万双网讯  2024年11月25日上午8时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第一学期第13周升旗仪式在操场举行。本周升旗仪式由1C班和1E班承担，林婉清（Via）同学和唐诗茜（Mia）同学担任主持人。

On the morning of November 25, 2024, at 8:00 a.m., the flag-raising ceremony for the 13th week of the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year at Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School of Meisha Education was held on the playground. This week’s ceremony was hosted by Classes 1C and 1E, with Lin Wanqing (Via) and Tang Shiqian (Mia) being the hostesses. 

在庄严的国旗下，1C班的黄小米（Emily）和1E班的杨梓夫（Wowo）同学发表了讲话，他们强调了践行社会主义核心价值观的重要性，并鼓励全体同学争做文明学生。他们详细回顾了包括富强、民主、文明等在内的十二个核心价值观，并指出爱国精神应从爱护学校、保护环境做起，敬业精神要求大家勤奋学习，诚信精神强调诚实守信，友善精神则是对他人的友好和乐于助人。黄小米和杨梓夫同学认为，万双的培养目标正是社会主义核心价值观的生动体现，他们呼吁同学们将这些价值观融入日常生活，努力成为具有家国情怀和国际视野的优秀公民，为实现美好未来贡献自己的力量。

Under the solemn national flag, Huang Xiaomi (Emily) from Class 1C and Yang Zifu (Wowo) from Class 1E delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of practicing the core socialist values and encouraging all students to strive to be civilized students. They reviewed in detail the twelve core socialist values, including prosperity, democracy, and civilization, and pointed out that patriotism should start with caring for the school and protecting the environment. Having a dedicated spirit means everyone should study diligently, the spirit of honesty emphasizes truth and trustworthiness, and the spirit of kindness is friendliness and a willingness to help others. Huang Xiaomi and Yang Zifu believed that the student growth goals of Vanke Bilingual School are a vivid embodiment of these core socialist values. They called on students to integrate these ideas into their daily lives and strive to become outstanding citizens with patriotism and an international vision, contributing to the realization of a better future.

在全体师生的见证下，孙晓萌老师揭晓了第11至第12周荣获“金海豚”荣誉的班级名单。每个班级的名称被宣布时，都引发了现场的热烈掌声和欢呼。

In front of all the teachers and students, Ms. Sun Xiaomeng announced the list of classes that won the “Golden Dolphin” award for the 11th to the 12th weeks. Each class name that was announced received warm applause and cheers from the audience.

Dear teachers and classmates, good morning!

我是1C班的黄小米，他是1E班的杨梓夫。

My name is Wowo. I am from 1E. She is Emily from 1C.

今天，我们演讲的主题是：践行社会主义核心价值观，争做文明学生。

Today, we will give the speech about practicing the Core Socialist Values, and being civilized students.

同学们，你们知道社会主义核心价值观有哪些内容吗？那我们一起来背一下吧。富强、民主、文明、和谐、自由、平等、公正、法治、爱国、敬业、诚信、友善。

Dear friends, do you know what the Core Socialist Values are? Let’s recite them together:prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmony, freedom, equality, justice, the rule of law, patriotism, dedication, honesty, and kindness.

践行社会主义核心价值观，意味着我们要在学习和生活中，以这些价值观为导向，不断提升自己的道德修养和综合素质。那么，我们如何将这些价值观融入到日常学习和生活中呢？

Practicing the Core Socialist Values means that we should be guided by these values every day, which will improve our moral character and overall quality. So, how can we integrate these values into our daily studies and lives?

首先，我们要爱国。爱国不仅仅是爱我们的国家，也要爱我们的学校，爱我们的老师和同学。我们可以通过保护环境，节约用水来表达我们的爱国之情。

First, we must love our country. It not only means loving our country, but also loving our school, teachers, and classmates. We can show patriotism by protecting the environment, and conserving water.

其次，敬业要求我们勤奋学习，追求卓越。作为学生，我们的首要任务是学习。我们要珍惜时间，勤奋学习，努力掌握科学文化知识和专业技能。

Second, dedication requires us to study hard. As students, our primary task is to learn. We should cherish our time, study hard, and strive to master scientific knowledge and professional skills.

诚信也非常重要。要求我们在学习和生活中做到诚实守信，不撒谎，不作弊，做一个诚实守信，言行一致的人。

Then, we should be honest. It means we must not lie and cheat, and should be consistent in our words and actions.

最后，我们要友善。对每个人都友好，乐于助人，感谢那些帮助我们的人。这样，我们的学校就会变得更加美好。

Finally, we should be kind. Be nice to everyone, help others, and say thank you to those who help us. In this way, our school will become better.

万双的培养目标就是社会主义核心价值观的生动体现。让我们在日常的生活和学习中践行社会主义核心价值，争做文明学生！努力成为身体健康、人格健全、学力卓越，具有家国情怀和国际视野，敢于创造美好未来的中国公民。

The educational goal of VBS is a vivid reflection of the Core Socialist Values. So let’s practice it in our daily lives and studies, and strive to be civilized students！We’ll work hard to be the citizens that VBS wishes us to be.
