万双网讯  在这个充满活力的初夏时节,经过为期14周的PBL课程研究与实践,深圳万科双语学校六年级的学生们终于迎来了他们翘首以盼的北京研学之旅。这不仅是一次简单的旅行,更是学生们PBL研究成果的实践与展示,是对学校培养目标和办学理念的深刻践行


In the vibrant early summer of 2025, after 14 weeks of dedicated Project-Based Learning (PBL) research and preparation, the Grade 6 students of Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School (VBS) finally embarked on their long-awaited Beijing Study Tour. This journey was far more than a simple trip; it represented the practical application and showcase of their PBL research findings, embodying the school's educational goals and philosophy in action.

Putting PBL Research into Practice


本学期,学生们在PBL课程中围绕旅游线路进行了深入的文化、历史、攻略研究。经过激烈的成果汇报和全年级师生的投票,北京路线小组以高票胜出,成为此次研学的目的地。这一成果不仅展示了学生们的研究能力和创新思维,更为他们的研学之旅奠定了坚实的基础。在家长代表与旅行社的多轮协商与谈判后,最终确定了详尽且充满吸引力的行程安排,此行程基本涵盖了学生们自己研究出来的绝大部分景点和路线,充分体现了学生们在项目研究中的主体地位和成果落地


Throughout the semester, students immersed themselves in their PBL curriculum, conducting in-depth research on cultural, historical, and practical aspects of potential travel itineraries. Following intense project presentations and a grade-wide vote, the Beijing Route proposal emerged as the winning choice for this year's study tour destination. This outcome not only highlighted the students' research capabilities and innovative thinking but also laid a solid foundation for their expedition. Through multiple rounds of negotiation between parent representatives and travel agencies, a detailed and compelling itinerary was finalized. This itinerary incorporated the vast majority of attractions and routes meticulously researched by the students themselves, truly reflecting their agency in the project and the successful implementation of their findings.

三方助力研学之旅顺利开展

Tripartite Collaboration Ensures Success


在研学之旅的准备阶段,学校、家长和学生三方紧密合作,共同为这次活动付出了巨大的努力。学校召开了行前会议,强调研学纪律和注意事项;家长们积极参与旅行社的协商,确保行程的顺利进行;学生们行前制定各景点攻略和小组公约,手持研学手册,满怀期待地准备迎接这次难忘的旅程。


The preparatory phase exemplified the powerful collaboration between the school, parents, and students. The school organized comprehensive pre-departure briefings, and emphasized tour discipline and other essential considerations. Parents actively participated in negotiations with travel agencies to ensure smooth logistical arrangements. Students diligently prepared visitation guides and group agreements, boarding their flights with study manuals in hand and hearts full of anticipation for this unforgettable experience.

在六天五晚的行程中,学生们在各大著名景点由导游进行讲解和游览,班级也分由老师带领分组进行管理,这种分组管理的方式既保证了学生的安全,又便于老师进行个性化的指导和照顾。同时,家长们在背后默默支持,关注着孩子们的每一点进步和成长。


During the six-day, five-night tour, students explored renowned landmarks with guided commentary. Classes were effectively managed through a group-based system, with teachers assigned to specific student groups. This structure ensured student safety while allowing teachers to provide personalized guidance and care. Throughout the journey, parents offered steadfast support from afar, attentively following their children's progress.

Insights and Gains from the Study Tour


六天五晚的行程安排紧凑而丰富,学生们在游览中不仅领略了北京的古老与现代、文化与历史,更在实践中收获了宝贵的知识和经验。


The six-day, five-night itinerary was both intensive and enriching. Throughout their exploration, students not only immersed themselves in Beijing’s ancient heritage and modern vibrancy, its profound culture and pivotal history, but also gained invaluable knowledge and skills through hands-on discovery found beyond textbooks.

