万双网讯 为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力,提升学生的中英文综合素养,让孩子站在舞台中央,2025年5月12日下午6时,万科双语学校第45期E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。100余名师生现场聆听了演讲。活动同时面向全校师生直播。
In order to improve students’ comprehensive abilities in speech and expression, enhance students’ literacy in Chinese and English, and put children at center stage, the 45th E-talk of Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school theatre at 6:00 p.m. on May 12th, 2025. Over 100 teachers and students attended the event, and it was also live-streamed to the entire school.
本次E-talk活动的主题是“我们伟大的中国”。来自四至六年级的7名同学用英文进行了精彩的演讲。同学们分享了自己在中国制造、交通发展、传统价值观、科技创新及传统节日上的深刻理解与独到观点。评委老师为同学们的精彩表现做了点评。
The theme of this E-talk event is “Our Great China”. Seven students from Grades 4 to 6 gave wonderful presentations in English. The students shared their deep understanding and unique views on products made in China, transportation development, traditional values, technological innovation and traditional festivals. Then the judges commented on the wonderful performances of the students.
6I 王凯熙 Mark:Made in China
来自6I班的Mark同学首先在演讲中分享了他对中国制造的理解。他以美国加征关税为背景,回顾了中国制造的过去,分析了其现状和内涵,并以中国现代科技发展为切入点,进一步探讨了中国制造的现状。在演讲的最后,Mark同学表达了对中国制造的自豪和期待。 评委表示该话题非常有趣,Mark用流利的英语给大家生动地介绍了中国制造的历史及现状,展示了中国日新月异地科技发展变化。评委还赞扬了Mark的发音很棒,并提醒他要注意与观众进行眼神交流。
Mark from Class 6I first shared his understanding of the term ‘Made in China’ in his speech. With the context of the tariffs imposed by the United States, he reviewed the history of the products made in China, analyzed its current situation and connotation, and further discussed the current situation with the development of modern science and technology in China as the focal point. At the end of the speech, Mark expressed his pride and expectation for Made in China. The judges said that the topic was very interesting, and Mark vividly introduced the history and current situation of the products made in China in fluent English, showing the rapid development and changes of science and technology in China. The judges also praised Mark’s great pronunciation, but reminded him to make eye contact with the audience.
6G 邓楷扬Alex,舒奕涵Henry,张奕轩Ryan: Transportation in China
来自6G班的Alex, Henry和Ryan同学共同分享了中国交通业的发展成就。三位同学用流利的英语分别给我们展示了山东航空、武汉公交和重庆出租的发展概况。三位同学通过对地区交通特色的介绍,让我们窥一斑而见全豹,了解到中国交通业的日新月异和迅猛发展。评委表示三位演讲者的分享很有趣,他们生动流畅地向我们展示了中国三种交通方式的发展历程。评委建议演讲者要将目光看向观众,自信从容地展示自我。
Alex, Henry, and Ryan from Class 6G jointly shared on the achievements of China’s transportation development. The three students showed us the development of Shandong Airlines, Wuhan Bus and Chongqing Taxi services in fluent English. Through the introduction of the characteristics of regional transportation, the three students let us see the whole picture and shared about the rapid development of China’s transportation industry. The judges said that the sharing of the three speakers was interesting, and they showed us the development of the three modes of transportation in China vividly and fluently. The judges advised the speakers to look at the audience and present themselves more confidently.
4I 康子骞 Max:What's the biggest Chinese belief ?
来自4I班的Max同学结合有趣的中西方神话故事,给大家分享了中国信仰的内涵。西方神话中,火是神赋予人类的,希腊神话中,火是普罗米修斯偷给人类的。而中国神话中,火却是由智慧人类钻木取火而来。Max用生动的故事突出了中国人自古以来的勇于奋斗,不惧权威的优良传统。评委表示非常享受这个演讲内容 ,它让我们了解了中国一些独特有趣的神话故事,也让我们领略了中国文化思想的魅力。评委还提醒Max在演讲的时候要注意随着演讲内容的推进来翻页,同时要与观众进行眼神交流。
Max from Class 4I shared on the connotation of Chinese beliefs in relation to interesting Western myths. In Western mythology, fire was given to humans by the gods, and in Greek mythology, fire was stolen from humans by Prometheus. In Chinese mythology, fire came from intelligent humans drilling wood to make fire. Max used vivid stories to highlight the fine traditions of the Chinese people who have been brave enough to struggle during ancient times. The judges said that they enjoyed the speech very much, which allowed us to look at some unique and interesting myths and stories in China, and also gave us a taste of the charm of Chinese culture and thinking. The judges also reminded Max to turn the PPT slides and make eye contact with the audience.
5V 何芷琳Amelia:The amazing China
来自5V班的Amelia同学从宏观多角度出发,给大家展示了伟大中国的全貌。她用简洁流畅的语言梳理了中国的历史先贤、民族特色、文化差异及传统节日的概括,同时还介绍了中国在高铁、太空探索和机器人等高科技领域的成就,这一切都离不开中国人民勤劳、团结的优良品质。评委表示能感受到Amelia对中国的热爱,她的演讲的内容生动有趣。评委还提醒她要放慢语速,自信有力地进行表达。
Amelia, a student from Class 5V, showed everyone a picture of great China from a macro perspective. She used concise and fluent language to lay out a summary of China’s historical sages, national characteristics, cultural differences and traditional festivals, while also introducing China’s achievements in high-tech fields such as the high-speed rail, space exploration and robotics, all of which are inseparable because of the excellent quality of the Chinese people’s diligence and unity. The judges said that they could feel Amelia's love for China, and the content of her speech was lively and interesting. The judges also reminded her to slow down and speak more confidently and forcefully.
5C 胡梓涵 Bill:The charm of Chinese traditional festival
来自5C班的Bill同学为大家带来了一场关于中国传统文化魅力的精彩演讲。春节是中国传统节日的心跳,象征着万物更新、家庭团圆和国家昌盛。Bill用优美流利的英语给大家讲解了春节的由来、文化传统和文化内涵。春节不仅仅是一场庆祝活动,更是一幅鲜活的中国哲学画卷,时刻提醒着我们,每一个结束之后,都蕴含着新的成长契机,这就像竹子,在风暴中虽会弯曲却永不折断。评委表示Bill的演讲非常精彩,他发音非常标准,使用了很多高阶词汇,能深度挖掘中国传统文化内涵。评委还建议Bill可以把麦克风拿远一点,在忘词的时候可以适当自由发挥,要相信自己!
Bill, a student from Class 5C, gave a wonderful speech on the charms of traditional Chinese culture. The Spring Festival is a irreplaceable traditional Chinese festival, symbolizing the renewal of everything, family reunions, and national prosperity. Bill explained the origin, cultural traditions and cultural connotations of the Spring Festival in fluent English. The Chinese New Year is not only a celebration, but also a vivid picture of Chinese philosophy, reminding us that after each end, there is a new opportunity for growth, just like bamboo, which can bend but never break in a storm. The judges said that Bill’s speech was very exciting. His pronunciation was very natural and he used a lot of advanced vocabulary, and he could dig deep into the meaning of traditional Chinese culture. The judges also suggested that Bill could hold the microphone a little farther away, and that he could relax when he forgot words, and believe in himself more!

At the end of the event, all judges awarded certificates to the speakers and took a group photo.
万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次,学生自主报名参与,中文、英文均可,老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲,主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说,善思、善辩、善究。
The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.
