anything is possible.

仪式最后，胡雅琼老师宣读了第8-10周获得“金海豚”荣誉的班级名单。蒋雪莹老师、刘玲玲老师和张君婷老师为获奖班级颁奖。

At the end of the ceremony, Teacher Hu Yaqiong announced the classes that won the“Golden Dolphin”honor for Weeks 8 through 10. Teachers Jiang Xueying, Liu Lingling, and Zhang Junting presented the awards to the winning classes.

庄严的国旗下，感恩与拼搏同频共振。本周升旗仪式在温暖与激昂中落下帷幕，而母爱的回响与拼搏的号角，将继续在万双校园的每一个角落久久回荡。

Under the solemn national flag, gratitude and perseverance pulsed together. This week's flag-raising ceremony ended with warmth and inspiration, but the echoes of maternal love and the call to strive will continue to resonate across every corner of the VBS campus.

In the early hours of this morning, the London World Table Tennis Championships came to a close, with the Chinese team claiming both the men's and women's team titles, and the men's team securing their 12th consecutive championship. In the finals, the Chinese team swept Japan 3-0, with Liang Jingkun staging a comeback to secure the first point, followed by Wang Chuqin and Lin Shidong who continued the team’s winning streak. Yet beneath the glory of these championship results, what strikes the deepest chord is the never-give-up fighting spirit of the Chinese table tennis team. Today, using this event as a starting point, I would like to share with all of you the meaning of perseverance and hard work.

Dear students, our learning never goes smoothly. This is especially true for our ninth graders, with just over a month remaining before the high school entrance examination. Perhaps some may feel that the outcome is already determined and beyond their control. The same holds true for the upcoming high school entrance examination. The remaining days are not the final chapter and a foregone conclusion, but an opportunity to turn the tide.
