万双网讯 2025年10月9日,万科双语学校2025-2026学年第一学期第6周升旗仪式在学校操场庄严举行。本次仪式由团结友爱、积极向上的2G班负责。
On October 9th, 2025, the 6th Week Flag-Raising Ceremony for the First Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year of Vanke Bilingual School (VBS) was held on the school playground. This week’s ceremony was undertaken by Class 2G, an optimistic and determined class.
升旗仪式在曹蔚林和李泓诚两位同学的主持下拉开序幕。护旗方阵由2G班全体同学组成,步伐整齐、精神饱满。在国旗下讲话环节,高锦琰、赵夏天、林启远和李峻贤四位同学以《心理健康,快乐常伴》为题发表了演讲。
The ceremony was hosted by Cao Weilin (Peter) and Li Hongcheng (Henry) from Class 2G, and the flag guard formation was composed of all students of Class 2G. Gao Jinyan (Gary), Zhao Xiatian (Lia), Lin Qiyuan (Jimmy) and Li Junxian (Tim Lee) delivered a speech under the national flag titled Mental Health, Happy Life.
他们在演讲中生动地比喻:心理健康就像我们心中的小太阳,有它照耀,生活便充满活力。然而成长路上难免遇到“风雨”,比如与朋友闹矛盾,烦恼就如乌云般暂时遮蔽阳光。面对这些时刻,不必担心,他们分享了四把“金钥匙”,帮助阳光重新照亮心田:接纳独特的自己;勇敢表达,主动寻求倾听与帮助;积极运动,释放情绪;以及保持乐观,笑对挑战。
In their speech, they vividly illustrated that mental health is like a little sun within our hearts; with its shine, life is full of vitality. However, the path of growth inevitably encounters “storms,” such as arguments with friends, where worries can temporarily block the sunlight like dark clouds. Facing these moments, they shared four “golden keys” to help sunshine brighten our hearts again,which are accepting our unique selves; expressing ourselves bravely and actively seeking listening ears for help; and engaging in positive physical activity to release emotions while maintaining optimism and smiling in the face of challenges.
在“书记话时事”环节,派驻第一书记董爱霞老师以《WTT中国大满贯国乒夺冠 冠军历练呼应世界心理健康日》为主题,向同学们讲述了王楚钦如何突破状态瓶颈、王曼昱如何从伤病低谷中奋起的真实经历。她引导大家认识到,比金牌更闪耀的,是运动员身上那种不畏挫折、永不言败的坚毅品质。董老师希望同学们将这种精神内化于心,勇敢面对学习与生活中的困难。
During the “Secretary Talks About Current Affairs” session, Teacher Dong Aixia spoke on the theme of “WTT China Grand Slam: National Table Tennis Champions’ Journey Echoes World Mental Health Day.” She shared the real experience of how Wang Chuqin broke through a performance plateau and how Wang Manyu rose back from the depths of injury. She guided the students to recognize that what shines brighter than the gold medals is the athletes’ resilience, their quality of never fearing setback or admitting defeat. Teacher Dong expressed her hope that students would internalize this spirit and courageously face difficulties in their studies and lives.
同时,结合“世界心理健康日”,董老师呼吁全体同学向冠军学习,主动关注自身情绪状态,学会通过有效沟通、目标管理等积极方式进行心理调适,为持续成长储备强大的内心能量。
Simultaneously, connecting to “World Mental Health Day,” Teacher Dong called on all students to learn from the champions by proactively paying attention to their own emotional states. Mental health is like the sun in our hearts. It helps us feel happy and strong.
But sometimes, we feel sad. Maybe we argue with a friend. This looks like clouds covering the sun.
Don’t worry. We have many ways to make the Sun shine again! First, be yourself! Everyone is special. Maybe you are not the fastest runner, but you can sing very well. Each of us is a unique star. Second, speak out about your true feelings. When you feel unhappy or stressed, don't keep it to yourself. Tell your parents and teachers. You will find that someone is listening to and helping you, and you will feel much better! Third, play and exercise! Exercise has magical powers. You can run on the playground. All of your unhappiness will seem to be left behind. Last but not least, always be positive! In our daily lives, we should greet challenges with a smile and remember that there are always more solutions than problems!

Today’s current affairs segment focuses on glory and growth in the world of sports.
At the recently concluded WTT China Grand Slam, the Chinese table tennis team once again demonstrated why they are called the “Dream Team,” sweeping all five championship titles! The finals on October 5th were particularly thrilling: In the men’s singles, Wang Chuqin dominated France’s Felix Lebrun with a 4-0 victory, not only claiming the men’s singles title but also achieving the remarkable feat of a triple crown – winning men’s singles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles at this event. The women’s singles final featured an all-Chinese showdown, where Wang Manyu, after multiple intense rounds, ultimately defeated Sun Yingsha 4-2. By sweeping all five titles, Team China has once again defended its top position in world table tennis.
Tomorrow, October 10th, marks World Mental Health Day. While we celebrate the champions, it’s crucial to recognize the mental training behind their glory. Wang Chuqin, who rose to fame while young, faced performance bottlenecks. Errors in major tournaments gave him doubt and pressure. Instead of retreating, he sought psychological guidance from his coaches, building mental resilience through simulated competitions and match analysis, ultimately transforming setbacks into motivation for his triple crown breakthrough.
Wang Manyu's journey hasn’t been easy either. She narrowly missed titles on multiple occasions, and injuries plunged her to new lows. Yet, she persevered with a positive mindset: communicating with family and friends to relieve stress, setting small training goals to rebuild confidence. It was this very psychological adjustment that allowed her to stay calm and clinch victory in the tight match against Sun Yingsha.
The experiences of these two champions teach us: in competitive sports, while technique is vital, mental strength is often the key factor. This perfectly echoes the very purpose of World Mental Health Day – that paying attention to mental health enables us to better face challenges.