 

在天安门广场观看升旗仪式时,学生们凌晨两点半起床,无一掉队,领子上佩戴整齐的红领巾与鲜艳的五星红旗相得益彰,升旗过程中师生均被被庄严的氛围深深感染,激发了强烈的爱国情怀;在国家博物馆和故宫博物馆的参观中,学生们通过丰富的文物和历史资料,深入了解了中华文明的脉络和文化核心概念;第四天来到了学生们最期待的北京环球影城,各组学生只有老师带领,学生们能做到服从团队安排、遵纪有礼,在还嗨玩一天中体验了多元文化的碰撞与融合,开拓了视野;在八达岭长城的攀登中,学生们没有放弃的,在不断攀登中感受到了中华民族的伟大与坚强,在登到第五烽火台时成就感也油然而生;在参观北京大学,以及跟北大学子的交流中,学生们收获了宝贵的学习经验和人生感悟,对美好未来的憧憬又多了几分。


At the Tiananmen Square Flag-Raising Ceremony, every student assembled punctually at 2:30 AM, their neatly worn Young Pioneers scarves; profoundly moved by the solemnity of the occasion, both teachers and students felt a deep surge of patriotism. During visits to the National Museum of China and the Palace Museum, students immersed themselves in the tapestry of Chinese civilization and its core cultural concepts by seeing rich artifacts and historical archives. The fourth day at Universal Studios Beijing had students in groups, exploring under teacher supervision alone, demonstrating exemplary discipline and courtesy while enjoying cultural convergence during their exciting adventures. The ascent of the Badaling Great Wall tested their resolve, yet every student persevered; on reaching the fifth watchtower, they felt the greatness and resilience of the Chinese nation, culminating in a powerful sense of achievement. Finally,  with a visit to Peking University, interactions with PKU students provided invaluable academic insights and life perspectives, further fueling their aspirations for a bright future.

文明纪律与团结合作

Civility, Discipline, and Collaborative Spirit


在这次研学之旅中,学生们表现出了极高的文明纪律和团结合作精神。他们严格遵守研学纪律,不携带任何电子产品,倾听导游和老师的讲解,积极参与各项活动。在旅途中,学生们相互包容、团结协作、互帮互助,共同克服了各种困难和挑战。每晚的复盘会上,学生们均能在老师的带领下认真总结当天的表现,反思不足并提出改进办法,展现出了良好的自我管理和反思能力


Throughout the study tour, students demonstrated exceptional civility, discipline, and teamwork. They strictly adhered to tour regulations, refrained from bringing electronic devices, actively listened to guides and teachers, and participated earnestly in all activities. During the journey, students showed mutual understanding, solidarity, and cooperation, supporting one another to overcome various challenges. Each evening, during structured debriefing sessions guided by teachers, they conscientiously reflected on each day, identified areas for improvement, and proposed solutions, showcasing strong self-management and critical reflection skills.

在这次研学之旅中,老师们付出了巨大的努力和心血。他们时刻关注学生的安全、纪律和守时情况,提醒学生的物品携带。在旅途中,老师们不仅扮演着引导者和照顾者的角色,更是学生们的大朋友,在一起旅行和生活的几天里师生情谊更加浓厚。


Beyond student growth, teachers invested tremendous dedication throughout the expedition. They maintained constant vigilance over student safety, discipline, and punctuality, while ensuring essential belongings were accounted for. On the journey, teachers served not only as guides and caregivers but also as mentors and companions. These shared days of travel and communal living significantly deepened the bonds between teachers and students.

 

京华揽胜,收获成长硕果

Beijing: Where Exploration Met Growth


研学落幕之际,杨帆校长专程赴京出席毕业旅行晚会并致辞,为旅程圆满收官。回顾六年成长,她指出:同学们从稚嫩孩童蜕变为独立探索的少年,而“身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越,具有家国情怀和国际视野,敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”这一校训,始终是成长的指引与量尺。谈及感恩,她强调:父母的奉献、师长的耕耘、同伴的支持,共同托举了成长,这份感恩之心应成为一生的精神财富。


As the study tour drew to a close, Principal Yang Fan traveled to Beijing to attend the final days of the Graduation Trip Gala and deliver a closing address. Reflecting on the students' six-year journey, she remarked on their transformation from young children into independent explorers, guided always by the school’s core mission: to cultivate “Chinese citizens who are physically vibrant, intellectually excellent, and morally grounded; who cherish their homeland while embracing the world; and who possess the courage to proactively shape a better future.” Expressing gratitude, she emphasized that the unwavering support of parents, the dedication of teachers, and the camaraderie of peers have been the bedrock of their growth—a debt of gratitude to be cherished forever.

