万双网讯 为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力,提升学生的中英文综合素养,让孩子站在舞台中央,2025年12月15日,万科双语学校第57期E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。百余名师生现场聆听了演讲,活动同时面向全校师生直播。
To enhance students’ comprehensive abilities in public speaking and expression, improve their bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English, and allow children to shine on stage, the 57th session of the E-talk activity was held at the school theater on December 15th, 2025. Over 100 teachers and students attended the event in person, and it was also live-streamed to the entire school.
本次E-talk活动的主题是“Food”,七、八年级的8名同学用英文进行了精彩的演讲。他们以食物为经纬,将地理、历史、科学与人文巧妙编织,用自己的视角与讲述,让日常的食物焕发出知识与文化的璀璨光芒。评委老师也对同学们的表现给予了细致点评。
The theme of this E-talk activity was “Food”. Eight students from grades seven and eight delivered captivating speeches in English. Using food as a theme, they skillfully wove together geography, history, science, and humanities, offering their unique perspectives and narratives to reveal the brilliance of culture in everyday food. The judges also provided detailed feedback on the students' performances.
7G班的熊梦凡(Albert)同学带大家探索了食物中的快乐密码。他从糖分的生物本能吸引力、辣味的疼痛与愉悦双重体验切入,深入解析了糖和辣椒素如何影响大脑与情绪,最后分享了食物承载的爱、文化与团聚意义,让大家明白每一口美食都是对生活的品味。
Xiong Mengfan (Albert) from Class 7G took everyone on a journey to explore the secrets of joy in food. He started with the biological attraction of sugar and the dual experience of pain and pleasure from spicy flavors, delving into how sugar and spice affect the brain and emotions. Finally, he shared the love, culture, and family significance that food carries, helping everyone understand that every bite is a taste of life.

评委老师点评道:“你的演讲非常棒,尤其是你展现了幽默风趣的一面,令整个演讲很吸引人。”
The judge commented: “Your speech is excellent, especially your humorous and engaging style, which made the entire presentation very captivating.”
7G班的刘欣怡(Valarie)同学的演讲,追溯了面包的千年演变史。她从原始扁平面包讲起,依次介绍了发酵面包的偶然诞生、古希腊罗马对面包制作技术的发展与传播,以及中世纪至今面包在不同阶层的食用差异和现代多样的面包种类,让听众全面了解了这一日常食物背后的丰富历史。
Liu Xinyi (Valarie) from Class 7G traced the millennium-long evolution of bread in her speech. She began with the original flatbread, then the accidental birth of fermented bread, followed by the technological development and spread of bread making in ancient Greece and Rome, and highlighted the consumption differences among social classes from the Middle Ages to the present, as well as the diverse types of modern bread. This gave the audience a comprehensive understanding of the rich history behind this everyday food.

评委老师表示,自己恰好是一位“面包爱好者”,因此对刘欣怡同学选择的演讲主题倍感亲切。她的讲述生动而清晰,让老师对面包跨越千年的历史演变有了更丰富的认识。此外,老师特别称赞了她精美的PPT设计,以及其中使用的许多准确而优美的英语词汇。最后,老师也送上了一份温暖的鼓励:“如果未来在台上感到紧张,不妨试着深呼吸一下——这或许能帮你更轻松、更自信地展现自己。”
The judge, who happens to be a “bread enthusiast” felt particularly connected to Liu’s chosen topic. Liu’s vivid and clear storytelling enriched the judge’s understanding of bread's thousand-year history. The judge also highly praised Liu’s exquisite PPT design and the use of many accurate and elegant English words. Finally, the judge offered warm encouragement: “If you feel nervous on stage in the future, try taking a deep breath—it might help you speak more easily and confidently.”
8C班的何沛晗(May)同学带来的关于佛跳墙故事分享。她讲述了这道福建名菜的由来,详解了其融合二十余种海陆食材、慢炖而成的独特做法,还阐释了菜品所蕴含的和谐理念,以及在春节、婚礼等重要场合象征团聚与福气的文化价值,展现了中华美食的深厚底蕴。
He Peihan (May) from Class 8C shared a story called Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, a famous Fujian dish. She narrated its origins, detailed the unique cooking method that combines over twenty land and sea ingredients made with slow simmering, and explained the harmonious philosophy behind the dish, as well as its cultural value of symbolizing reunion and good fortune during important occasions like Spring Festival and weddings. This showcased the profound heritage of Chinese cuisine.

评委老师称赞道:“你的演讲非常自信、大方。虽然我还没有机会品尝佛跳墙这道菜,但通过你生动的描述,我仿佛已经能感受到它汇聚山海之鲜的丰美滋味。你的分享,不仅让我‘走近’了一道名菜,更让我‘走进’了其中蕴含的中式饮食哲学与文化厚度。”

Ni Haizhou (Terry) from Class 8E gave a speech titled “Hot Pot: The Food That Warms Your Heart” vividly depicting the dining scene and unique charm of hot pot. He introduced the rich ingredient options and the fun DIY cooking process, emphasizing how hot pot, as a “party on a table”, brings warmth and emotional connections to gatherings, allowing everyone to feel the joy of companionship behind this delicious food.

