万双网讯  为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力，提升学生的中英文综合素养，让孩子站在舞台中央，2024年12月5日下午6时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校第34期E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。100余名师生现场聆听了演讲。活动同时面向全校师生直播。

Vanke Bilingual School News Activity — To enhance students' comprehensive abilities to speak and express themselves, to improve their overall Chinese and English literacy, and to put children at the center of the stage, the 34th E-talk of Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school theater at 6 p.m. on December 5, 2024. Over 100 teachers and students attended the event, and it was also live-streamed to the entire school community.

本次E-talk活动的主题是 “美好的世界” 。来自一至三年级的6名同学用英文进行了精彩的演讲。同学们分享了 “自己的假期和旅行经历”。评委老师为同学们的精彩表现做了点评。

The theme of this E-talk was "A Wonderful World". Six students from Grades 1 to 3 delivered wonderful speeches in English on sharing their holiday and travel experiences. The judges provided comments after the students' excellent performances.

1O 韩悦晴 Yancy：My Trip to Phuket

Yancy分享了自己去泰国普吉岛的经历，普吉岛美丽的海滩、棕榈树、柔软的沙子和碧蓝的海水给她留下了深刻的印象。丛林飞行是旅行中最刺激的部分，在那里，她穿上特殊的安全带滑索穿越丛林，尽管一开始感到害怕，但在妈妈的陪伴下，她克服了恐惧，享受了这次冒险。她告诉我们：尝试新事物可能会让人害怕，但同时也令人兴奋。她期待未来能有更多的冒险。评委表扬她做了一次很棒的演讲，她去泰国的旅行经历非常吸引人,演讲清晰明了，节奏掌握得很好。

Yancy shared her experience visiting Phuket Island in Thailand, where the stunning beaches, palm trees, soft sand, and azure waters left a deep impression on her. Flying over the jungle was the most exciting part of the trip; there, she wore a special harness and zip-lined over the jungle canopy. Although she felt afraid at first, with her mother's presence, she overcame her fear and enjoyed the adventure. She told us, "Trying new things can be scary, but it's also exciting." She looks forward to having more adventures in the future. The judges praised her for delivering an excellent speech, noting that her travel experiences in Thailand were very captivating, her presentation was clear and concise, and she had a good grasp of pacing.

1X 杨礼宁 Lillian：My Trip to Beijing

Lillian分享了自己充实的暑假生活，这个暑假，她与朋友们在户外玩耍、享受阳光、堆建沙堡、学习攀岩......忙碌而美好。随后，她着重介绍了自己的北京之旅。长城、故宫、北京烤鸭，都给她留下了十分难忘的回忆。演讲的最后，她总结了暑假的美好，还与同学们互动，询问其他同学是否愿意分享他们有趣的故事。评委老师赞扬说：“你的演讲简单而有效，观众喜欢听你分享的旅行经历。这次活动也是你在他人面前练习演讲的好机会，加油，相信你一定会越做越好。”

Lillian shared her fulfilling summer vacation life. During the summer, she played outdoors with friends, enjoyed the sunshine, built sandcastles, learned rock climbing, and had a busy yet wonderful time. Following that, she focused on sharing her trip to Beijing. The Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and eating Peking Roast Duck all left her with unforgettable memories. At the end of her speech, she summarized the joys of her summer vacation and interacted with the audience, asking if they would like to share their interesting stories. The judges praised her, saying, "Your speech was simple yet effective, and the audience enjoyed hearing about your travel experiences. This event was also a great opportunity for you to practice speaking in front of others. Keep it up; I believe you'll get better and better."

2E 康熙琳 Celine：A Word Tree

Celine分享了一个有意思的故事，这个故事发生在一个小岛上，岛上有一座山，山顶上长着一棵名为“字树”的树。这棵树与其它树不同，它没有普通的绿色叶子，而是长满了许多英语单词。尽管字树上有很多单词，但这些单词无法说话，因此它们并不快乐。一天，一只毛毛虫经过，看出字树的沮丧，提出帮助它们“连结”在一起，这样它们就能够说话了。经过七天的努力，毛毛虫和它的朋友们将字树上的单词组成了许多句子。字树成了快乐的故事树。在演讲的最后，Celine总结说，尽管她的演讲结束了，但故事却没有终结。故事的精彩将会继续，传达出无穷的想象与快乐。评委称赞道：“我很喜欢你的故事，非常有创意，太了不起了。”

Celine shared an intriguing story that took place on a small island where there was a mountain topped with a tree known as the "Word Tree." This tree was unlike others; instead of having ordinary green leaves, it was adorned with numerous English words. Despite the abundance of words on the Word Tree, it couldn't speak, and thus, it was unhappy. One day, a caterpillar passed by and noticed the tree's frustration, offering to help the words "connect" so that it could communicate. After seven days of hard work, the caterpillar and its friends arranged the words on the tree into many sentences. The Word Tree became a joyful Story Tree. At the end of her speech, Celine concluded that although her presentation had concluded, the story had not. The magic of the story would continue, conveying boundless imagination and happiness. The judges praised, "I loved your story; it's very creative and amazing."

