万双网讯 “神话节的大门正式向大家敞开!让我们一起走进去,用想象唤醒那些古老的故事和神奇的人物,让这一切在我们手中生长出全新的、无限的可能!祝大家神话节快乐!”2026年1月29日,VBS第五届神话节在杨帆校长的寄语中拉开帷幕。本届神话节以“神话无界,文明共生,文化自信”为主题,通过开幕式、沉浸式剧本杀、多元主题工作坊与众神美食街等一系列活动,构建了一幅融汇东西、贯穿古今的文化全景。
“The gates of the Myth Festival are now officially open to all! Let’s step inside together, use our imagination to awaken those ancient tales and magical figures, and allow all of this to grow into brand new, infinite possibilities in our hands! Wish everyone a happy Myth Festival!” On January 29, 2026, the 5th VBS Myth Festival commenced with Principal Yang Fan’s opening address. Centered on the theme “Myths Beyond Borders, Civilizations Coexisting, Cultural Confidence,” this year’s festival constructed a cultural panorama that Integrates East and West, past and present, through a series of events including the opening ceremony, immersive script murder games, diverse themed workshops, and a “Divine Flavors” food street.
从“天人合一”的创世诗篇到“神话无界”的文明交响
From Creation Epics of “Unity of Heaven and Man” to Civilization Symphonies of “Myths Beyond Borders”

当低沉混沌的音效响起,舞台并未急于展示文明的斑斓,而是选择回归“天地玄黄,宇宙洪荒”的原点。一场以《盘古开天地》为主题的情景舞剧,为神话节开幕式揭开序幕。该节目通过极具张力的肢体语言与象征性舞台表达,再现了从混沌初开到化身万物的创世过程:盘古开天的决绝、顶天立地的坚毅与身躯化生万物的牺牲,将神话叙事升华为一幕充满创意与哲思的视觉诗篇。
As deep, chaotic sound effects resonated, the stage did not rush to display the splendor of civilizations but chose to return to the primordial origin of “heaven and earth in primeval chaos, the universe in desolation.” A scenario dance drama themed “Pangu, Creator of the World” kicked off the opening ceremony of the Myth Festival. Through highly expressive body language and symbolic stage expressions, the program reproduced the creation process from the initial separation of chaos to the transformation of Pangu’s body into all things: Pangu’s determination to split heaven and earth, his perseverance in holding up heaven and earth, and his sacrifice in turning his body into all living things elevated the mythological narrative into a visual poem full of creativity and philosophical thinking.


随后,杨帆校长身着观音菩萨的服饰为本次神话节致辞。她指出,神话背后蕴含着不同民族对世界的认知智慧,理解中国神话能让我们追溯“天人合一”等文化思想的根源,接触其他文明神话则有助于我们“学会欣赏多样的美”,成为兼具文化自信与全球视野的中国公民。致辞中,杨校还特别感谢了为活动贡献创意的各年级学生以及默默付出的师生家长,并寄语全体同学在这场跨越时空的文明对话中,以“站在未来中央”的使命感,运用当代的科技、艺术与智慧,让古老神话焕发新的生命力,共同创造美好未来。
Subsequently, Principal Yang Fan delivered a speech for the Myth Festival dressed as Guanyin Bodhisattva. She pointed out that behind myths lie the cognitive wisdom of different nations towards the world. Understanding Chinese myths allows us to trace the roots of cultural ideas such as “Unity of Heaven and Man”, while contacting myths of other civilizations helps us “learn to appreciate the beauty of diversity” and become Chinese citizens with both cultural confidence and global perspective. In her speech, Principal Yang also specially thanked students of all grades who contributed ideas to the event and teachers, students and parents who made silent efforts. She encouraged all students to, in this civilization dialogue transcending time and space, with a sense of mission of “standing at the center of the future”, use contemporary technology, art and wisdom to endow ancient myths with new vitality and jointly create a better future.

最后登场的《英雄联盟秀》节目,将文明对话从理念推向了生动的舞台实践。二郎神与雷神,同样执掌雷霆,守护的意境却相互映照;女娲与雅典娜,皆为文明奠基,智慧的光芒各显其彩……这绝非简单的角色展示,而是一场精心架构的“跨时空对话”。中英双语的小解说员以清晰而富有思辨的语言,精准诠释着每组配对背后的哲学命题——关于守护与叛逆、智慧与规则、情感的不同表达。观众透过华丽的服饰与神通,得以直抵不同文明叙事深处,感受人类共通的情感结构与价值追求。这场特别的展演,正是“文化自信”最生动的写照:年轻一代以主人的姿态,从容梳理、并置、诠释全球文化遗产,让古老的智慧在当代青春的舞台上,碰撞出新的和鸣。
The final program “League of Legends Show” pushed the dialogue of civilizations from concept to vivid stage practice. Erlang Shen and Thor, both in charge of thunder and lightning, mirrored each other in the meaning of guardianship; Nvwa and Athena, both laying the foundation for civilization, shone with different lights of wisdom... This was by no means a simple character display, but a carefully constructed “cross-temporal dialogue”. Young commentators in both Chinese and English, with clear and speculative language, accurately interpreted the philosophical propositions behind each pair—about guardianship and rebellion, wisdom and rules, and different expressions of emotions. Through gorgeous costumes and supernatural powers, the audience was able to reach the depths of different civilization narratives and feel the common emotional structures and value pursuits of humanity. This special performance was the most vivid portrayal of “cultural confidence”: the younger generation, with the attitude of masters, calmly sorted out, juxtaposed and interpreted global cultural heritage, allowing ancient wisdom to collide with new harmonies on the stage of contemporary youth.










