万双网讯 2025年12月15日,万科双语学校举行2025-2026学年第一学期第16周升旗仪式。本周升旗仪式由团结友爱的1E班负责,杨智宇(Eason)和李坤正(Kyson)两位同学主持。全体1E班同学组成护旗方阵,展现出集体的精神风貌。
On December 15, 2025, the flag-raising ceremony for the sixteenth week of the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year was held on the playground of Vanke Bilingual School. This ceremony was hosted by Class 1E, known for their unity and friendship. Students Yang Zhiyu (Kyson) and Li Kunzheng (Eason) served as the hosts. All of the other students in Class 1E formed a flag color guard, showcasing the spirit and demeanor of their collective spirit.



在国旗下讲话环节,孙欣桐(Ellie)和罗筱宁(Alisa)两位同学以《勿以善小而不为,勿以恶小而为之》为题进行了演讲。她们从校园生活出发,生动阐释了这句古训的现实意义:弯腰拾纸屑、随手关水龙头、真诚道感谢,这些点滴善行看似微小,却能让文明之树枝繁叶茂;而推搡、浪费、谎言等行为,即便轻微,也可能侵蚀品格根基。她们号召全体同学从每一次认真行礼、每一日专注读书、每一回尽责值日做起,在日常中践行小善、远离小恶,以健康的身心、端正的品格和勤勉的态度,共同塑造美好的校园与未来。
During the speech segment under the national flag, students Sun Xintong (Alisa) and Luo Xiaoning (Ellie) delivered a speech titled “Don’t skip good things even if they’re small, and don’t do bad things even if they’re small.” Starting with the details of regular school life, they explained the contemporary relevance of this ancient teaching: small acts of kindness such as picking up a piece of paper on the floor, turning off the faucet when it’s dripping, or saying “thank you” when a friend helps you may seem insignificant, but they help keep our school clean and create a happier environment. While bad behaviors such as shoving and roughhousing, wasting food, or telling lies, even if seemingly minor, can make others sad, and that’s not nice. They emphasized that all students should start by giving respectful salutes to teachers, reading attentively every day, and keeping the classroom clean. They encouraged everyone to practice small acts of goodness and avoid minor wrongdoings in daily life. With healthy bodies and minds, upright character, and a diligent attitude, we can all work together to shape a better school and future.

在“书记话时事”环节,第一书记董爱霞老师以“人造太阳圆科幻 科技强国向未来”为题,向师生生动讲述了我国在可控核聚变领域的重大进展与深远意义。她指出,合肥“人造太阳”BEST装置已进入总装阶段,预计2027年首次实现聚变能发电,标志着“科幻正照进现实”。该成果依托超导磁体、耐高温燃料球等多项世界首创技术,设备国产化率已达93.4%,展现了我国科技的自主创新能力。
During the “Secretary’s Talk on Current Affairs” segment, First Secretary Teacher Dong Aixia used the theme “An Artificial Sun Realizes the Sci-Fi Dream; Technological Power Forges a Future Path.” to introduce the significant progress of our country in the field of controlled nuclear fusion. She pointed out that the "artificial sun" device ‘BEST’ in Hefei has entered the final assembly stage. It is expected to achieve the first fusion energy power generation in 2027, marking an element of science fiction that is coming true. This achievement is based on multiple world-first technologies such as superconducting magnets and high-temperature-resistant fuel balls. The domestic production rate of the equipment has reached 93.4%, demonstrating China's independent innovation capabilities in science and technology.

First, let’s make it super easy to understand! What does this mean? Well, “Don’t skip good things even if they’re small” tells us: if there’s a nice thing to do, even if it’s tiny (like giving a little candy!), we shouldn’t say “it’s too small, I won’t do it.” And “Don’t do bad things even if they’re small” means: if doing something is naughty or hurts others, even if it seems like no big deal, we shouldn’t do it. Experts predict that the 15th Five-Year Plan period will activate a trillion-yuan market! What makes us even prouder is that China has collaborated with over 50 countries and more than 140 institutions worldwide in this endeavor. Much like the international cooperation envisioned in The Three-Body Problem, controlled nuclear fusion has become a pivotal point for international cooperation under its “Dual Carbon” goals. Chinese technology is now influencing the world!