面向未来,她提出三点期许:保持PBL式的探索热情,以好奇心持续追问世界;将“责任”刻入生命底色,勇于担当;以包容姿态与世界对话,与他人合作、与自己和解。“成功非一日之功,但只要开始,便有收获。”她以研学为例鼓励:人生如长途,需保持目标感,坚持学习与成长,道路自会越走越宽。 最后,她以“读万卷书,行万里路”寄语:“愿今日的旅途成为明日的序章,今日以母校为荣,明日母校必以你们为傲!”掌声中,校长的致辞为这场成长之旅写下温暖注脚。


Looking ahead, Principal Yang shared three aspirations: first, to sustain the spirit of PBL inquiry, approaching the world with perpetual curiosity; second, to embody responsibility as a core life value, embracing it with courage; third, to engage the world with openness, fostering collaboration with others to find the inner harmony within. “Success is built step by step,” she encouraged, using the study tour as a metaphor, “Life is a long journey. Maintain your purpose, persist in learning and growth, and the path will widen before you.”Concluding with the ancient adage, “Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles,” she inspired the graduates: “May today's journey herald tomorrow’s chapter; carry your alma mater proudly in your hearts today, so that tomorrow, your alma mater may beam with pride in you!” Her words, met with resounding applause, provided a profoundly warm finale to this pivotal journey.

这次北京研学之旅对六年级师生来说具有重大意义。它不仅让学生们在实践中检验了PBL研究成果,更让他们在旅途中收获了宝贵的知识和经验、锻炼了意志和品质、增强了团队合作精神和爱国情怀。同时,这次研学之旅也充分展示了学校坚持“身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越,具有家国情怀和国际视野,敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”的培养(成长)目标和坚持“让孩子站在未来中央”的办学理念。通过这次活动,学校的教育目标和理念得到了进一步的升华和肯定,六年级师生也留下了终身难忘的珍贵回忆。


This Beijing Study Tour held immense significance for the Grade 6 students and teachers. It served not only as the culmination of their PBL research but also as a vessel for invaluable knowledge, strengthening of character, honing of resilience, enhancing teamwork, and deepening patriotism. Simultaneously, the tour vividly embodied the school’s educational vision: nurturing citizens of China with good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism, international vision and the courage to create a better future, and steadfastly upholding its philosophy of “let our children experience the future.” Through this experience, the school’s goals and ideals were powerfully reaffirmed and elevated, leaving both teachers and students with indelible, lifelong memories.

Good evening! It brings me great joy to see you all here! First, on behalf of the school, I extend our highest respect to the teachers for their tireless dedication. Students, please join me in expressing gratitude to your teachers!


Today, we gather in Beijing for the Graduation Trip Gala of the Class of 2025. On behalf of Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School, I offer my warmest congratulations to all sixth-grade students! Congratulations on realizing this dream! Those who designed the Beijing itinerary must feel this achievement particularly deeply – you had the unique privilege of witnessing your ideas progress from conception, through research and design, to practical implementation. Perfect!


Reflecting on these six years, your journey of growth resonates like a beautiful melody. Dear students, you once entered the iconic white building of Vanke Bilingual School with youthful smiles. Here, you explored the wonders of the world – cultivating independent thought in the classroom and showcasing your talents through diverse activities. You have measured every step of your growth in relation to our school's core mission: to become citizens of China with good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism, international vision and the courage to create a better future.


These six years were not walked alone. Let us express our profound appreciation: first, to your parents, whose unconditional love and steadfast support have provided a warm harbor; second, to your teachers, who served not only as transmitters of knowledge but as dedicated beacons of guidance, illuminating your path forward through their tireless commitment; and third, to your cherished peers, the companions who shared moments of laughter, tears, and unwavering camaraderie along the journey. Remember, dear students: Begin, and you shall reap rewards. Just like this journey – immerse yourselves fully, and you will understand that true success is never effortless. Yet, by persevering without surrender, you will accomplish your tasks and reach your destinations as planned. Beyond student growth, teachers invested tremendous dedication throughout the expedition. They maintained constant vigilance over student safety, discipline, and punctuality, while ensuring essential belongings were accounted for. On the journey, teachers served not only as guides and caregivers but also as mentors and companions. These shared days of travel and communal living significantly deepened the bonds between teachers and students.

