【国旗下的讲话】 VBS举办2024-2025学年第二学期第十七周升旗仪式

万双网讯  2025年6月3日上午8时,梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第二学期第十七周升旗仪式在操场举行。本周升旗仪式由6O班和6V班承担,佟泽雨同学和刘欣怡同学担任主持人。


At 8 a.m. on June 3, 2025, the 17th Week Flag-raising Ceremony of the Second Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year of Vanke Bilingual School (VBS) under Meisha Education was held on the playground. This week’s flag-raising ceremony was undertaken by Class 6O and Class 6V, with Tony and Lisa serving as the hosts.

迎着朝阳,在庄严的国旗下,六年级6O班的周桐晖(Tommy)、李知本(Andy)、刘任馨(Amy)、梁佳睿(Anna)四位同学,围绕“艾香千载话衷肠,传统文化溯流光”这一主题,进行了精彩的国旗下讲话。他们从刚刚过去的端午节说起,回忆了赛龙舟的热烈场景和包粽子的温馨时刻,呼吁大家要传承中华民族传统节日文化。他们认为,传承传统文化首先要了解节日背后的文化内涵,探寻其历史渊源,让传统与现代紧密融合。其次,要积极参与传统节日活动,通过亲身参与感受节日乐趣,加深对传统文化的理解和热爱。这与学校培养具有家国情怀和国际视野的中国公民的目标紧密相连,能增强对祖国的认同感和归属感,培养家国情怀。同学们强调,传统文化如同包裹粽子的棉线,看似柔软却坚韧绵长,将过去、现在与未来紧紧相连,是我们文化自信的重要源泉。在多元文化的浪潮中,我们要站稳脚跟,坚定地走自己的路。最后,他们用屈原的“路漫漫其修远兮,吾将上下而求索”与大家共勉,希望每位同学都能成为文明长河里奔涌向前的浪花,让古老节日在新时代焕发新活力,筑牢文化自信,为中华民族伟大复兴贡献力量

 

Facing the rising sun and standing under the solemn national flag, four students from Class 6O of Grade 6—Tommy, Andy, Amy, and Anna—delivered a wonderful speech on the theme of “A Thousand Years of Mugwort Fragrance: Voicing Sentiments, Tracing the Flow of Traditional Culture”. Starting from the recent Dragon Boat Festival, they recalled a lively scene of dragon boat races and the warm moments of making zongzi, calling on everyone to inherit the traditional festival culture of the Chinese nation. They believed that inheriting traditional culture first requires understanding of the cultural connotations behind the festivals, exploring their historical origins, and allowing tradition to be closely integrated with modernity. Secondly, we should actively participate in traditional festival activities, experiencing the joy of festivals through personal involvement to deepen our understanding and love for traditional culture. This is closely aligned with the school's goal of cultivating Chinese citizens with a sense of national pride and global vision, which can enhance our sense of national identity and belonging, and nurture feelings for home and country. The students emphasized that traditional culture is like the cord wrapped around zongzi (seemingly soft yet tough and enduring)—connecting the past, present, and future tightly, serving as an important source of our cultural confidence. In a new wave of multiculturalism, we must stand firm and resolutely follow our own path. Finally, they encouraged everyone with Qu Yuan’s poem “The road ahead is long and arduous, yet I will search high and low”, hoping that every student can become a surging tide in the long river of civilization, allowing ancient festivals to radiate new vitality in the new era, strengthening cultural confidence, and contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

在时事分享环节,派驻第一书记刘晓娟老师以航天事业的两大成就为引,向同学们介绍了长征四号乙运载火箭搭载实践二十六号卫星成功发射以及长征三号乙运载火箭携天问二号探测器升空的壮举。刘老师鼓励同学们做探索者,每周阅读科技新闻,关注“中国科技网”公众号;做实践者,加入学校科技社团,动手验证创意;做思考者,在课堂中积极提问,追寻真理。同时,她希望同学们铭记“科技星河中,每一束微光都是民族的希望”,以青春之名,勇攀创新之峰,让五星红旗在未来科技的巅峰闪耀


In the current affairs sharing session, Teacher Liu Xiaojuan, the dispatched First Secretary, took two major achievements in the aerospace industry as a starting point to introduce the students to the feats of the Long March 4B carrier rocket that successfully launched the Shijian 26 satellite and the Long March 3B carrier rocket that carried the Tianwen 2 probe into the sky.Teacher Liu encouraged students to be explorers: read science and technology news every week and follow the “China Science and Technology Network” official account; be practitioners: join the school’s science and technology clubs to pursue creative ideas through hands-on practice; be thinkers: actively ask questions in class and chase truth. Meanwhile, she hoped that students would bear in mind that "in the galaxy of science and technology, every glimmer of light is a reflection of the hope of the nation”. Everyone should bravely climb the peak of innovation, so that the Five-star Red Flag will shine at the summit.