从“五行调解”的密室思辨到“神话再造”的多元工坊
From Secret Room Speculation in “Five Elements Reconciliation” to Diversified Workshops in “Myth Reconstruction”
如果开幕式是在宏观层面展开文明对话,那么紧随其后、分层展开的活动板块,则将这场对话引向了深度、广度与温度兼备的沉浸式探索:4-9年级学生通过《文明调和者》剧本杀与《元素猎手》工作坊,在思辨与创造中深度探索文明对话;3年级的学生,则在学长学姐精心设计的《穹衡录》剧本杀中亲历神话冒险,并通过“演神话”与“神话人物你比我猜”的互动,让古老的神话在笑声与想象中变得可触可感;1-2年级的孩子们,则在专属的“神话帐篷”里,于温馨的讲述中开启了他们最初的神话启蒙之旅。
If the opening ceremony launched the dialogue of civilizations at a macro level, then the subsequent activity sections carried out in layers led this dialogue to an immersive exploration with depth, breadth and warmth: Students from Grades 4 to 9 conducted in-depth exploration of civilization dialogue through the script murder game “Civilization Mediators” and the “Element Hunters” workshops in speculation and creation; Students from Grade 3 experienced mythological adventures in the “Qiongheng Record” script murder game carefully designed by senior students, and through interactions such as “performing myths” and “guessing mythological characters through gestures”, made ancient myths tangible and perceptible in laughter and imagination; Children from Grades 1 to 2 embarked on their initial mythological enlightenment journey in exclusive “Myth Tents” through warm storytelling.




深度思辨:《文明调和者》——在五行密室中践行“和而不同”的共生智慧
In-depth Speculation: “Civilization Mediators” — Practicing the Symbiotic Wisdom of “Harmony in Diversity” in Five Elements Secret Rooms
《文明调和者》剧本杀以“金木水火土”五行智慧为哲学框架,在五个主题密室中构建了十组东西方神祇的理念冲突场域。
Taking the philosophical framework of the Five Elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth) wisdom, the script murder game “Civilization Mediators” constructed 10 fields of ideological conflicts between Eastern and Western gods and goddesses in five themed secret rooms.
学生们化身为“文明调和者”,深入每个密室的核心矛盾,例如:在“火之密室”调解祝融“秩序延续”的文明之火与赫菲斯托斯“变革创造”的锻造之火;在“木之密室”平衡句芒“道法自然”的沉静韵律与德墨忒尔“主动馈赠”的急切干预。整个体验遵循“冲突-搜证-和解”的经典叙事结构,引导学生从见证对峙、探究根源,到最终通过亲手书写“共生契约”促成和解。
Students transformed into “civilization mediators” and delved into the core contradictions of each secret room. For example, mediating Zhu Rong’s “fire of civilization for the continuation of order” and Hephaestus’ “fire of forging for reform and creation” in the “Fire Secret Room”; balancing Jumang’s “calm rhythm of following the way of nature” and Demeter’s “eager intervention of active giving” in the “Wood Secret Room”. The entire experience followed the classic narrative structure of “conflict - evidence collection - reconciliation”, guiding students from witnessing confrontation, exploring the root causes, to finally promoting reconciliation by personally writing a “Symbiosis Covenant”.
这一过程模拟了跨文化理解的真实路径:它并非寻求单一答案,而是培养在差异中构建共识、在对话中实现共生的“调解者心智”。当学生们手持自己促成的契约走出密室,他们获得的不仅是一枚徽章,更是一种面对多元世界时可贵的思想方法与行动能力。
This process simulated the real path of cross-cultural understanding: it did not seek a single answer, but cultivated a “mediator’s mindset” of building consensus in differences and achieving symbiosis through dialogue. When students walked out of the secret rooms holding the covenants they promoted, they gained not only a badge, but also a valuable way of thinking and acting when facing a diverse world.


多元创造:《元素猎手》工作坊——在跨界实践中展开神话的创意重构
Diversified Creation: “Element Hunters” Workshops — Carrying Out Creative Reconstruction of Myths in Cross-boundary Practice
与密室中聚焦、深度的思辨相呼应,遍布校园的34个《元素猎手》主题工作坊,则提供了一个自由、开放、跨界的创造性舞台。这里,神话褪去其古老与遥远的面纱,化身为可编程、可实验、可塑造、可辩论的鲜活素材。
Corresponding to the focused and in-depth speculation in the secret rooms, 34 “Element Hunters” themed workshops scattered across the campus provided a free, open and cross-boundary creative stage. Here, myths shed their ancient and distant veil and transformed into vivid materials that can be programmed, experimented, shaped and debated.
工作坊巧妙地打破了学科壁垒,让神话成为连接不同知识领域的“催化剂”。学生们可以在“光电实验室”亲手“把闪电握在手心”,用物理公式验证神话奇观;在“编程营地”用图形化代码重演普罗米修斯“盗火”的壮举;在“思辨殿堂”围绕“谁动了天火与五彩石”展开伦理激辩。同时,从“七巧织梦”的编织、“神农香囊”的手作,到“粘土精灵”的塑造,传统工艺与艺术表达也让神话变得可触可感。
The workshops cleverly broke down disciplinary boundaries, making myths a “catalyst” connecting different knowledge fields. Students could personally “hold lightning in their hands” in the “Optoelectronics Laboratory” and verify mythological wonders with physical formulas; reproduce Prometheus’ feat of “stealing fire” with graphical code in the “Coding Camp”; and launch ethical debates around “Who Took the Heavenly Fire and Five-colored Stones” in the “Hall of Critical Thinking”. At the same time, from the weaving of “Seven-piece Puzzle Dream Weaving”, the handcrafting of “Shennong Sachets”, to the shaping of “Clay Elves”, traditional crafts and artistic expressions also made myths tangible and perceptible.
这是一场 “从神话的接受者到神话的创造者”的身份转变。学生不再只是聆听故事,而是通过亲手创造,将古老的文化基因进行个性化“转录”与“表达”。每个工作坊都是一个微型的文化创新项目,让参与者在动手实践中,真正实现“在指尖触碰神话”,将厚重的文化遗产转化为属于自己的、具有当代意义的作品。
This was an identity transformation “from recipients of myths to creators of myths”. Instead of just listening to stories, students carried out personalized “transcription” and “expression” of ancient cultural genes through personal creation. Each workshop was a micro cultural innovation project, allowing participants to truly realize “touching myths with their fingertips” through hands-on practice and transform profound cultural heritage into their own works with contemporary significance.