2G 王信淇Kingsley：My summer holiday

Kingsley分享了他在长沙的旅行经历，他认为长沙是一座令人放松的城市。他和家人访问了岳麓书院，尽管天气非常炎热，爬山也让他们感到疲惫，但他学习到了许多知识。他还分享了在橘子洲的经历，并展示了他和哥哥在毛主席雕像前拍的照片。在湖南博物馆，他们查看了马王堆展览，见识了很多古代文物。整篇演讲传递了他对长沙的无限热爱。评委点评说:“你就旅行主题进行了深入且引人入胜的讨论。此次演讲不仅展示了出色的研究能力、也展现了你的沟通能力以及对演讲主题的热情。”

Kingsley shared his travel experiences in Changsha, describing it as a city that brings relaxation. He and his family visited Yuelu Academy. Despite the scorching heat and the exhaustion from climbing the hill, he gained a wealth of knowledge there. He also recounted his time on Orange Island and displayed a photo of him and his brother taken in front of the statue of Chairman Mao. At the Hunan Museum, they explored the Mawangdui Exhibition and marveled at numerous ancient artifacts. His entire speech conveyed his boundless love for Changsha. The judges commented, "You've engaged in a thorough and fascinating discussion on the topic of travel. This speech not only demonstrates your excellent research skills but also showcases your communication abilities and passion for the speech subject."

3G 詹闵乔 Jasmine ：Water cycle made simple

Jasmine同学分享了主题为“水循环”的知识。她幽默地将水循环比喻为水的一次“大冒险”，并介绍了水循环的基本概念和完整的过程。她在演讲的最后强调，雨水是大自然为地球提供水的方式，雨水对生命至关重要。整篇演讲，通过简单易懂的语言和清晰的逻辑，让听众能轻松理解水循环的科学知识。评委点评道：“你用幽默生动的方式介绍了水循环的不同阶段，并使用了色彩丰富的图片来传达你的信息，非常有创造力。”

Jasmine shared knowledge on the topic of the water cycle. She humorously compared the water cycle to a "great adventure" of water and introduced the basic concepts and complete process of the water cycle. At the end of her presentation, she emphasized that rainfall is nature's way of providing water for the Earth and is crucial for life. Throughout her speech, she used simple and easy-to-understand language and clear logic to make scientific knowledge of the water cycle accessible to the audience. The judges commented, "You introduced the different stages of the water cycle in a humorous and lively way, and used colorful images to convey your message, which was very creative."

3F 赵一诺 Strawberry：My journey to Malaysia

Strawberry分享了她在马来西亚哥打基纳巴卢（Kota Kinabalu）度过的假期生活，她讲述了在海上浮潜和第一次观看萤火虫的经历，还介绍了被称为东南亚最美的沙巴大学。此外，她提到哥打基纳巴卢是世界上第三大美丽日落观赏地点。整篇演讲通过生动而真实的描述，展现了Strawberry同学在马来西亚的奇幻体验，让听众们感受到旅游的乐趣与新奇。评委点评说：“你的演讲结构清晰，展示了你出色的演讲技巧。演讲内容引人入胜且信息丰富，观众很享受这个主题。”

Strawberry shared her vacation experience in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, recounting her snorkeling adventures at sea and her first encounter with fireflies, as well as introducing the stunning University of Sabah, known as the most beautiful of Southeast Asia. Additionally, she mentioned that Kota Kinabalu is renowned as the third-best place to watch sunsets in the world. Through vivid and authentic descriptions, her entire speech portrayed Strawberry's magical experiences in Malaysia, allowing the audience to feel the joy and novelty of traveling. The judges commented, "Your speech was clearly organized and demonstrated your excellent presentation skills. The content was captivating and informative, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed the topic."

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次，学生自主报名参与，中文、英文均可，老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲，主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说，善思、善辩、善究。

The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.

E-talk的舞台是开放的，我们欢迎每一位VBS未来少年来到这里，站在聚光灯下，向世界展示自己的独特魅力；我们鼓励孩子们挑战自我，突破困境；我们相信，每一个孩子都有无限的潜力，只要他们有勇气站上舞台，就有可能成为真正的演讲者。

The stage of E-talk is open. We welcome every future teenager of VBS to come here, stand in the spotlight, and show their unique charm to the world; we encourage children to challenge themselves and break through difficulties; we believe that every child has unlimited potential. As long as they have the courage to stand on the stage, they may become real speakers.

让我们一起期待，在E-talk的舞台上，VBS未来少年们将如何用他们的声音，引领我们走进他们的世界，感受他们的热情与活力。

Let us look forward to how the future teenagers of VBS will use their voices to lead us into their world and feel their enthusiasm and vitality on the E-talk stage.
