万双网讯  2026年4月7日，万科双语学校举行2025-2026学年第二学期第6周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由1O班负责，郑琳姝（Elsa）和王洪一（Lucas）担任主持人，护旗任务由乐观积极的1O班全体同学组成。团结一心，乐观前行是1O班的目标，他们共同完成了庄严的升旗环节。

On April 7th, 2026, the flag-raising ceremony for the sixth week of the second semester of the 2025-2026 academic year was held on the playground of Vanke Bilingual School. This ceremony was hosted by the optimistic and positive Class 1O. Students Zheng Linshu (Elsa) and Wang Hongyi (Lucas) served as the hosts. The goal of Class 1O is uniting as one and moving forward optimistically. All of the other students in Class 1O formed a flag color guard, and they carried out the solemn flag-raising ceremony in unison.

在国旗下讲话环节，吴嘉雯（Gabby）和张旌琳（Aileen）两位同学以“未来少年的学习之道”为主题，带来了一场充满朝气与思考的演讲。她们首先引用学校的培养目标——培养“身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越，具有家国情怀和国际视野，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”，并以此为框架，层层展开阐述。

During the speech segment under the national flag, Wu Jiawen (Gabby) and Zhang Jinglin (Aileen) delivered a speech full of vitality and thoughtful reflection with the theme of "How Future Kids Learn." They began by citing the school's educational goal—to cultivate students to become "citizens of China with good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism, international vision, and the courage to create a better future", and used this goal as a framework to elaborate on their ideas step by step.

在身体健康方面，她们呼吁同学们认真上好体育课、课间多活动、早睡早起，把身体练得结结实实；在人格健全方面，强调要学会与同学和睦相处、合作分享，做有礼貌、有爱心的好孩子；在学力方面，指出学习不仅是为了考试高分，更要爱动脑筋、敢于提问，在课堂上认真听讲、大胆举手；在家国情怀与国际视野方面，她们既表达了对祖国的热爱和将来为祖国做贡献的决心，也提出要学习其他国家的优点，做有眼光的小公民。最后，她们号召全体同学把自己的成长与祖国的未来紧紧连在一起，从小立志，做对国家有用的人，共同努力成为万双的好少年。

In terms of physical health, they called on students to take PE classes seriously, stay active during breaks, go to bed and wake up early, and build a strong and healthy body. In terms of having a sound personality, they emphasized the importance of getting along well with classmates, cooperating and sharing with others, and being polite and caring. In terms of academic abilities, they pointed out that learning is not just about getting high scores on exams, but also about using one's mind, daring to ask questions, listening attentively in class, and boldly raising your hand. In terms of patriotism and having an international vision, they expressed their love for the motherland and their determination to contribute to the country's future, while also proposing to learn from the strengths of other nations to become young citizens with a broad perspective. 在“书记话时事”环节，第一书记董爱霞老师带来题为“绘就十五五新图景，少年奋进启新篇”的演讲。她指出，今年是“十五五”开局之年，国家已明确2026至2030年涵盖交通、生态、科技、农业、民生等领域的发展蓝图：交通上，沿江高铁贯通、“八纵八横”基本建成；生态上，绿色低碳成新亮点；科技上，人形机器人量产、6G商用、数智化覆盖全工业大类；民生上，智慧农业普及，银发经济、优质医疗资源持续优化，发展成果全民共享。

During the “Secretary’s Talk on Current Affairs” segment, First Secretary Teacher Dong Aixia delivered a talk titled “Painting a New Vision for the 15th Five-Year Plan and Letting the Youth Forge Ahead to Start a New Chapter.” She pointed out that this year marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and the country has clearly outlined its developmental blueprint for 2026 to 2030, covering key areas such as transportation, ecology, technology, agriculture, and people's livelihoods. In transportation, the Yangtze River high-speed railway will be fully connected, and the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network will be largely completed. In ecology, green and low-carbon energy development has become a new highlight. Teacher Dong emphasized that these visions are not unreachable castles in the sky, but clear goals set out in the 15th Five-Year Plan, embodying Chinese wisdom and the hard work of our builders, with every change reflecting the strength of a great power. She encouraged the students with great confidence, saying that through everyone's joint efforts, the wonderful vision for 2030 will eventually come true. She hopes that students will cherish their time on campus, diligently acquire knowledge and skills, keep their country close to their hearts, strive to grow into a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation, and use their youth to add brilliance to the country's grand blueprint.

At the end of the ceremony, Teacher Hu Yaqiong read out the guidelines for the upcoming visit of teachers and students from VBS's sister school in Hong Kong—the AD & FD of Pok Oi Hospital Mrs Cheng Yam On School—who will be here this Thursday and Friday for a two-day overnight exchange program. Teacher. Hu mentioned that this time, Hong Kong students will truly step into VBS classrooms, sweat together with VBS students on the basketball court and the soccer field, and exchange ideas and thoughts in the classroom. 我是1O班的吴嘉雯，她是1O班的张旌琳。今天我们在国旗下讲话的题目是《未来少年的学习之道》。

 She is Gabby and I’m Aileen from Class 1O. Today we want to talk about“How Future Kids Learn”.

每一个小朋友都是未来的希望。学习，就是我们长大、变厉害的路。

Every kid is the hope of the future, and studying helps us grow up and be great.

我们学校的培养目标是：培养（成为）身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越，具有家国情怀和国际视野，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民。这一目标，为我们指明了成长的方向，也告诉我们未来少年应有的学习之道。

The education goal of our school is that our students will become citizens of China with good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism, international vision, and the courage to create a better future. This goal tells us how to grow and learn.

所以，未来少年的学习之道是什么呢？

So, how should future kids learn?

第一，身体要好。我们要认真上体育课，课间多活动，早睡早起，把身体练得结结实实的。

First, keep our bodies healthy. Listen carefully in PE class. Play safely at break time. Go to sleep and wake up early. Make our body strong.

第二，心里要健康。我们要学会和同学好好相处，一起玩、一起合作，做个有礼貌、有爱心的好孩子。

Second, keep our hearts happy. Get on well with classmates. Play and work together. Be a good kid.

第三，学习要用心。学习不只是考试得高分，更是要爱动脑筋、爱问问题。上课认真听讲，大胆举手，不会就问，让自己越来越聪明。

Third, study hard. Studying is not just for high scores. We need to listen carefully in class, think and raise our hands to ask questions. Become smarter and smarter.

第四，爱祖国，也看世界。我们要记得自己是中国的小朋友，长大要为祖国做贡献。同时也要学习别的国家好的地方，做个有眼光的小公民。

This Thursday and Friday, teachers and students from our sister school—the AD & FD of Pok Oi Hospital Mrs Cheng Yam On School—will visit VBS for a two-day overnight exchange activity.

在此之前，两校的老师已经多次互访，结下了深厚的友谊。而这一周意义更加特别——香港郑任安夫人学校的同学们将真正走进我们的校园，走进万双的课堂，和我们一起在篮球场上挥洒汗水，在绿茵场上追逐友谊，在课堂里碰撞思想的火花。

In the past, teachers from both schools have visited each other many times and built a deep friendship. This week will be especially meaningful: students from Hong Kong will truly step into our campus, join our classes, sweat with us on the basketball court, pursue friendship on the football field, and inspire each other with ideas in class.