神话启蒙:“双界契”与“神话帐篷”——在生生共创中传递文明火种
Mythological Enlightenment: “Covenant of Two Realms” and “Myth Tents” — Passing on the Torch of Civilization in Co-creation
一至二年级的孩子们,在花园平台搭建的数顶“神话故事帐篷”里,开启了一场温暖而专注的神话启蒙。这里没有复杂的规则,也无需紧张的闯关,只有一位位小讲述者,用他们生动的语言,将《孙悟空大闹天宫》《嫦娥奔月》《女娲造人》等经典故事娓娓道来。孩子们围坐在一起,随着情节的推进时而屏息凝神,时而发出惊叹与欢笑。这不仅仅是一次“听故事”的体验,更是在他们心中悄然播下了一颗理解自身文化的种子,为未来更深广的文明探索,奠定了最初的情感基石。
Children from Grades 1 to 2 embarked on a warm and focused mythological enlightenment journey in several “Myth Story Tents” set up on the garden platform. There were no complex rules or intense challenges here, only young storytellers who recounted classic stories such as “Sun Wukong’s Havoc in Heaven”, “Chang’e Flying to the Moon” and “Nvwa Creating Humans” in vivid language. The children sat around, holding their breath, exclaiming and laughing as the plot unfolded. This was not just an experience of “listening to stories”, but also sowing a seed of understanding their own culture in their hearts, laying the initial emotional foundation for broader exploration of civilization in the future.


在本次神话节中,一场由八年级学生为三年级学弟学妹量身打造的《穹衡录·双界契》剧本杀成为亮点。学长们自主设计了“天柱碎裂、集碎片拯救世界”的宏大剧情,融入跨学科解谜与阵营对抗,让小玩家们在沉浸式体验中锻炼协作与思维。三年级同学们还通过“演神话”和“神话人物你比我猜”游戏,以生动有趣的方式深入理解神话内涵。这场跨越年级的创意合作,让同学们在“创造”与“体验”的双重角色中,共同收获领导力、设计思维与成长的快乐。
In this Myth Festival, a script murder game “Qiongheng Record: Covenant of Two Realms” tailored by Grade 8 students for Grade 3 juniors and seniors became a highlight. The senior students independently designed a grand plot of “the sky pillar breaking, collecting fragments to save the world”, integrating interdisciplinary puzzles and camp confrontations, allowing young players to exercise collaboration and thinking in an immersive experience. Grade 3 students also gained a deep understanding of mythological connotations in a vivid and interesting way through “performing myths” and “guessing mythological characters through gestures” games. This cross-grade creative cooperation allowed students to gain leadership, design thinking and the joy of growth in the dual roles of “creation” and “experience”.


从“人间灶火”的温暖叙事到“诸神宴席”的文明共味
From the Warm Narrative of “Mortal Kitchen Fires” to the Civilization Feast of “Gods’ Banquet”
上午11时,备受瞩目的“众神美食体验区”于操场盛大开启!手持任务徽章的学生们踏入这片由家长精心构筑的“神话美食”长廊,开启了一场以味觉为载体的文明漫游。
At 11 a.m., the highly anticipated “Gods’ Food Experience Area” grandly opened on the playground! Students holding mission badges stepped into this corridor of “mythological food” carefully constructed by parents, starting a civilized journey with taste as the carrier.


每一处摊位皆是一则流动的传说:北方的馍坊蒸腾着人间烟火,龙宫鱼丸的鲜香穿越波涛而至,冰糖葫芦串起祥瑞,棉花糖叠成云境......寻常小吃在此被赋予神话的叙事,成为可品尝的传奇。
Each stall was a flowing legend: the steamed bun workshop in the north steamed with mortal fireworks, the fresh fragrance of dragon palace fish balls crossed the waves, rock sugar haws strung together auspicious omens, cotton candy stacked into cloud realms... Ordinary snacks were endowed with mythological narratives here, becoming edible legends.


家长们的巧思远不止于此——“舌尖上的西游”更将故事化入盘中:金箍棒化作酥脆薯条,铁扇凝为金针菇串,玉帝秘制翅与风火轮蛋糕相映成趣。在“神界元气补给站”中,卤蛋藏修炼之思,神火面燃文明之味。在“神话锻造工坊”里,蛋卷炼乳铸成“定海神针”,饼干海苔拼作“英雄之盾”,巧克力化为“宙斯雷霆”。食物在此超越滋味,成为触摸神话的媒介。
Parents’ ingenuity went far beyond this — “A Taste of Journey to the West” further integrated stories into the plates: the Golden Cudgel transformed into crispy French fries, the Iron Fan condensed into enoki mushroom skewers, the Jade Emperor’s secret braised wings and Fire Wheel cakes complemented each other. In the “Gods’ Vitality Supply Station”, marinated eggs contained the idea of cultivation, and divine fire noodles burned with the taste of civilization. In the “Myth Forging Workshop”, egg rolls with condensed milk were forged into “Sea-Calming Divine Needles”, biscuits and seaweed were assembled into “Heroes’ Shields”, and chocolate was transformed into “Zeus’ Thunderbolts”. Food transcended taste here and became a medium to touch myths.





从非遗擂茶的质朴手作,到森林精灵的坚果赠礼。从“诸神禁宴”中深渊八宝饭与德古拉“血饮”的创意碰撞到“中西茶荟”的对话绵长……这已不仅是一场美食体验,更是一次以味觉为舟、以创意为帆的跨文化航行。家长以食物书写神话,学生以徽章兑换故事,在品尝与交流之间,文明悄然交融,传说真正“活”在了每个人的舌尖与心间。
From the simple handcrafting of intangible cultural heritage Leicha (pounded tea), to the nut gifts of forest elves. From the creative collision of Abyss Eight-Treasure Rice and Dracula’s “Blood Drink” in the “Gods’ Forbidden Feast” to the long dialogue of “Chinese and Western Tea Gathering”... This was not just a food experience, but a cross-cultural voyage with taste as the boat and creativity as the sail. Parents wrote myths with food, and students exchanged stories with badges. Between tasting and communicating, civilizations quietly merged, and legends truly “came alive” on everyone’s tongue and in their hearts.

