万双网讯  2025年6月16日上午8时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第二学期第十九周升旗仪式在操场举行。本周升旗仪式由1C班和1E班承担，林婉清同学和唐诗茜同学担任主持人。

At 8 a.m. on June 16th, 2025, the flag - raising ceremony of the nineteenth week in the second semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year of Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School was held on the playground. This week’s flag - raising ceremony was undertaken by Class 1C and Class 1E, and Mia and Via served as the hosts.

在国旗下演讲中，1C班的于思洋、黄小米和1E班的文野、刘峻杨四位同学以“好奇心与成功同行，拥抱多元世界的每一束光”为主题，分享了他们的学习与成长感悟。他们讲述了在科学家日活动中，同学们通过“i”问卡提出诸如“星星为什么会眨眼？”“植物能听到音乐吗？”等充满好奇心的问题，学会提问成为他们探索世界的超能力。在PBL课程中，他们化身小小海洋探索家，对海洋生物的发光与带电现象展开追问与探究，体验到了成功的快乐。此外，他们还提到VBS社团的多样性，如英歌舞社团传播潮汕文化，二次元社团彰显创新活力，让他们明白理解差异才能实现真正团结。四位同学呼吁大家永葆好奇心，尊重每一种文化，绽放自己的光芒，共筑光明未来。

In their speeches under the national flag, Eric and Jim from Class 1E, along with Jane and Emily from Class 1C shared their learning and insights on growth with the theme of“Curiosity goes hand in hand with success. Embrace every light in a diverse world”. They recounted that during the Scientist Day event, students asked questions such as “Why do stars blink?” and “Can plants hear music?” through their “I” question cards. Learning to ask questions became their superpower to explore the world. In PBL class, students became little ocean explorers, questioning and exploring the luminescence phenomena of marine organisms, and experienced the joy of their success. Furthermore, they also mentioned the diversity of the VBS clubs such as the Yingge dance club that spreads Chaoshan culture, and the two-dimensional club that demonstrates its innovative vitality. These made them all see that understanding differences is the only way to achieve true unity. The four students called on everyone to always be curious, respect every culture, shine with their own light, and build a brighter future together。

仪式最后，在全体师生的注视下，孙晓萌老师宣布了第17-18周获得“金海豚”荣誉的班级。“金海豚”荣誉不仅是对班级纪律、活动、学习等多方面表现的肯定，更是对同学们团结协作、努力奋进的最高褒奖。

At the end of the assembly, Ms Sun Xiaomeng announced the list of classes that won the honor of “Golden Dolphin” for the 17th and 18th weeks. The honor of “Golden Dolphin” is not only an affirmation of class discipline, participation in activities, and learning ability, but is also the highest praise for students’unity and cooperation.

Dear teachers and students, good morning! They are Eric and Jim from Class 1E.  We are Jane and Emily from Class 1C. Today, our speech topic is “Curiosity and Success Go Hand in Hand, Embrace Every Light in Our Diverse World.”

尊敬的老师们，亲爱的同学们：他们是1C班的于思洋、黄小米。我们是1E班的文野、刘峻杨。今日演讲主题："好奇心与成功同行，拥抱多元世界的每一束光。"

The world is so magical!  For Scientist’s Day, we wrote down questions on the “I” question card, just like young researchers. We wonder why stars twinkle and if plants can feel music.

这个世界很神奇！在科学家日，我们像小研究员一样，在“I”问卡上写下我们的疑问。  

我们好奇“星星为什么会眨眼？”,“植物能听到音乐吗？”

Asking questions is our superpower!

In PBL class, we become ocean explorers!  

We asked “Which ocean animals glow in the dark?”,  

“What kinds of fish can make electricity?”  

When we uncover secrets together, we can experience the joy of discovery!

学会提问是我们的超能力！在PBL课上，我们化身为小小海洋探索家，追问，海洋里有哪些生物会发光？有哪些鱼会带电？当我们一起去探究背后的秘密时，我们体验到了成功的快乐。

Diversity makes our community stronger.   

In VBS, we have all kinds of communities,

like Yingge Dance Club which shares Chaoshan culture,

and ACGN Club which shines with innovation!

These clubs teach us that understanding differences makes true unity.

多样性让集体更强大。在VBS，我们有各种各样的社团，像铿锵有力的英歌舞社团传播潮汕文化，天马行空的二次元社团彰显创新活力。让小小的我们明白了，理解差异方能实现真正团结。

Let's promise today: keep wondering, respect every culture and shine with our unique light! Together, we can build a brighter tomorrow!
