万双网讯  2026年4月13日，万科双语学校举行2025-2026学年第二学期第7周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由6C班负责，刘苏瑶（Vicky）和王家祺（Jessie）担任主持人，护旗任务由团结友爱，积极进取的6C班全体同学组成。学力卓越，勇敢创新是6C班的目标，他们共同完成了庄严的升旗环节。

On April 13th, 2026, the flag-raising ceremony for the seventh week of the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year was held on the playground of Vanke Bilingual School. This ceremony was hosted by Class 6C, who are united, friendly, and proactive. Students Liu Suyao (Vicky) and Wang Jiaqi (Jessie) served as the hosts. Academic excellence and courageous innovation are the goals of Class 6C. All of the other students in Class 6C formed a flag color guard, and they carried out the solemn flag-raising ceremony in unison.

在国旗下讲话环节，潘彦廷（Oscar）、黄列泓（Leon）、曹嘉树（Joshua）和王子谦（Jeffrey）四位同学带来了题为“以少年之肩，担国安之责”的演讲。他们围绕第十一个全民国家安全教育日“统筹发展和安全，护航‘十五五’新征程”的主题，向全校师生分享了对国家安全的深刻理解。

During the speech segment under the national flag, Pan Yanting (Oscar), Huang Liehong (Leon), Cao Jiashu (Joshua), and Wang Ziqian (Jeffrey) delivered a speech titled "Shouldering the Responsibility for National Security as Young Pioneers." Centering on the theme of the 11th National Security Education Day — "Coordinating Development and Security to Safeguard the New Journey of the 15th Five-Year Plan" — they shared their profound understanding of national security with all teachers and students.

四位同学指出，国家安全并非遥不可及，而如空气般无形却至关重要，关乎我们呼吸的空气、饮用的水源、安稳的校园环境和家人的平安喜乐。他们号召同学们从树立国家安全意识做起，认真学习《国家安全法》等法律法规，在日常生活中文明上网、保护个人信息，遵守校园秩序、注意安全规范，同时传承中华优秀文化、维护国家荣誉。他们强调，关注和重视国家安全是新时代少年践行爱国初心、书写青春担当的起点，希望每一位同学将爱国情、强国志、报国行融入日常，让国家安全的种子在心底深深扎根、慢慢生长。

The four students pointed out that national security is not something distant or unattainable, but something as invisible and essential as the air we breathe. It encompasses the fresh air we breathe, the clean water we drink, the safe learning environment on campus, and the well-being and happiness of our families. They called on their fellow students to start by building awareness of national security, to seriously study relevant laws and regulations such as the National Security Law, to use the internet responsibly by protecting personal data and staying away from harmful information, to follow school rules and safety guidelines daily, and to carry forward China's fine traditional culture while safeguarding its national honor. They emphasized that paying attention to and valuing national security is where young people of the new era begin to live with patriotism and fulfill their youthful responsibilities. They hoped that every student would integrate their love for the country, have the ambition to strengthen it, and make sure that their actions can serve towards it in their daily lives, allowing the seeds of national security to take deep root and grow steadily in everyone’s hearts.

在“书记话时事”环节，第一书记董爱霞老师以“雪龙归航，逐梦南极”为题，与全校师生分享了振奋人心的科考喜讯。她指出，中国第42次南极考察队“雪龙”号极地科考破冰船已于4月9日顺利返回上海，载誉凯旋。去年11月，“雪龙”号与“雪龙2”号从上海出发，历经160天、航行3.4万余海里，克服复杂冰情与恶劣海况，圆满完成了所有考察任务。

During the “Secretary’s Talk on Current Affairs” segment, First Secretary Teacher Dong Aixia delivered a talk titled "The Snow Dragon Returns: Chasing the Dream of Antarctica," sharing the exciting news of the scientific expedition with all the teachers and students. She pointed out that China's polar icebreaker Xuelong, or Snow Dragon, returned to its home port in Shanghai on April 9, triumphant in its mission. Last November, Xuelong and Xuelong 2 departed from Shanghai. After 160 days of arduous journeying, sailing over 34,000 nautical miles, overcoming complex ice conditions and harsh weather, they successfully completed all of the expedition’s tasks.

