Throughout the lecture, the students from VBS listened attentively, focusing intently on recording each piece of knowledge, their eyes shining with interest and curiosity about science. The interactive segment of the event reached a peak when student Sophia, with her fluent English and in-depth problem-solving, bravely stood up to ask, “Hello, Professor. May I ask how to effectively apply basic research results to clinical diagnosis when studying the correlation between ion channels and diseases? How can these discoveries guide the development of targeted drugs?”
