万双网讯  2024年12月2日，万科双语学校在剧场隆重举办了机甲先锋社团的开班仪式，标志着这一创新型学生社团正式成立。该社团旨在通过VEX机器人平台，培养学生的科技创新能力和团队协作精神。

On December 2, 2024, Vanke Bilingual School held a grand opening ceremony for the Robot Pioneer Club in the theater, marking the official establishment of this innovative student club. The club aims to cultivate students’ technological innovation and teamwork through the VEX robotics platform.

在4-6年级的人工智能课堂上，社团成立的消息一经发布，就引起了广泛关注和热烈响应。短短几天内，共有271名学生自愿报名，学校进行了严格的选拔程序。首先，所有报名学生都参加了严格的笔试，测试内容涵盖了基础机器人知识、编程原理和逻辑思维等多方面。经过笔试筛选，共有64位学生脱颖而出，进入下一轮搭建测试环节。这一环节注重考察学生的动手能力和空间想象能力，每位同学都需要按照要求独立搭建一个VEX机器人模型。最终，经过全面考核，共有24位学生脱颖而出，成为机甲先锋社团的首批成员。他们将在接下来的社团活动中，通过系统的培训和实际项目的操作，进一步提升自己的科技素养和创新能力。

Upon the announcement of the club’s establishment in the AI classes for Grade 4-6, there was widespread attention and enthusiastic responses among students. Within just a few days, 271 students volunteered to sign up, and the school started a rigorous selection process. Firstly, all applicants participated in a stringent written test covering various technical aspects such as basic robotics knowledge, programming knowledge, and logical thinking. After the written test, 64 students stood out and advanced to the next round of building and testing, which focused on assessing their hands-on skills and spatial imagination abilities. Each student was required to independently build a VEX robot model according to the given requirements. Ultimately, after comprehensive evaluations, 24 students emerged victorious and became the first members of the Robot Pioneer Club. They will further enhance their skills and innovation abilities through systematic training and hands-on projects in subsequent club activities.

在开班仪式上，所有参与了选拔的学生和班主任参加了此次活动。曹嘉树同学作为入选社团成员的代表进行了发言，他热情洋溢的演讲表达了对加入机甲先锋社团的喜悦和对未来学习的期待，同时他也做好了相应的时间规划，确保机器人的学习不会影响到他的学科学习。陈星雨同学作为未入选的代表做了发言，他真诚的发言展示了不气馁、不放弃的精神，激励了在场的许多同学。最后，杨帆校长发表了重要讲话，她鼓励新成员们在科技创新的道路上勇攀高峰，积极参与社团的各项活动，通过实践不断提升自己。同时，她也对未入选的同学们提出了希望，鼓励他们继续保持对科技的热情，与社团成员们一起学习和成长，争取未来有更多的机会加入到机甲先锋社团的行列中来。最后，杨帆校长和林红英校长助理为社团成员颁发了证书。当天晚上，社团成员就正式上课，开始了VEX机器人相关的学习。

At the opening ceremony, all students who participated in the selection process and their homeroom teachers attended the event. Cao Jiashu, a representative from the selected club members, delivered a passionate speech expressing his joy of joining the Robot Pioneer Club and his expectations for future learning. He also made corresponding plans to ensure that his robotics studies would not interfere with his academic studies. Chen Xingyu, a representative of the unselected students, gave a sincere speech demonstrating the spirit of not being discouraged or giving up, which inspired many students present. Finally, Principal Yang Fan delivered an important speech, encouraging the new members to strive for excellence on the path of technological innovation, actively participate in the club's activities, and continuously improve themselves through practice. At the same time, she also expressed hope for the unselected students, urging them to maintain their enthusiasm for technology and learn and grow together with the club members, striving for more opportunities to join the Robot Pioneer Club in the future. In the end, Principal Yang Fan and Assistant Principal Lin Hongying presented certificates to the club members. In the evening, the club members officially began their classes and started their learning related to VEX robots.