当神话节在味蕾的共鸣与思想的回响中落幕,“神话无界,文明共生”的种子已悄然播下。这场融合创世诗篇、英雄对话、密室思辨与创意工坊的沉浸式旅程,不仅让古老传说在当代校园里获得新生,更让年轻一代亲身体验了如何以开放胸襟和当代智慧,成为文明对话的践行者与创造者。神话节虽已结束,但文明的对话将在每一个参与者的心中持续生长,照亮通往未来的文化路径。
As the Myth Festival came to an end with the resonance of taste buds and the echo of ideas, the seeds of “Myths Beyond Borders, Civilizations Coexisting” have been quietly sown. This immersive journey integrating creation epics, hero dialogues, secret room speculation and creative workshops not only gave new life to ancient legends on the contemporary campus, but also allowed the younger generation to personally experience how to become practitioners and creators of civilization dialogue with an open mind and contemporary wisdom. Although the Myth Festival has ended, the dialogue of civilizations will continue to grow in the hearts of every participant, illuminating the cultural path towards the future.

亲爱的的各位老师、家长、同学们,中外大神们:大家早上好!
Dear teachers, parents, students, and all mythological deities at home and abroad, good morning!
今天是我们一年一度的“神话节”。首先,我代表学校,向精心筹备活动的老师们、大力支持的家长们表示衷心的感谢!
Today is our annual "Myth Festival". First of all, on behalf of the school, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the teachers who have carefully prepared this event and to the parents who have strongly supported it!
看到教学楼里新添的神话装饰,同学们手中特别的“仙家牌”和集章卡,相信大家已经感受到了浓浓的节日氛围,对自己报名的工作坊也充满期待。我今天扮演的是观音菩萨,佛教四大菩萨之一,源于古印度佛教,后随佛教东传,融入中国文化,衍生妙善公主等本土传说。我和大家一样,最早也是从《西游记》中认识的。观音菩萨以大慈大悲、救苦救难闻名,深受信众尊崇。我觉得我们做教育的人有责任做好教育,我们是在做一件最大的善事。
Looking at the new myth-themed decorations in the teaching buildings, and the special "immortal name cards" and stamp-collecting cards in the students' hands, I believe everyone has felt the strong festive atmosphere and is full of expectations for the workshops they signed up for. Today, I am dressed as Guanyin Bodhisattva, one of the Four Great Bodhisattvas in Buddhism. Known for great compassion and rescuing sentient beings from suffering, Guanyin Bodhisattva is deeply revered by believers. Originating from ancient Indian Buddhism, Guanyin Bodhisattva later spread eastward with Buddhism, integrated into Chinese culture, and gave birth to local legends such as Princess Miaoshan. Like all of you, I first got to know Guanyin Bodhisattva from *Journey to the West*. Known for great compassion and rescuing sentient beings from suffering, Guanyin Bodhisattva is deeply revered by believers. I believe we in education bear the responsibility to teach well—it is the greatest act of benevolence we can offer.
说起神话故事,咱们中国的盘古开天辟地、女娲造人,古希腊的普罗米修斯盗火,北欧神话里的诸神故事等,都深深吸引着我们。这些故事虽然充满幻想,好像现实不会发生,但它们背后体现的是不同民族对世界最初的认识,体现了人类的智慧和道德观念。了解中国神话,能让我们更懂自己文化里“天人合一”、“厚德载物”等思想的来源;接触其他文明的神话,能帮我们理解别人看世界的角度,让我们学会欣赏多样的美,感受不同文化的魅力。这既能让我们作为中国人更自信,也能让我们成为心胸更开阔的世界公民。
When it comes to mythological stories, China's Pangu Separating Heaven and Earth, Nüwa Creating Humans, Prometheus Stealing Fire in ancient Greek mythology, and the stories of gods and goddesses in Norse mythology all deeply attract us. Although these stories are full of fantasies and seem impossible in reality, they reflect the initial understanding of the world by different nations, as well as human wisdom and moral concepts. Understanding Chinese mythology helps us better grasp the origins of ideas in our own culture such as "harmony between humans and nature" and "upholding virtue and carrying things". Exposing ourselves to myths from other civilizations also enables us to understand how others perceive the world, learn to appreciate the beauty of diversity, and feel the charm of different cultures. This not only strengthens our confidence as Chinese people but also helps us become more open-minded global citizens.
我们今年神话节的主题是“神话无界,文明共生,文化自信”。“神话无界”是说,人类对世界的好奇和想象是相通的,好的故事能超越地理的界限。“文明共生”是希望同学们能以平等、尊重的心态,去看待和欣赏人类所有优秀的文化成果。而“文化自信”,是让中国古老传说在当代“活”过来,并赢得世界的掌声。当《哪吒》用东方美学震撼全球,当自贡的“年兽”借AI与人对话,我们便看到祖先最浪漫的想象,正是我们走向未来最酷的创造力源泉。
The theme of this year's Myth Festival is "Myths Beyond Borders, Civilizations Coexisting, Cultural Confidence". "Myths Beyond Borders" means that human curiosity and imagination about the world are universal, and good stories can transcend geographical boundaries. "Civilizations Coexisting" encourages students to view and appreciate all outstanding achievements of human culture with an attitude of equality and respect. "Cultural Confidence" means reviving Chinese ancient legends in the contemporary era and winning applause from the world. When *Ne Zha* stunned the globe with Eastern aesthetics, and when Zigong's "Year Beast" interacted with people through AI, we saw that the most romantic imaginations of our ancestors are precisely the coolest source of creativity for us to move towards the future.
我希望你们在这场跨越时空的文明对话中,听见属于自己的召唤,找到自己的位置;希望你们能以“站在未来中央”的使命感,思考如何运用这个时代的科技、艺术与智慧,让这些中外经典的神话以令人惊叹的全新面貌,去感动、影响世界,去创造人类更美好的未来。
I hope that in this cross-temporal dialogue of civilizations, you can hear your own calling and find your own position. 万双网讯 “神话节的大门正式向大家敞开!让我们一起走进去,用想象唤醒那些古老的故事和神奇的人物,让这一切在我们手中生长出全新的、无限的可能!祝大家神话节快乐!”2026年1月29日,VBS第五届神话节在杨帆校长的寄语中拉开帷幕。本届神话节以“神话无界,文明共生,文化自信”为主题,通过开幕式、沉浸式剧本杀、多元主题工作坊与众神美食街等一系列活动,构建了一幅融汇东西、贯穿古今的文化全景。
“The gates of the Myth Festival are now officially open to all! Let’s step inside together, use our imagination to awaken those ancient tales and magical figures, and allow all of this to grow into brand new, infinite possibilities in our hands! Wish everyone a happy Myth Festival!” On January 29, 2026, the 5th VBS Myth Festival commenced with Principal Yang Fan’s opening address. Centered on the theme “Myths Beyond Borders, Civilizations Coexisting, Cultural Confidence,” this year’s festival constructed a cultural panorama that Integrates East and West, past and present, through a series of events including the opening ceremony, immersive script murder games, diverse themed workshops, and a “Divine Flavors” food street.
从“天人合一”的创世诗篇到“神话无界”的文明交响
From Creation Epics of “Unity of Heaven and Man” to Civilization Symphonies of “Myths Beyond Borders”