 

京华揽胜,收获成长硕果

Beijing: Where Exploration Met Growth


研学落幕之际,杨帆校长专程赴京出席毕业旅行晚会并致辞,为旅程圆满收官。回顾六年成长,她指出:同学们从稚嫩孩童蜕变为独立探索的少年,而“身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越,具有家国情怀和国际视野,敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”这一校训,始终是成长的指引与量尺。谈及感恩,她强调:父母的奉献、师长的耕耘、同伴的支持,共同托举了成长,这份感恩之心应成为一生的精神财富。


As the study tour drew to a close, Principal Yang Fan traveled to Beijing to attend the final days of the Graduation Trip Gala and deliver a closing address. Reflecting on the students' six-year journey, she remarked on their transformation from young children into independent explorers, guided always by the school’s core mission: to cultivate “Chinese citizens who are physically vibrant, intellectually excellent, and morally grounded; who cherish their homeland while embracing the world; and who possess the courage to proactively shape a better future.” Expressing gratitude, she emphasized that the unwavering support of parents, the dedication of teachers, and the camaraderie of peers have been the bedrock of their growth—a debt of gratitude to be cherished forever.

面向未来,她提出三点期许:保持PBL式的探索热情,以好奇心持续追问世界;将“责任”刻入生命底色,勇于担当;以包容姿态与世界对话,与他人合作、与自己和解。“成功非一日之功,但只要开始,便有收获。”她以研学为例鼓励:人生如长途,需保持目标感,坚持学习与成长,道路自会越走越宽。 最后,她以“读万卷书,行万里路”寄语:“愿今日的旅途成为明日的序章,今日以母校为荣,明日母校必以你们为傲!”掌声中,校长的致辞为这场成长之旅写下温暖注脚。


Looking ahead, Principal Yang shared three aspirations: first, to sustain the spirit of PBL inquiry, approaching the world with perpetual curiosity; second, to embody responsibility as a core life value, embracing it with courage; third, to engage the world with openness, fostering collaboration with others to find the inner harmony within. “Success is built step by step,” she encouraged, using the study tour as a metaphor, “Life is a long journey. Maintain your purpose, persist in learning and growth, and the path will widen before you.”Concluding with the ancient adage, “Read ten thousand books, travel ten thousand miles,” she inspired the graduates: “May today's journey herald tomorrow’s chapter; carry your alma mater proudly in your hearts today, so that tomorrow, your alma mater may beam with pride in you!” Her words, met with resounding applause, provided a profoundly warm finale to this pivotal journey.

这次北京研学之旅对六年级师生来说具有重大意义。它不仅让学生们在实践中检验了PBL研究成果,更让他们在旅途中收获了宝贵的知识和经验、锻炼了意志和品质、增强了团队合作精神和爱国情怀。同时,这次研学之旅也充分展示了学校坚持“身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越,具有家国情怀和国际视野,敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”的培养(成长)目标和坚持“让孩子站在未来中央”的办学理念。通过这次活动,学校的教育目标和理念得到了进一步的升华和肯定,六年级师生也留下了终身难忘的珍贵回忆。


This Beijing Study Tour held immense significance for the Grade 6 students and teachers. It served not only as the culmination of their PBL research but also as a vessel for invaluable knowledge, strengthening of character, honing of resilience, enhancing teamwork, and deepening patriotism. Simultaneously, the tour vividly embodied the school’s educational vision: nurturing citizens of China with good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism, international vision and the courage to create a better future, and steadfastly upholding its philosophy of “let our children experience the future.” Through this experience, the school’s goals and ideals were powerfully reaffirmed and elevated, leaving both teachers and students with indelible, lifelong memories.

今天,我们在北京相聚,共同参加2025届六年级同学的毕业旅行晚会。我代表学校向全体六年级同学表示最热烈的祝贺!祝贺你们梦想成真!此次设计北京线的同学一定感触更深!你们有幸见证了自己从提出设想、研究、学习、设计到实践检验的全过程。Perfect!


