万双网讯  在本学期，万科双语学校八年级的学生们开启了一场别开生面的学习之旅，主题为“我心中的中国园林”。这不仅是一次跨学科的项目式学习（PBL）实践，更是一次深刻的文化探索和创意表达。通过融合语文、建筑、人工智能、地理等多学科知识，学生在12周的时间里，从理论学习到实践操作，从设计构思到模型制作，最终以一场沉浸式的游园展示，呈现了他们对中国园林之美的独特理解和创意诠释。

This semester, eighth-grade students at Vanke Bilingual School embarked on a unique learning journey with the theme “Chinese Gardens in My Heart.” This was not only an interdisciplinary project-based learning (PBL) practice but also a profound cultural exploration and creative expression. By integrating knowledge from Chinese language, architecture, artificial intelligence, geography, and other subjects, students spent 12 weeks moving from theoretical learning to practical operations, from design concepts to model making, culminating in an immersive garden display that showcased their unique understanding and creative interpretation of the beauty of Chinese gardens.

语文课堂：领略园林之美

Chinese Class: Appreciating the Beauty of Gardens

在语文课堂上，学生深入探索了《苏州园林》这篇文章，通过细腻的文字描绘，领略到了中国古典园林的独特魅力。教师巧妙地引导学生分析文中的描写技巧，不仅让他们深刻理解了园林美学的核心要素，还激发了他们对中国传统文化深厚的兴趣与探索欲望。学生也通过绘制思维导图的方式总结园林的美学特点。这一过程为后续的项目实践打下了坚实的文化基础，在学生心中播下了向往中国园林之美的种子。

In Chinese classes, students delved deeply into the article Suzhou Gardens, experiencing the distinctive charm of classical Chinese gardens through its delicate descriptions. Teachers skillfully guided students to analyze the descriptive techniques in the text, allowing them to grasp the core elements of garden aesthetics while igniting their profound interest and desire to explore traditional Chinese culture. Additionally, students summarized the aesthetic characteristics of gardens by making mind maps. This process laid a solid cultural foundation for the subsequent project practice and planted the seeds of yearning for the beauty of Chinese gardens in the students’ hearts.

地理课堂：探索园林的地理优势

在地理课上，学生们了解了江南地区得天独厚的地理条件对园林发展的重要影响。江南地区属于亚热带季风气候，夏天高温多雨，园林适宜避暑。此外，江南地区河道纵横，水网密布，随处可引得泉水，为园林的水景设计提供了丰富的资源。这些地理条件不仅为园林的建造提供了便利，也为园林的美学设计提供了灵感。

In geography class, students learned about the significant impact of the unique geographical conditions of the Jiangnan region on the development of gardens. Jiangnan has a subtropical monsoon climate characterized by hot and rainy summers favorable for garden retreats. Moreover, its intricate network of rivers and abundant water resources offers rich materials for the design of water features in gardens. These geographical conditions not only facilitate garden construction but also provide inspiration for their aesthetic design.

建筑课程：绘制心中的园林蓝图

建筑课成为了学生们将心中对园林之美的感悟转化为具体设计方案的关键环节。在建筑教师的指导下，学生们学习了园林设计的基本原则和技巧，涵盖了从布局规划到景观营造，再到建筑风格选择的各个方面。他们细致入微地将对美的理解和追求融入到设计的每一个角落，从曲折的小径到精致的亭台，从假山到水景，每一处设计都体现了他们的匠心独运。这一过程中，学生们不仅锻炼了空间思维和创造力，更深刻体会到了园林设计背后的哲学和文化内涵。

The architecture class became a crucial stage for students to transform their insights about the beauty of gardens into concrete design proposals. Under the guidance of the architecture teacher, students learned the basic principles and techniques of garden design, covering aspects from layout planning to landscape creation and architectural style selection. They meticulously integrated their understanding of beauty into every corner of their designs, from winding pathways to exquisite pavilions, from artificial hills to water features, reflecting their ingenuity in each design element. Throughout this process, students not only honed their spatial thinking and creativity but also deeply appreciated the philosophical and cultural connotations behind garden design.

人工智能：让园林活起来

在人工智能课上，学生们借助3DONE等设计软件，将二维的园林设计转化为生动立体的三维模型。学生自己设计并制作风格不一的亭台楼阁轩榭舫，让心中的园林跃然眼前。同时，学生们还学习了arduino、电子元件等硬件编程相关知识，为自己的园林模型设计灯光系统，增添了现代科技的元素，使传统园林在现代技术的映衬下焕发出新的生机。这一跨学科的融合，不仅提升了学生们的综合实践能力，更让他们看到了传统与现代结合的无限可能。

In the artificial intelligence class, students utilized design software such as 3DONE to transform their two-dimensional garden designs into vivid three-dimensional models. They designed and created pavilions and other structures in various styles, bringing their imagined gardens to life. Additionally, students learned about hardware programming, including Arduino and electronic components, to design lighting systems for their garden models, adding elements of modern technology that breathed new life into traditional gardens. This interdisciplinary integration enhanced students' comprehensive practical abilities and revealed the infinite possibilities of combining tradition with modernity.

与此同时，学生将在人工智能课上学习到的视频剪辑技能应用起来，为自己的模型拍摄了宣传视频，自己撰写文案、配音，全方位地展示了自己的学习成果。视频中，学生们自信地介绍自己的设计理念、制作过程以及模型的独特之处，展现了他们在项目中的成长与收获。

Meanwhile, students applied the video editing skills learned in artificial intelligence class to produce promotional videos for their models, writing their own scripts and providing voice-overs to showcase their learning outcomes comprehensively. In these videos, students confidently introduced their design concepts, production processes, and the unique aspects of their models, demonstrating their growth and achievements throughout the project.

游园展示：沉浸式体验学习成果

Garden Display: An Immersive Experience of Learning Outcomes

在项目的最后阶段，学校举办了一场别具一格的游园展示活动。活动现场，学生们成为了自己作品的最佳代言人。他们热情地迎接每一位参观者，用自信和专业的态度为来宾讲解自己的设计理念、创作过程以及在项目中遇到的挑战和解决方案。这种沉浸式的展示方式，不仅让学生们有机会向全校师生展示自己的作品，更让他们在实践中进一步加深了对中国园林文化的理解。

In the final stage of the project, the school organized a unique garden display event. At the activity venue, students became the best representatives of their works. They warmly welcomed every visitor, confidently explaining their design concepts, creative processes, challenges faced during the project, and solutions with a professional attitude. This immersive display not only provided students the opportunity to showcase their work to the entire school community but also deepened their understanding of Chinese garden culture through practical experience.

“我心中的中国园林”项目不仅是一次学科知识的综合运用，更是一次对学生核心素养的全方位培养。通过跨学科的学习模式，学生们在实践中提升了语文素养、审美能力、创新思维和动手能力。他们学会了如何将不同学科的知识融会贯通，解决实际问题；学会了如何在团队合作中发挥自己的优势，共同完成项目目标。这一项目不仅丰富了学生的校园生活，更为他们的未来发展奠定了坚实的基础。

The “Chinese Gardens in My Heart” project was not only a comprehensive application of disciplinary knowledge but also an all-around cultivation of students’ core competencies. Through the interdisciplinary learning model, students enhanced their Chinese literacy, aesthetic ability, innovative thinking, and practical skills. They learned how to integrate knowledge from different subjects to solve real problems and how to leverage their strengths in teamwork to achieve project goals. This project not only enriched students’ campus life but also laid a solid foundation for their future development.