当低沉混沌的音效响起,舞台并未急于展示文明的斑斓,而是选择回归“天地玄黄,宇宙洪荒”的原点。一场以《盘古开天地》为主题的情景舞剧,为神话节开幕式揭开序幕。该节目通过极具张力的肢体语言与象征性舞台表达,再现了从混沌初开到化身万物的创世过程:盘古开天的决绝、顶天立地的坚毅与身躯化生万物的牺牲,将神话叙事升华为一幕充满创意与哲思的视觉诗篇。
As deep, chaotic sound effects resonated, the stage did not rush to display the splendor of civilizations but chose to return to the primordial origin of “heaven and earth in primeval chaos, the universe in desolation.” A scenario dance drama themed “Pangu, Creator of the World” kicked off the opening ceremony of the Myth Festival. Through highly expressive body language and symbolic stage expressions, the program reproduced the creation process from the initial separation of chaos to the transformation of Pangu’s body into all things: Pangu’s determination to split heaven and earth, his perseverance in holding up heaven and earth, and his sacrifice in turning his body into all living things elevated the mythological narrative into a visual poem full of creativity and philosophical thinking.


随后,杨帆校长身着观音菩萨的服饰为本次神话节致辞。她指出,神话背后蕴含着不同民族对世界的认知智慧,理解中国神话能让我们追溯“天人合一”等文化思想的根源,接触其他文明神话则有助于我们“学会欣赏多样的美”,成为兼具文化自信与全球视野的中国公民。致辞中,杨校还特别感谢了为活动贡献创意的各年级学生以及默默付出的师生家长,并寄语全体同学在这场跨越时空的文明对话中,以“站在未来中央”的使命感,运用当代的科技、艺术与智慧,让古老神话焕发新的生命力,共同创造美好未来。
Subsequently, Principal Yang Fan delivered a speech for the Myth Festival dressed as Guanyin Bodhisattva. She pointed out that behind myths lie the cognitive wisdom of different nations towards the world. Understanding Chinese myths allows us to trace the roots of cultural ideas such as “Unity of Heaven and Man”, while contacting myths of other civilizations helps us “learn to appreciate the beauty of diversity” and become Chinese citizens with both cultural confidence and global perspective. In her speech, Principal Yang also specially thanked students of all grades who contributed ideas to the event and teachers, students and parents who made silent efforts. She encouraged all students to, in this civilization dialogue transcending time and space, with a sense of mission of “standing at the center of the future”, use contemporary technology, art and wisdom to endow ancient myths with new vitality and jointly create a better future.

最后登场的《英雄联盟秀》节目,将文明对话从理念推向了生动的舞台实践。二郎神与雷神,同样执掌雷霆,守护的意境却相互映照;女娲与雅典娜,皆为文明奠基,智慧的光芒各显其彩……这绝非简单的角色展示,而是一场精心架构的“跨时空对话”。中英双语的小解说员以清晰而富有思辨的语言,精准诠释着每组配对背后的哲学命题——关于守护与叛逆、智慧与规则、情感的不同表达。观众透过华丽的服饰与神通,得以直抵不同文明叙事深处,感受人类共通的情感结构与价值追求。这场特别的展演,正是“文化自信”最生动的写照:年轻一代以主人的姿态,从容梳理、并置、诠释全球文化遗产,让古老的智慧在当代青春的舞台上,碰撞出新的和鸣。
The final program “League of Legends Show” pushed the dialogue of civilizations from concept to vivid stage practice. Erlang Shen and Thor, both in charge of thunder and lightning, mirrored each other in the meaning of guardianship; Nvwa and Athena, both laying the foundation for civilization, shone with different lights of wisdom... This was by no means a simple character display, but a carefully constructed “cross-temporal dialogue”. Young commentators in both Chinese and English, with clear and speculative language, accurately interpreted the philosophical propositions behind each pair—about guardianship and rebellion, wisdom and rules, and different expressions of emotions. Through gorgeous costumes and supernatural powers, the audience was able to reach the depths of different civilization narratives and feel the common emotional structures and value pursuits of humanity. This special performance was the most vivid portrayal of “cultural confidence”: the younger generation, with the attitude of masters, calmly sorted out, juxtaposed and interpreted global cultural heritage, allowing ancient wisdom to collide with new harmonies on the stage of contemporary youth.










从“五行调解”的密室思辨到“神话再造”的多元工坊
From Secret Room Speculation in “Five Elements Reconciliation” to Diversified Workshops in “Myth Reconstruction”
如果开幕式是在宏观层面展开文明对话,那么紧随其后、分层展开的活动板块,则将这场对话引向了深度、广度与温度兼备的沉浸式探索:4-9年级学生通过《文明调和者》剧本杀与《元素猎手》工作坊,在思辨与创造中深度探索文明对话;3年级的学生,则在学长学姐精心设计的《穹衡录》剧本杀中亲历神话冒险,并通过“演神话”与“神话人物你比我猜”的互动,让古老的神话在笑声与想象中变得可触可感;1-2年级的孩子们,则在专属的“神话帐篷”里,于温馨的讲述中开启了他们最初的神话启蒙之旅。
If the opening ceremony launched the dialogue of civilizations at a macro level, then the subsequent activity sections carried out in layers led this dialogue to an immersive exploration with depth, breadth and warmth: Students from Grades 4 to 9 conducted in-depth exploration of civilization dialogue through the script murder game “Civilization Mediators” and the “Element Hunters” workshops in speculation and creation; Students from Grade 3 experienced mythological adventures in the “Qiongheng Record” script murder game carefully designed by senior students, and through interactions such as “performing myths” and “guessing mythological characters through gestures”, made ancient myths tangible and perceptible in laughter and imagination; Children from Grades 1 to 2 embarked on their initial mythological enlightenment journey in exclusive “Myth Tents” through warm storytelling.