回首六年,成长如歌。同学们,曾经,你们带着稚嫩的笑脸走进万科双语的大白楼。在这里,你们探索世界的奥秘——在课堂中独立思考,在活动中展现才华。你们用“成为身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越,具有家国情怀和国际视野,敢于创造美好未来的中国公民”的校训丈量成长的每一步。

同学们,在读大学之前,未来的六年你们面对的现实就是像你们在万双经历的这样:在该学习的年纪到学校,爸爸妈妈负责工作,用薪水支付你们成长中所需的一切支出;你们面对辛苦的学习,这是你们的责任和义务,在学习中你就学会了担当;你们运用所学的各门学科的知识去解决现实中的各种问题,你就学会了生活;你们要在各种集体生活中与各种不同性格的人相处,你就学会了合作。


在即将开始你们人生新旅程的起点,作为校长,我有三点希望:

1.保持好奇:像PBL探究一样,永远对世界充满追问;

2.勇于担当:无论走到哪里,都记得“责任”是双语学子最闪亮的标签;

3.拥抱多元:用包容和尊重与世界交流,与他人合作,与自己相处。


同学们,只要开始了,就会有收获。就像这次的旅行,身处其中,你就会体会到,没有随随便便的成功,但只要一直不放弃,你就能按要求完成任务,按时间到达目的地。所以,孩子们,以后的日子里,一直有目标,一直做,一直学,你的人生之路就越来越宽,越来越美好!读万卷书,行万里路!孩子们,愿你们留下此次旅行的难忘经历,带着对未来的期待,一路狂奔!

Dear Teachers and Students,

Good evening! It brings me great joy to see you all here! First, on behalf of the school, I extend our highest respect to the teachers for their tireless dedication. Students, please join me in expressing gratitude to your teachers!


Today, we gather in Beijing for the Graduation Trip Gala of the Class of 2025. On behalf of Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School, I offer my warmest congratulations to all sixth-grade students! Congratulations on realizing this dream! Those who designed the Beijing itinerary must feel this achievement particularly deeply – you had the unique privilege of witnessing your ideas progress from conception, through research and design, to practical implementation. Perfect!


Reflecting on these six years, your journey of growth resonates like a beautiful melody. Dear students, you once entered the iconic white building of Vanke Bilingual School with youthful smiles. Here, you explored the wonders of the world – cultivating independent thought in the classroom and showcasing your talents through diverse activities. You have measured every step of your growth in relation to our school's core mission: to become citizens of China with good physical health, sound personality, excellent academic abilities, patriotism, international vision and the courage to create a better future.


These six years were not walked alone. Let us express our profound appreciation: first, to your parents, whose unconditional love and steadfast support have provided a warm harbor; second, to your teachers, who served not only as transmitters of knowledge but as dedicated beacons of guidance, illuminating your path forward through their tireless commitment; and third, to your cherished peers, the companions who shared moments of laughter, tears, and unwavering camaraderie along the journey. Gratitude – this profound sense of appreciation – stands as an enduring life lesson Vanke Bilingual School seeks to instill within you.


Dear students, in the six years ahead before university, your reality will mirror your VBS experience: attending school during these vital learning years, supported by parents who work diligently to provide for your needs; embracing the rigors of study as your fundamental responsibility and duty – it is here you cultivate accountability; applying knowledge across disciplines to solve real-world problems – it is here you master the art of living; and navigating diverse group dynamics while interacting with individuals of all temperaments – it is here you develop essential collaborative skills.


As you stand at the threshold of this new chapter, I share three hopes as your Principal: First, sustain your curiosity – approach the world with perpetual questioning, just as you engaged in Project-Based Learning (PBL); Second, embrace responsibility with courage – wherever your path leads, remember that "Responsibility" is the most luminous hallmark of a Vanke Bilingual graduate; Third, champion diversity – engage the world with inclusivity and respect, fostering collaboration with others and cultivating harmony within yourselves.


Remember, dear students: Begin, and you shall reap rewards. Just like this journey – immerse yourselves fully, and you will understand that true success is never effortless. Yet, by persevering without surrender, you will accomplish your tasks and reach your destinations as planned. Therefore, children, in the days to come: maintain your purpose, persist in your actions, and commit to lifelong learning. Your path will broaden and grow ever more splendid!

"Read ten thousand books; travel ten thousand miles." May the unforgettable memories of this journey stay with you, dear children, as you charge forward into the future, hearts alight with anticipation!