Tian Zhuoying (Warren) from Class 8G focused on Wuhan’s signature delicacy, delivering a speech titled “A Bowl of Togetherness: The Meaning of Hot Dry Noodles”. He introduced the ingredients and origin of hot dry noodles, depicting the morning routine of people sharing this dish on Wuhan’s streets, interpreting the chewy texture and rich flavors as symbols of the city’s resilience and inclusive culture, and showcasing the dish’s role in building urban memories and community bonds.

评委老师认为这是很棒的一次分享,田濯缨同学的语音语调很丰富,准备的也很充分,如果下次再加上一些肢体语言来辅助演讲,必要时稍作停顿,调动听众气氛,一定会更惊艳。

Starting with the flavors and craftsmanship of classic foods like pineapple buns, silk-stocking milk tea, and egg waffles, she also included the lively atmosphere of outdoor food stalls, vividly illustrating how Hong Kong cuisine blends Eastern and Western essences, becoming a unique bridge connecting diverse cultures and fostering emotions. This fully showcased the city’s inclusive culinary charm and vibrant energy.

8I班的郑嘉霖(Justin)同学带来了题为“The Magical Bite from Chaoshan – Chaoshan Beef Ball”的精彩分享。他描述了潮汕牛肉丸弹牙多汁的口感,详解了其精选鲜牛肉、手工捶打三十分钟以上的传统制作工艺,以及煮汤、配面等食用方式,更传递了这道小吃所蕴含的潮汕人对食材的敬畏与匠心精神。
Zheng Jialin (Justin) from Class 8I delivered a wonderful presentation titled “The Magical Bite from Chaoshan – The Chaoshan Beef Ball”. He described the springy and juicy texture of Chaoshan beef balls, detailed the traditional craftsmanship of selecting fresh beef and hand-beating it for over thirty minutes, and introduced cooking methods like boiling in soup or serving with noodles. He also conveyed the reverence and craftsmanship that this snack embodies among Chaoshan people.

评委老师认为,郑嘉霖同学在台上的自信表现,已经证明了背后反复练习的付出,这一点非常棒!如果同学能在下次的演讲中更主动地调整语调的轻重与节奏,让声音也带上情感的色彩,将会更加出色、更有感染力。

The judge suggested that Justin adjust the volume and rhythm of his speech to be more active in the future, and infuse his voice with emotional colors, which would make his delivery even more outstanding and impactful.
8C班的韩舜烨(Justin Han)同学以“My Hometown Cuisine - Northeast Chinese Food”为题,介绍了东北美食的独特风格。他推荐了猪肉炖粉条、糖醋里脊、锅贴等经典菜品,讲解了东北菜因冬季寒冷而注重保暖、分量充足、适合分享的特点,以及以简单调料凸显食材本味的烹饪理念,让听众感受到东北美食的豪爽与温暖。
Han Shunye (Justin Han) from Class 8C gave a speech titled “My Hometown Cuisine - Northeast Chinese Food”, introducing the unique style of Northeast Chinese cuisine. He recommended classic dishes like pork stew with vermicelli, sweet and sour pork, and Guotie, explaining how Northeast cuisine emphasizes warmth, generous portions, and sharing due to the cold winter climate, and highlighted the cooking philosophy of using simple seasonings to enhance the natural flavors of ingredients. This allowed the audience to feel the boldness and warmth of Northeast Chinese food.

评委老师表示:“我本人也是东北美食的爱好者,你的演讲主题让我格外感兴趣。能看出你做了非常充分的准备,无论是整体的结构安排、PPT的设计,还是图片的选用,都十分用心。尤其是各部分之间的衔接,流畅自然,让整个分享一气呵成,很棒!”
The judge, who is also a fan of Chinese Northeastern cuisine, found the topic particularly interesting. The judge noted that Han had done very thorough preparation, whether in the overall structure, PPT design, or image selection, all of which showed great care. The judge especially praised the smooth and natural transitions between sections, making the entire presentation flow seamlessly.
最后,评委老师们为所有演讲者颁发了证书并合影留念。本期E-talk活动在热烈的掌声中圆满结束。同学们所讲述的食物的故事在每位听众心中留下了悠长的回响,也让我们看到:食物,是地理的印记、历史的切片、情感的容器,更是文化认同与创新的活态载体。
Finally, the judges awarded certificates to all speakers and took group photos. The 57th session of the E-talk activity concluded with warm applause. The food stories shared by the students left a lasting impression on every listener, reminding us that food is not just a geographical marker, a historical slice, or an emotional vessel, but also a dynamic carrier of cultural identity and innovation.

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次,学生自主报名参与,中文、英文均可,老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲,主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说,善思、善辩、善究。
The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.

The judge, who is also a fan of Chinese Northeastern cuisine, found the topic particularly interesting. The judge noted that Han had done very thorough preparation, whether in the overall structure, PPT design, or image selection, all of which showed great care. The judge especially praised the smooth and natural transitions between sections, making the entire presentation flow seamlessly.

Finally, the judges awarded certificates to all speakers and took group photos. The 57th session of the E-talk activity concluded with warm applause. The food stories shared by the students left a lasting impression on every listener, reminding us that food is not just a geographical marker, a historical slice, or an emotional vessel, but also a dynamic carrier of cultural identity and innovation.

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次,学生自主报名参与,中文、英文均可,老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲,主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说,善思、善辩、善究。
The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.

The stage of E-talk is open.