深度思辨:《文明调和者》——在五行密室中践行“和而不同”的共生智慧
In-depth Speculation: “Civilization Mediators” — Practicing the Symbiotic Wisdom of “Harmony in Diversity” in Five Elements Secret Rooms
《文明调和者》剧本杀以“金木水火土”五行智慧为哲学框架,在五个主题密室中构建了十组东西方神祇的理念冲突场域。
Taking the philosophical framework of the Five Elements (metal, wood, water, fire, earth) wisdom, the script murder game “Civilization Mediators” constructed 10 fields of ideological conflicts between Eastern and Western gods and goddesses in five themed secret rooms.
学生们化身为“文明调和者”,深入每个密室的核心矛盾,例如:在“火之密室”调解祝融“秩序延续”的文明之火与赫菲斯托斯“变革创造”的锻造之火;在“木之密室”平衡句芒“道法自然”的沉静韵律与德墨忒尔“主动馈赠”的急切干预。整个体验遵循“冲突-搜证-和解”的经典叙事结构,引导学生从见证对峙、探究根源,到最终通过亲手书写“共生契约”促成和解。
Students transformed into “civilization mediators” and delved into the core contradictions of each secret room. For example, mediating Zhu Rong’s “fire of civilization for the continuation of order” and Hephaestus’ “fire of forging for reform and creation” in the “Fire Secret Room”; balancing Jumang’s “calm rhythm of following the way of nature” and Demeter’s “eager intervention of active giving” in the “Wood Secret Room”. The entire experience followed the classic narrative structure of “conflict - evidence collection - reconciliation”, guiding students from witnessing confrontation, exploring the root causes, to finally promoting reconciliation by personally writing a “Symbiosis Covenant”.
这一过程模拟了跨文化理解的真实路径:它并非寻求单一答案,而是培养在差异中构建共识、在对话中实现共生的“调解者心智”。当学生们手持自己促成的契约走出密室,他们获得的不仅是一枚徽章,更是一种面对多元世界时可贵的思想方法与行动能力。
This process simulated the real path of cross-cultural understanding: it did not seek a single answer, but cultivated a “mediator’s mindset” of building consensus in differences and achieving symbiosis through dialogue. When students walked out of the secret rooms holding the covenants they promoted, they gained not only a badge, but also a valuable way of thinking and acting when facing a diverse world.


多元创造:《元素猎手》工作坊——在跨界实践中展开神话的创意重构
Diversified Creation: “Element Hunters” Workshops — Carrying Out Creative Reconstruction of Myths in Cross-boundary Practice
与密室中聚焦、深度的思辨相呼应,遍布校园的34个《元素猎手》主题工作坊,则提供了一个自由、开放、跨界的创造性舞台。这里,神话褪去其古老与遥远的面纱,化身为可编程、可实验、可塑造、可辩论的鲜活素材。
Corresponding to the focused and in-depth speculation in the secret rooms, 34 “Element Hunters” themed workshops scattered across the campus provided a free, open and cross-boundary creative stage. Here, myths shed their ancient and distant veil and transformed into vivid materials that can be programmed, experimented, shaped and debated.
工作坊巧妙地打破了学科壁垒,让神话成为连接不同知识领域的“催化剂”。学生们可以在“光电实验室”亲手“把闪电握在手心”,用物理公式验证神话奇观;在“编程营地”用图形化代码重演普罗米修斯“盗火”的壮举;在“思辨殿堂”围绕“谁动了天火与五彩石”展开伦理激辩。同时,从“七巧织梦”的编织、“神农香囊”的手作,到“粘土精灵”的塑造,传统工艺与艺术表达也让神话变得可触可感。
The workshops cleverly broke down disciplinary boundaries, making myths a “catalyst” connecting different knowledge fields. Students could personally “hold lightning in their hands” in the “Optoelectronics Laboratory” and verify mythological wonders with physical formulas; reproduce Prometheus’ feat of “stealing fire” with graphical code in the “Coding Camp”; and launch ethical debates around “Who Took the Heavenly Fire and Five-colored Stones” in the “Hall of Critical Thinking”. At the same time, from the weaving of “Seven-piece Puzzle Dream Weaving”, the handcrafting of “Shennong Sachets”, to the shaping of “Clay Elves”, traditional crafts and artistic expressions also made myths tangible and perceptible.
这是一场 “从神话的接受者到神话的创造者”的身份转变。学生不再只是聆听故事,而是通过亲手创造,将古老的文化基因进行个性化“转录”与“表达”。每个工作坊都是一个微型的文化创新项目,让参与者在动手实践中,真正实现“在指尖触碰神话”,将厚重的文化遗产转化为属于自己的、具有当代意义的作品。
This was an identity transformation “from recipients of myths to creators of myths”. Instead of just listening to stories, students carried out personalized “transcription” and “expression” of ancient cultural genes through personal creation. Each workshop was a micro cultural innovation project, allowing participants to truly realize “touching myths with their fingertips” through hands-on practice and transform profound cultural heritage into their own works with contemporary significance.






