万双网讯   2025年5月26日上午8时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第二学期第十六周升旗仪式在操场举行。本周升旗仪式由7G班和7I班承担，唐果同学和简易同学担任主持人。

At 8 a.m. on May 26th, 2025, the flag - raising ceremony of the sixteenth week in the second semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year of Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School was held on the playground. This week’s flag - raising ceremony was undertaken by Class 7G and Class 7I, and Candy and James served as the hosts.

今日的升旗仪式上，第五届科学家日开幕式如期举行。杨帆校长以三个关键词剖析其内涵，她谈到过去两周同学们踊跃提交 “i 问卡”，问题五花八门，从飞机翱翔之理到梦境编织之谜，尽显万双学子好奇心。她指出科学发现源于质疑，鼓励传承科学家精神，以钱学森、屠呦呦为楷模。

For today’s flag-raising ceremony, the opening of the 5th Scientists’Day was held. Principal Yang analyzed its connotation with three key words. She said students raised questions and handed in the i-Question cards, which included a wide variety of questions. The questions were about the principles of airplane flight and the mystery of dreams, which sparked students’ curiosity. She pointed out that scientific discoveries originate from questioning, and encouraged emulating the spirit of scientists, taking Qian Xuesen and Tu Youyou as models.

杨校分享道，万双的 “科学家日”是国家战略“科技自立自强”的微缩实践，收集问题、组建科学传播员、邀请顶尖学者，为学生提供攀登科学高峰的云梯、遨游智慧海洋的方舟。

Principal Yang shared that VBS Scientists’ Day is a miniature practice of the national strategy of “self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology.”Collecting questions, calling upon science lecturers and inviting top scholars to provide students with a ladder to climb the peak of scientific wisdom.

杨校总结称，“科学家日”不仅是节日，更是一面镜子，映照出同学们的求知欲、民族的探索基因，以及科学精神浇筑的未来中国。她期望同学们以问题为矛、实践为盾，在科技星海中留下独特航迹。

Principal Yang concluded that VBS Scientists’ Day is not only a festival, but also a mirror, reflecting each students’ curiosity, the explorative passion of the nation, and the future of China filled by the spirit of science. She hopes that the students will take problems and practice as tools to leave a unique mark in the field of science and technology.

晨曦微露，一场特别的科学家日启动仪式点燃师生热情。科学老师们化身 “奇幻魔术师”，用四个精彩实验将操场变成科学狂欢地。“大象牙膏”实验中，彩色泡沫喷涌如火山，引得尖叫；伯努利原理实验里，气流托起管道乒乓球，现场欢呼雷动。人体静电实验扣人心弦，莱顿瓶蓄满电荷，触碰瞬间惊呼四起。压轴的人体导电实验将氛围推向高潮，四位学生手拉手点亮灯泡，操场瞬间沸腾。科学老师动情说道：“松开手，光明或暂灭；但握紧探索热情，你们就是未来的掌灯人，用科学照亮未知之境。”随着电流在欢笑惊叹中消失，科学的种子已在少年心间悄然生根。

In the morning, a special inaugural ceremony for Scientists’ Day ignited the enthusiasm of teachers and students. The science teachers became “fantasy magicians” and turned the playground into a science carnival with four exciting experiments. In the “elephant toothpaste” experiment, colorful foam gushed out like a volcano, causing students and teachers to scream; In Bernoulli’s principle experiment, air flow held up a ping-pong ball, and everyone cheered; The human electrostatic experiment was exciting. A Leyden bottle was full of electric charge, and any who touched it shouted instantly. The finale of the human conductivity experiment pushed the atmosphere to a climax. Four students held out hands to light up lightbulbs with their touch. All the teachers and students on the playground cheered. The science teachers said emotionally: “Free your hand, to light or extinguish, but grasp the enthusiasm for exploration, and you will be the ones who will hold the lamp of the future. Please illuminate the unknown with science” As the electric current flowing from the stage vanished in laughter and exclamation, the seeds of science had quietly taken root in the students’ heart.

大家早上好！ 今天，我们迎着晨光相聚在此，共同迎接万双一年一度的“科学家日”——这个镌刻着探索基因、承载着未来使命的特别时刻！明天（5月27日）的活动已蓄势待发，此刻，我想以三个关键词，与大家分享这份期待背后的深意。

Good morning! Today, we gathered here in the morning light to welcome the annual Scientists’ Day of VBS, which is a special moment engraved with exploration and carrying the mission of the future!  The activities of tomorrow (May 27th) are ready. Now, I want to use three key words to share their meaning with you.

一、叩问：从“i问卡”中听见思想拔节的声音

Making inquiries： to hear the sound of thinking from the i-Question cards

过去两周，你们的“i问卡”如雪片般纷至沓来：“飞机为何翱翔天际？”“梦境如何编织幻象？”“动物是否也会思考人生？”……这些天马行空的问题，让我看到了万双学子最珍贵的品质——永不熄灭的好奇心。

Over the past two weeks, your i-Question cards have been pouring in like snowflakes: Why can airplanes fly?  How do dreams weave illusions? Can animals also think about life? These questions let me feel the most precious quality of VBS students- unquenchable curiosity.