Teacher Dong emphasized that the expedition members, with their fearlessness in the face of extreme cold, their courage to explore, and their resilience, innovation, and sense of responsibility, are worthy of being studied by every student. She called on everyone to integrate this spirit into their daily lives, to study diligently, to strive courageously, and to take the expedition members as role models. She encouraged students to set a solid foundation in their scientific knowledge and hone their skills in order to contribute to the nation's development when they grow up, so that the Five-Starred Red Flag will fly high in more places around the world.

The Snow Dragon Returns: Chasing the Dream of Antarctica

大家早上好！当朝阳洒满校园，五星红旗冉冉升起，我们共同迎来充满希望的一周。今天，我又要和大家分享一则振奋人心的好消息——中国第42次南极考察队“雪龙”号极地科考破冰船，于4月9日顺利返回上海，载誉凯旋！

Good morning, everyone! As the morning sun bathes our campus and the five-starred red flag rises slowly, we welcome together a week full of hope. Today, I am once again sharing some exciting news with all of you—the icebreaker Xuelong (Snow Dragon), part of China's 42th Antarctic expedition team, successfully returned to Shanghai on April 9th, triumphant with success!

还记得去年11月，“雪龙”号与“雪龙2”号从上海出发，肩负着探索南极的使命，驶向遥远的冰雪大陆。历经160天的风雨兼程，航行3.4万余海里，“雪龙”号克服了复杂冰情、恶劣海况和极寒天气等重重困难，圆满完成了所有考察任务，带着丰硕成果平安归来，而“雪龙2”号仍在南极继续执行科考任务，预计5月下旬返程。

Last November, the Xuelong and Xuelong 2 departed from Shanghai, carrying the mission of exploring Antarctica and sailing along the distant icy continent. After 160 days of arduous journeying, traveling over 34,000 nautical miles, the Xuelong overcame numerous difficulties including complex ice conditions, harsh sea states, and extreme cold weather, to successfully complete all of its expedition tasks, returning safely with fruitful results. Meanwhile, the Xuelong 2 remains in Antarctica to continue its scientific mission, and is expected to return in late May.

这次考察，由来自国内外125家单位的550名队员组成，人员规模、物资量和任务量都创下了新高。队员们在南极的冰天雪地里，完成了61个重点海域的综合调查，收放14套潜标，还为三个越冬考察站提供了物资补给和人员运送，支撑了45项国家科技计划项目的现场实施，用坚守与实干书写了中国极地科考的新辉煌。

This expedition was composed of 550 members from 125 units both at home and abroad, setting new records in terms of team size, material supplies, and mission workload. In the icy wilderness of Antarctica, the team completed comprehensive surveys of 61 key sea areas, deployed and recovered 14 sets of sub-surface buoys, provided material supplies and personnel transport for three year-round research stations, and supported the on-site implementation of 45 national science and technology programs. With perseverance and solid work, they have written a new glorious chapter in China's polar expedition history.

更值得我们骄傲的是，本次考察取得了五大突破：国产雪豹6×6轮式载具，完成南极内陆1万多公里测试，填补我国南极地面人员快速运送与应急救援装备空白；南极热水钻探实验，成功完成我国首次实验，钻探深度3413米，创国际极地热水钻探最深记录；雪鹰601固定翼飞机，开辟新的南极洲内转场航线；生物光学前标模块等新型自研装备相继投用，获取了大量关键样品和数据，成果丰硕。从曾经没有南极考察站的被动，到如今在南极频频实现突破，中国科考人用奋斗诠释了爱国与坚守。

Even more proudly, this expedition achieved five major breakthroughs: the domestically-produced Snow Leopard 6×6 wheeled vehicle completed over 10,000 kilometers of testing in the Antarctic interior, filling a gap in China's equipment arsenal for rapid ground personnel transport and emergency rescue; the Antarctic hot water drilling experiment was China's first successful attempt, reaching a depth of 3,413 meters and setting a new world record for the deepest hot water drilling in polar regions; the Snow Eagle 601 fixed-wing aircraft opened up a new intra-Antarctic transfer route; other newly self-developed equipment such as the bio-optical forward marker module were successively put into use, obtaining a large amount of key samples and data with fruitful results. Chinese polar researchers have made great progress and demonstrated patriotism and perseverance through their hard work by reaching all of these milestones.
