万双网讯  2025年4月22日上午9时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第二学期第十一周升旗仪式在操场举行。本周升旗仪式由6E班和6F班承担，胡启钧同学和刘熹颐同学担任主持人。

At 9 a.m. on April 22nd, 2025, the flag - raising ceremony of the eleventh week in the second semester of the 2024 - 2025 academic year of Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School was held on the playground. This week’s flag - raising ceremony was undertaken by Class 6E and Class 6F, and Eden and Cicy served as the hosts.

在今日的升旗仪式上，6E班的洪欣然同学、杨婉如同学和6F班的肖可昕同学、谭凯琳同学共同登台，向全校师生发出环保倡议。在演讲中，四位学生代表以数据和实例揭示了全球环境危机：亚马逊雨林每年减少6000平方公里，80%的河流遭受严重污染，极端气候灾害频发导致每年经济损失超过3000亿美元。他们指出，地球正承受着巨大的环境压力，亟需人类共同呵护。结合校园“零废弃”实践，他们分享了日常环保举措——倡导纸张双面使用以保护森林资源，随手拧紧水龙头以守护珍贵水源，规范垃圾分类以实现资源循环利用。这些看似微小的行动，实则是对地球最真挚的关怀。他们还引用了习近平总书记关于环保的讲话——“绿水青山就是金山银山”，号召大家齐心协力，共同守护地球。

At today’s flag-raising ceremony, Fairy and Bonnie from Class 6E, Coco and Kaylin from Class 6F gave a speech to promote environmental protection to all students and faculty.In their speech, they used data and examples to reveal the global environmental crisis: the Amazon rainforest is losing 6,000 square kilometers per year, 80% of the rivers are severely polluted, and the frequent occurrence of extreme weather disasters has caused economic losses of more than $300 billion per year.They pointed out that the earth is under tremendous environmental pressure and needs to be cared for by human beings.Combined with the “zero waste” practice of VBS, they shared daily environmental protection initiatives.They suggested we should use paper on both sides to protect the forests, tighten the faucet to protect precious water sources,and standardize the separation of garbage to achieve resource recycling. These seemingly small actions are actually the most sincere care for the earth.They also cited an environmental speech from Chairman Xi — “Green mountains and clear water are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver.”, calling on everyone to join forces in protecting the planet together.

仪式最后，在全体师生的注视下，孙晓萌老师宣布了第9-10周获得“金海豚”荣誉的班级，派驻第一书记刘晓娟老师、督导与课程发展中心主任周金凤老师、团支部书记陈佳敏老师为获奖班级颁奖。

At the end of the assembly, Ms Sun Xiaomeng announced the list of classes that won the honor of “Golden Dolphin” for the 9th to 10th weeks. Ms. Liu Xiaojuan, the first secretary of the station, Ms. Zhou Jinfeng, director of the Supervision and Curriculum Development Centers and Ms. Chen Jiamin, the secretary of the Youth League Branch presented the Golden Dolphin Banners to the winning classes.

A：The theme of our speech today is “Guarding the Earth, Lighting Up the Future”

B：今天我们演讲的主题是《守护地球，点亮未来》

C：When we face the sunrise and start a new day every day, have we ever noticed that the land under our feet is silently bearing heavy pressure?

D：当我们每天迎着朝阳，踏入熟悉的校园，开启充实的学习生活时，可曾留意到，我们脚下的这片土地，正默默承受着沉重的压力？

A：At this moment, we would like to talk about the Earth that we rely on for survival. Tomorrow, April 22nd, is World Earth Day,which is a special day calling on us to take care of the Earth.

B：今天，在这庄严的国旗下，我想和大家聊聊我们赖以生存的地球。明天，4月22日，世界地球日，这个特殊的日子，就像地球母亲深情的呼唤，提醒着我们要用心呵护她了。

C：Looking at the world, the situation is heart wrenching. Tropical rainforests, the lungs of the earth, have become sparse due to excessive logging, and countless rare animals and plants have lost their homes; Rivers and lakes, once the source of life, have become murky due to pollution, losing their former clarity and vitality; The extreme weather caused by climate change, such as floods, droughts, and sandstorms, is becoming increasingly frequent, bringing disasters to countless lives.

D：放眼全球，情况令人揪心。热带雨林，那地球之肺，因过度砍伐而变得稀疏，无数珍稀动植物失去了家园；河流湖泊，曾是生命的源泉，却因污染变得浑浊不堪，失去了往日的清澈与生机；气候变化引发的极端天气，如洪水、干旱、沙尘暴，越来越频繁，给无数生命带来了灾难。

A：Earth, this great mother, is struggling to send out a distress signal, how can we ignore it? Perhaps you may ask, 'We are just students, what can we do?' You must know that, every action counts. All actions will eventually become a powerful force that changes the world.

B：地球，这位伟大的母亲，正艰难地发出求救信号，我们怎能坐视不理？或许你会问：“我们只是学生，能做些什么呢？”别小看自己，每一次行动，都如同微光汇聚，终将成为改变世界的磅礴力量。

A：Our school advocates “zero waste” and utilizes paper on both sides. By saving one piece of paper, we can save a thriving sapling; Tighten the faucet at any time to protect the precious water source; By conscientiously sorting garbage, limited resources can be recycled. These small actions are our most sincere concern for the Earth, and our responsibility and commitment as guardians of the planet.

B：我们学校践行“零废弃”，纸张双面利用，节省一张纸，就能拯救一棵正在茁壮成长的树苗，为地球增添一抹绿色；随时拧紧水龙头，就能守护珍贵的水源，让生命的长河奔腾不息；认真做好垃圾分类，就能让有限的资源得到循环利用，让地球的负担减轻一分。这些微小却坚定的行动，都是我们对地球最真挚的关怀，是我们作为地球守护者的责任与担当。
