万双网讯  2025年6月10日，深圳科技馆报告厅座无虚席，诺贝尔生理学或医学奖得主厄尔内温教授（Prof. Erwin Neher）为现场观众带来了一场精彩的科学讲座。深圳万科双语学校的16名优秀学子在老师的带领下参加了此次活动，近距离感受了大师的智慧与科学探索的魅力。

On June 10th, 2025, the Shenzhen Science Museum was filled to capacity as Professor Erwin Neher, a Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine, delivered a captivating scientific lecture for the audience. Sixteen outstanding students from Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School, accompanied by their teachers, participated in this event, gaining a close encounter with the wisdom and allure of scientific exploration.

厄尔内温教授以其开创性的研究——发现细胞离子通道及发展膜片钳技术而闻名。在讲座中，他生动回顾了自己的科研历程，分享了如何通过精密实验揭示细胞膜上离子通道的运作机制，以及这一发现对神经科学、心脏病学和药物研发等领域的深远影响。他的研究不仅为理解癫痫、心律失常等疾病提供了理论基础，也开辟了精准医疗的新路径。

Professor Neher is renowned for his groundbreaking research on discovering ion channels in cells and developing patch-clamp technology. During the lecture, he vividly recounted his research journey, sharing how precise experiments revealed the mechanisms of ion channel operations on cell membranes and the profound impact of this discovery on fields such as neuroscience, cardiology, and drug development. His research not only provided a theoretical foundation for understanding diseases like epilepsy and arrhythmias but also paved the way for more precise medicine.

讲座期间，万科双语学校的学子们屏息凝神，全神贯注地记录着每一个知识点，眼中闪烁着对科学的浓厚兴趣与好奇。互动环节更是将气氛推向高潮。蒋欣桐同学凭借流利的英语表达和深入的问题思考，勇敢地站出来提问：“教授您好，请问在研究离子通道与疾病关联时，如何将基础研究成果有效应用于临床诊断？这些发现又将如何指导靶向药物的研发？”

Throughout the lecture, the students from VBS listened attentively, focusing intently on recording each piece of knowledge, their eyes shining with interest and curiosity about science. The interactive segment of the event reached a peak when student Sophia, with her fluent English and in-depth problem-solving, bravely stood up to ask, “Hello, Professor. May I ask how to effectively apply basic research results to clinical diagnosis when studying the correlation between ion channels and diseases? How can these discoveries guide the development of targeted drugs?”

厄尔内温教授高度评价了蒋欣桐的问题，并耐心细致地给予了解答。他强调了基础研究与临床医学结合的重要性，指出跨学科合作是推动医学进步的关键。同时，他分享了离子通道研究如何为药物研发提供精准靶点，使治疗更为高效、副作用更低。教授的回答不仅解答了学子们的疑惑，更在他们心中播下了科学应用与创新的种子，激发了他们对科学应用的深层思考。

Professor Neher praised Sophia’s question and patiently and meticulously answered it. He emphasized the importance of linking basic research with clinical medicine and pointed out that interdisciplinary collaboration is the key to advancing medical progress. He also shared how research on ion channels provides precise targets for drug development, making treatments more effective and reducing its side effects. The professor’s response not only addressed the students’ inquiries but also inspired innovation in their minds, allowing them to more deeply contemplate scientific applications.