科学史上每一个划时代的发现，都始于对“理所当然”的质疑。犹太人的孩子放学回家，妈妈一定会问：今天你提出什么问题了？2300年前战国诗人屈原的《天问》从自然现象，一直问到神话传说乃至圣贤凶顽和治乱兴衰等历史故事，表现了作者对某些传统观念的大胆怀疑，以及追求真理的探索精神。爱因斯坦曾说：“提出问题往往比解决问题更重要。”同学们，当你们写下“近视能否逆转”“合成生物如何重塑生命密码”时，你们已迈出了成为“问题猎手”的第一步。明天，在同学们提的问题中精选的15个问题将化作探索的罗盘，而我们相信：今天的提问者，必是明天的破题人！请各科老师注意，本周各位的课前两分钟都轮流让本班同学说一下自己提出的科学问题，跟同学们分享。

Every epoch-making discovery in the history of science began with the questioning of things “taken for granted”. When Jewish children come home from school, their mothers must ask: “What questions did you ask today?” 2,300 years ago, the Warring States poet Qu Yuan’s “Tianwen” asked about natural phenomena, myths and legends, and even historical stories such as the stubbornness of sages and the rise and fall of chaos, showing the author’s bold skepticism of certain traditional concepts and the spirit of exploration in pursuit of truth. Albert Einstein once said, “Asking questions is often more important than solving them.” Students, when you write down “Can myopia be reversed” and “How can synthetic biology reshape the code of life”, you have taken the first step to become a “problem solver”. Tomorrow, the top 15 selected questions from the students will be turned into a compass for our exploration, and we believe that today’s questioner will be tomorrow’s problem-solver! Teachers, please take turns to ask your students to share their own science questions in the first two minutes of class this week.

二、传承：以科学精神续写文明的火种

Passing on: Carrying on the flame of civilization in the spirit of science.

在“我的科学梦”选拔中，你们讲述钱学森冲破阻挠归国铸箭的故事，分享屠呦呦从古籍中提炼青蒿素的坚持……这些故事不仅是历史的回溯，更是精神的接力。屠呦呦借鉴了东晋时期葛洪所著的《肘后备急方》的低沸点溶剂（乙醚）提取，获得高效改虐成分，这一发现被屠呦呦成为“中医药给世界的礼物”，推动了全球疟疾防治，获得诺贝尔奖。科学从来不是冰冷的公式，而是热血与信仰的交织，，愿同学们传承科学家为了人类生活更加美好的信仰与追求。

In the selection of “My Science Dream”, you told the story of Qian Xuesen’s breakthrough of the obstruction and return to China to cast arrows, and shared Tu Youyou’s persistence in refining artemisini from ancient books...These stories are not only a retrospective of history, but also a relay of spirit. Tu Youyou learned the low-boiling solvent (ether) extraction of Ge Hong’s “Elbow Reserve Emergency Prescription” in the Eastern Jin Dynasty to obtain a highly effective ingredient. This is the present that Tu Youyou said was a “gift of traditional Chinese medicine to the world”. It increased global malaria prevention and control, and won the Nobel Prize. Science is never a cold formula, but an interweaving of blood and faith. I hope that all students will inherit the belief and pursuit of scientists for a better life for humanity.

三、担责：筑造让星星之火燎原的土壤

Taking responsibilities: to till the soil where the sparks can ignite

今日之中国，正以“科技自立自强”为战略支点，撬动民族复兴的杠杆。而万双的“科学家日”，正是这片宏图下的微缩实践：

China is taking “self-reliance and self-improvement in science and technology” as the strategic fulcrum to leverage its national rejuvenation. And Scientists’ Day of VBS is a miniature practice of this grand plan.

· 我们收集问题，因为提出真问题比重复标准答案更重要；

· We collected questions because it’s more important to ask real questions than to repeat standard answers.

· 我们组建科学传播员，因为知识的价值在于流动与共享；

· We called on science lecturers because the value of knowledge lies in communication and sharing.

· 我们邀请顶尖学者，因为前沿科技需要代际接力；

· We invited a top scholar because cutting-edge technology requires expertise.

· 这一切，只为告诉你们：万双不仅教授知识，更愿做你们攀登科学险峰的云梯，遨游智慧瀚海的方舟！

· All of this is just to tell you: VBS not only teaches knowledge, but also wants to be a ladder for you to climb the dangerous peaks of life and provide an ark to navigate the sea of wisdom.

最后，我想说： 万双的“科学家日”不仅是节日，更是一面镜子—— 它照见你们眼中跃动的求知之火，照见民族血脉中传承的探索基因，更照见一个用科学精神浇筑的未来中国。 明天，让我们以问题为矛、以实践为盾，在科技的星辰大海中，烙下属于万双少年的航迹！

Finally, I want to say:“VBS Scientists’ Day is not only a festival, but also a mirror, which illuminates the fire of knowledge that is pulsating in your eyes, for exploration and rekindling the national bloodline, and for a future China built with the spirit of science. In the future, let us take problems and practice as tools, and mark your own path in the sea of stars for science and technology!”