神话启蒙:“双界契”与“神话帐篷”——在生生共创中传递文明火种
Mythological Enlightenment: “Covenant of Two Realms” and “Myth Tents” — Passing on the Torch of Civilization in Co-creation
一至二年级的孩子们,在花园平台搭建的数顶“神话故事帐篷”里,开启了一场温暖而专注的神话启蒙。这里没有复杂的规则,也无需紧张的闯关,只有一位位小讲述者,用他们生动的语言,将《孙悟空大闹天宫》《嫦娥奔月》《女娲造人》等经典故事娓娓道来。孩子们围坐在一起,随着情节的推进时而屏息凝神,时而发出惊叹与欢笑。这不仅仅是一次“听故事”的体验,更是在他们心中悄然播下了一颗理解自身文化的种子,为未来更深广的文明探索,奠定了最初的情感基石。
Children from Grades 1 to 2 embarked on a warm and focused mythological enlightenment journey in several “Myth Story Tents” set up on the garden platform. There were no complex rules or intense challenges here, only young storytellers who recounted classic stories such as “Sun Wukong’s Havoc in Heaven”, “Chang’e Flying to the Moon” and “Nvwa Creating Humans” in vivid language. The children sat around, holding their breath, exclaiming and laughing as the plot unfolded. This was not just an experience of “listening to stories”, but also sowing a seed of understanding their own culture in their hearts, laying the initial emotional foundation for broader exploration of civilization in the future.


在本次神话节中,一场由八年级学生为三年级学弟学妹量身打造的《穹衡录·双界契》剧本杀成为亮点。学长们自主设计了“天柱碎裂、集碎片拯救世界”的宏大剧情,融入跨学科解谜与阵营对抗,让小玩家们在沉浸式体验中锻炼协作与思维。三年级同学们还通过“演神话”和“神话人物你比我猜”游戏,以生动有趣的方式深入理解神话内涵。这场跨越年级的创意合作,让同学们在“创造”与“体验”的双重角色中,共同收获领导力、设计思维与成长的快乐。
In this Myth Festival, a script murder game “Qiongheng Record: Covenant of Two Realms” tailored by Grade 8 students for Grade 3 juniors and seniors became a highlight. The senior students independently designed a grand plot of “the sky pillar breaking, collecting fragments to save the world”, integrating interdisciplinary puzzles and camp confrontations, allowing young players to exercise collaboration and thinking in an immersive experience. Grade 3 students also gained a deep understanding of mythological connotations in a vivid and interesting way through “performing myths” and “guessing mythological characters through gestures” games. This cross-grade creative cooperation allowed students to gain leadership, design thinking and the joy of growth in the dual roles of “creation” and “experience”.


从“人间灶火”的温暖叙事到“诸神宴席”的文明共味
From the Warm Narrative of “Mortal Kitchen Fires” to the Civilization Feast of “Gods’ Banquet”
上午11时,备受瞩目的“众神美食体验区”于操场盛大开启!手持任务徽章的学生们踏入这片由家长精心构筑的“神话美食”长廊,开启了一场以味觉为载体的文明漫游。
At 11 a.m., the highly anticipated “Gods’ Food Experience Area” grandly opened on the playground! Students holding mission badges stepped into this corridor of “mythological food” carefully constructed by parents, starting a civilized journey with taste as the carrier.


每一处摊位皆是一则流动的传说:北方的馍坊蒸腾着人间烟火,龙宫鱼丸的鲜香穿越波涛而至,冰糖葫芦串起祥瑞,棉花糖叠成云境......寻常小吃在此被赋予神话的叙事,成为可品尝的传奇。
Each stall was a flowing legend: the steamed bun workshop in the north steamed with mortal fireworks, the fresh fragrance of dragon palace fish balls crossed the waves, rock sugar haws strung together auspicious omens, cotton candy stacked into cloud realms... Ordinary snacks were endowed with mythological narratives here, becoming edible legends.


家长们的巧思远不止于此——“舌尖上的西游”更将故事化入盘中:金箍棒化作酥脆薯条,铁扇凝为金针菇串,玉帝秘制翅与风火轮蛋糕相映成趣。在“神界元气补给站”中,卤蛋藏修炼之思,神火面燃文明之味。在“神话锻造工坊”里,蛋卷炼乳铸成“定海神针”,饼干海苔拼作“英雄之盾”,巧克力化为“宙斯雷霆”。食物在此超越滋味,成为触摸神话的媒介。
Parents’ ingenuity went far beyond this — “A Taste of Journey to the West” further integrated stories into the plates: the Golden Cudgel transformed into crispy French fries, the Iron Fan condensed into enoki mushroom skewers, the Jade Emperor’s secret braised wings and Fire Wheel cakes complemented each other. In the “Gods’ Vitality Supply Station”, marinated eggs contained the idea of cultivation, and divine fire noodles burned with the taste of civilization. In the “Myth Forging Workshop”, egg rolls with condensed milk were forged into “Sea-Calming Divine Needles”, biscuits and seaweed were assembled into “Heroes’ Shields”, and chocolate was transformed into “Zeus’ Thunderbolts”. Food transcended taste here and became a medium to touch myths.





从非遗擂茶的质朴手作,到森林精灵的坚果赠礼。从“诸神禁宴”中深渊八宝饭与德古拉“血饮”的创意碰撞到“中西茶荟”的对话绵长……这已不仅是一场美食体验,更是一次以味觉为舟、以创意为帆的跨文化航行。家长以食物书写神话,学生以徽章兑换故事,在品尝与交流之间,文明悄然交融,传说真正“活”在了每个人的舌尖与心间。
From the simple handcrafting of intangible cultural heritage Leicha (pounded tea), to the nut gifts of forest elves. From the creative collision of Abyss Eight-Treasure Rice and Dracula’s “Blood Drink” in the “Gods’ Forbidden Feast” to the long dialogue of “Chinese and Western Tea Gathering”... This was not just a food experience, but a cross-cultural voyage with taste as the boat and creativity as the sail. Parents wrote myths with food, and students exchanged stories with badges. Between tasting and communicating, civilizations quietly merged, and legends truly “came alive” on everyone’s tongue and in their hearts.

当神话节在味蕾的共鸣与思想的回响中落幕,“神话无界,文明共生”的种子已悄然播下。这场融合创世诗篇、英雄对话、密室思辨与创意工坊的沉浸式旅程,不仅让古老传说在当代校园里获得新生,更让年轻一代亲身体验了如何以开放胸襟和当代智慧,成为文明对话的践行者与创造者。神话节虽已结束,但文明的对话将在每一个参与者的心中持续生长,照亮通往未来的文化路径。
As the Myth Festival came to an end with the resonance of taste buds and the echo of ideas, the seeds of “Myths Beyond Borders, Civilizations Coexisting” have been quietly sown. This immersive journey integrating creation epics, hero dialogues, secret room speculation and creative workshops not only gave new life to ancient legends on the contemporary campus, but also allowed the younger generation to personally experience how to become practitioners and creators of civilization dialogue with an open mind and contemporary wisdom. Although the Myth Festival has ended, the dialogue of civilizations will continue to grow in the hearts of every participant, illuminating the cultural path towards the future.