仪式最后,在全体师生的注视下,孙晓萌老师宣布了第15-16周获得“金海豚”荣誉的班级。这庄严而神圣的时刻,激励着每一位学子奋发向上,为祖国的繁荣昌盛贡献自己的力量。


At the end of the ceremony, under the gaze of all teachers and students, Teacher Sun Xiaomeng announced the classes that won the“Golden Dolphin” honor for Weeks 15-16. In this solemn and sacred moment, every student was inspired to strive for progress, and contribute their strength to the prosperity of the motherland.

尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们:

大家好!我是6O班的李知本、我是6O班周桐晖.

今天,我们演讲的主题是“艾香千载话衷肠,传统文化溯流光”。

端午节已过,但那份文化韵味仍萦绕心间。不知大家是如何向亲朋好友送祝福的呢?一句“端午安康”,不仅是对节日的祝愿,更蕴含了古人对健康、平安的深切祈盼。端午节正值夏季,古人通过赛龙舟、挂艾草等习俗,纪念屈原,祈求安康。

赛龙舟的热烈场景,想必大家记忆犹新。龙舟如箭,鼓声震天,而包粽子,则是端午节不可或缺的环节。翠绿的粽叶包裹着糯米与馅料,煮熟后香气四溢。

 

Dear teachers and classmates,

Good morning! We are Anna and Amy from Class 6O.

Today, we'll talk about "The Beauty of Chinese Traditions".

Though the Dragon Boat Festival just passed, its special feeling stays with us. When we say "Happy Dragon Boat Festival", we're continuing an old wish for health that began 2,000 years ago. People celebrate by racing dragon boats (fast like flying arrows!), hanging wormwood leaves and making sticky rice zongzi.

 

那么,我们应该如何传承中华民族传统节日文化呢?首先要了解节日背后的文化内涵,探寻其历史渊源,了解习俗,让传统与现代紧密融合。比如,春节贴春联、放鞭炮,是为了驱赶“年”兽,祈求平安;中秋节赏月、吃月饼,则是为了寄托对亲人的思念之情。其次,我们要积极参与传统节日的活动。比如:在端午节,我们可以与家人一起包粽子、做香囊;在元宵节,我们可以赏花灯、猜灯谜。通过亲身参与,感受节日的乐趣,加深对传统文化的理解和热爱。

 

How to keep our traditions alive? We should learn the history and stories first. For example,at the Spring Festival, people use red decorations to scare away monsters. At the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes show family love. Second, we should join the fun, make zongzi with family and solve lantern riddles. By participating, we can experience the joy of festivals and deepen our understanding and love for traditional culture.

 

万科双语学校的培养目标之一是培养具有家国情怀和国际视野的中国公民。弘扬中国传统节日文化,与这一目标紧密相连。通过传承和弘扬传统文化,能增强对祖国的认同感和归属感,培养深厚的家国情怀,着眼于民族的、世界的未来。


老师们、同学们,今年端午节已过,但文化依然留香。传统文化如同包裹粽子的棉线,看似柔软却坚韧绵长,将过去、现在与未来紧紧相连。传统文化是我们文化自信的重要源泉,当我们对自己的传统节日文化充满自豪和自信时,我们就能在多元文化的浪潮中站稳脚跟,坚定地走自己的路。


At Vanke Bilingual School, our mission is to raise students who love China and understand the world. Traditional festivals teach us to be proud of our roots while looking ahead to a bright future. By keeping our traditions alive, we grow closer to our country and carry forward its spirit with confidence.


Though this Dragon Boat Festival has ended, its meaning stays with us forever. Our culture is like the string that holds zongzi together — soft but strong, connecting yesterday, today, and tomorrow. When we treasure our traditions, we stand tall in this diverse world and walk our own path bravely.
