At 8 a.m. on May 26th, 2025, the flag - raising ceremony of the sixteenth week in the second semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year of Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School was held on the playground. This week’s flag - raising ceremony was undertaken by Class 7G and Class 7I, and Candy and James served as the hosts.
今日的升旗仪式上,第五届科学家日开幕式如期举行。杨帆校长以三个关键词剖析其内涵,她谈到过去两周同学们踊跃提交 “i 问卡”,问题五花八门,从飞机翱翔之理到梦境编织之谜,尽显万双学子好奇心。她指出科学发现源于质疑,鼓励传承科学家精神,以钱学森、屠呦呦为楷模。
For today’s flag-raising ceremony, the opening of the 5th Scientists’Day was held. Principal Yang analyzed its connotation with three key words. She said students raised questions and handed in the i-Question cards, which included a wide variety of questions. The questions were about the principles of airplane flight and the mystery of dreams, which sparked students’ curiosity. She pointed out that scientific discoveries originate from questioning, and encouraged emulating the spirit of scientists, taking Qian Xuesen and Tu Youyou as models.

晨曦微露,一场特别的科学家日启动仪式点燃师生热情。科学老师们化身 “奇幻魔术师”,用四个精彩实验将操场变成科学狂欢地。“大象牙膏”实验中,彩色泡沫喷涌如火山,引得尖叫;伯努利原理实验里,气流托起管道乒乓球,现场欢呼雷动。人体静电实验扣人心弦,莱顿瓶蓄满电荷,触碰瞬间惊呼四起。压轴的人体导电实验将氛围推向高潮,四位学生手拉手点亮灯泡,操场瞬间沸腾。科学老师动情说道:“松开手,光明或暂灭;但握紧探索热情,你们就是未来的掌灯人,用科学照亮未知之境。”随着电流在欢笑惊叹中消失,科学的种子已在少年心间悄然生根。

The science teachers became “fantasy magicians” and turned the playground into a science carnival with four exciting experiments. In the “elephant toothpaste” experiment, colorful foam gushed out like a volcano, causing students and teachers to scream; In Bernoulli’s principle experiment, air flow held up a ping-pong ball, and everyone cheered; The human electrostatic experiment was exciting.