亲爱的的各位老师、家长、同学们,中外大神们:大家早上好!
Dear teachers, parents, students, and all mythological deities at home and abroad, good morning!
今天是我们一年一度的“神话节”。首先,我代表学校,向精心筹备活动的老师们、大力支持的家长们表示衷心的感谢!
Today is our annual "Myth Festival". First of all, on behalf of the school, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the teachers who have carefully prepared this event and to the parents who have strongly supported it!
看到教学楼里新添的神话装饰,同学们手中特别的“仙家牌”和集章卡,相信大家已经感受到了浓浓的节日氛围,对自己报名的工作坊也充满期待。我今天扮演的是观音菩萨,佛教四大菩萨之一,源于古印度佛教,后随佛教东传,融入中国文化,衍生妙善公主等本土传说。我和大家一样,最早也是从《西游记》中认识的。观音菩萨以大慈大悲、救苦救难闻名,深受信众尊崇。我觉得我们做教育的人有责任做好教育,我们是在做一件最大的善事。
Looking at the new myth-themed decorations in the teaching buildings, and the special "immortal name cards" and stamp-collecting cards in the students' hands, I believe everyone has felt the strong festive atmosphere and is full of expectations for the workshops they signed up for. Today, I am dressed as Guanyin Bodhisattva, one of the Four Great Bodhisattvas in Buddhism. Known for great compassion and rescuing sentient beings from suffering, Guanyin Bodhisattva is deeply revered by believers. Originating from ancient Indian Buddhism, Guanyin Bodhisattva later spread eastward with Buddhism, integrated into Chinese culture, and gave birth to local legends such as Princess Miaoshan. Like all of you, I first got to know Guanyin Bodhisattva from *Journey to the West*. Known for great compassion and rescuing sentient beings from suffering, Guanyin Bodhisattva is deeply revered by believers. I believe we in education bear the responsibility to teach well—it is the greatest act of benevolence we can offer.
说起神话故事,咱们中国的盘古开天辟地、女娲造人,古希腊的普罗米修斯盗火,北欧神话里的诸神故事等,都深深吸引着我们。这些故事虽然充满幻想,好像现实不会发生,但它们背后体现的是不同民族对世界最初的认识,体现了人类的智慧和道德观念。了解中国神话,能让我们更懂自己文化里“天人合一”、“厚德载物”等思想的来源;接触其他文明的神话,能帮我们理解别人看世界的角度,让我们学会欣赏多样的美,感受不同文化的魅力。这既能让我们作为中国人更自信,也能让我们成为心胸更开阔的世界公民。
When it comes to mythological stories, China's Pangu Separating Heaven and Earth, Nüwa Creating Humans, Prometheus Stealing Fire in ancient Greek mythology, and the stories of gods and goddesses in Norse mythology all deeply attract us. Although these stories are full of fantasies and seem impossible in reality, they reflect the initial understanding of the world by different nations, as well as human wisdom and moral concepts. Understanding Chinese mythology helps us better grasp the origins of ideas in our own culture such as "harmony between humans and nature" and "upholding virtue and carrying things". Exposing ourselves to myths from other civilizations also enables us to understand how others perceive the world, learn to appreciate the beauty of diversity, and feel the charm of different cultures. This not only strengthens our confidence as Chinese people but also helps us become more open-minded global citizens.
我们今年神话节的主题是“神话无界,文明共生,文化自信”。“神话无界”是说,人类对世界的好奇和想象是相通的,好的故事能超越地理的界限。“文明共生”是希望同学们能以平等、尊重的心态,去看待和欣赏人类所有优秀的文化成果。而“文化自信”,是让中国古老传说在当代“活”过来,并赢得世界的掌声。当《哪吒》用东方美学震撼全球,当自贡的“年兽”借AI与人对话,我们便看到祖先最浪漫的想象,正是我们走向未来最酷的创造力源泉。
The theme of this year's Myth Festival is "Myths Beyond Borders, Civilizations Coexisting, Cultural Confidence". "Myths Beyond Borders" means that human curiosity and imagination about the world are universal, and good stories can transcend geographical boundaries. "Civilizations Coexisting" encourages students to view and appreciate all outstanding achievements of human culture with an attitude of equality and respect. "Cultural Confidence" means reviving Chinese ancient legends in the contemporary era and winning applause from the world. When *Ne Zha* stunned the globe with Eastern aesthetics, and when Zigong's "Year Beast" interacted with people through AI, we saw that the most romantic imaginations of our ancestors are precisely the coolest source of creativity for us to move towards the future.
我希望你们在这场跨越时空的文明对话中,听见属于自己的召唤,找到自己的位置;希望你们能以“站在未来中央”的使命感,思考如何运用这个时代的科技、艺术与智慧,让这些中外经典的神话以令人惊叹的全新面貌,去感动、影响世界,去创造人类更美好的未来。
I hope that in this cross-temporal dialogue of civilizations, you can hear your own calling and find your own position. I hope you can, with a sense of mission of "standing at the center of the future", think about how to use the technology, art, and wisdom of this era to present these classic Chinese and foreign myths in amazing new forms, touch and influence the world, and create a better future for humanity.

Here, I would like to give a special thanks to Zhuang Zhiyan from Grade 9 for contributing her creativity to the Myth Festival. Thanks to her, we have this stage, providing students with a bigger platform to showcase themselves. I also want to thank the Grade 8 students who designed a script murder game specifically for Grade 3 students—Xu Xin, Chen Xi, Yan Yuchen, Zheng Yingyan, Wang Yu, Zhang Rui, He Peihan, Lai Yujie, and Zhang Haochun. Additionally, gratitude goes to Ye Yuno and Liu Qingxuan from Grade 6, who actively signed up to join the organizing committee, conducted surveys among students on their experiences and suggestions for the Myth Festival, and Ye Yuno explained the festival process to all students via the school radio.
