万双网讯  2024年11月4日上午8时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第一学期第10周升旗仪式在操场举行。本周升旗仪式由5C班和5D班承担，冼青蔓同学和刘苏瑶同学担任主持人。

On November 4, 2024 at 8 AM, the flag-raising ceremony for the 10th week of the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year at Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School was held on the playground. This week’s ceremony was organized by Classes 5C and 5D, with Xian Qingman and Liu Suyao serving as hosts.

在庄严的国旗下，5C 班的王子谦同学与 5D 班的林欣然同学共同发表了以《全民消防、生命至上》为题的精彩演讲，深刻且全面地阐述了消防安全的重要性。他们郑重提醒大家，每年的 11 月 9 日乃是全国消防日，这一日期与火警电话 119 恰好相同，这一极具特殊意义的日子提醒着我们务必时刻高度关注消防安全。

Under the national flag, Wang Ziqian from Class 5C and Lin Xinran from Class 5D delivered an impressive speech titled “National Fire Safety, Life First,” where they comprehensively explained the importance of fire safety. They solemnly reminded everyone that November 9th is National Fire Safety Day, a date that coincides with the emergency fire number 119. This particularly meaningful day serves as a reminder for us to maintain a heightened awareness of fire safety at all times.

王子谦和林欣然同学指出，火在人类生活中扮演着重要角色，但如果不正确使用，就会造成严重后果。他们呼吁大家要发挥责任意识，将消防安全知识向家人宣传，并在校园中做到以下几点：不玩火、爱护消防设施和器材、认真对待消防疏散演练。他们强调，消防安全重于泰山，希望大家都能远离火灾，珍爱生命。

Wang Ziqian and Lin Xinran pointed out that fire plays an important role in saving lives, but improper methods can have severe consequences. They urged everyone to be responsible, promote fire safety knowledge with their families, and adhere to following fire safety principles on campus: such as not playing with fire, taking care of fire safety equipment, and taking fire drill exercises seriously. They emphasized that fire safety is of paramount importance and expressed their hope that everyone can stay away from fires and cherish life.

“第一书记话时事”环节，派驻第一书记刘晓娟老师发表了关于神舟十九号载人飞船与中国空间站成功对接的讲话。她指出，这次对接不仅是中国航天史上的重要里程碑，也是中国科技自立自强的重要体现。刘晓娟老师强调，中国科学家们几代人的努力，从“向科学进军”到“建设创新型国家”，再到“建设科技强国”，铺就了一条闪亮的科技自立自强之路。她鼓励大家观看纪录片《科学的七个瞬间》，了解中国科学家的精神和中国科技的发展。

In the next segment called “The First Secretary Talks About Current Affairs,” our resident First Secretary, Teacher Liu Xiaojuan, delivered a speech about the successful docking of the Shenzhou 19 manned spacecraft on the Chinese Space Station. She highlighted that this docking is not only an important milestone for the history of Chinese space exploration but also a significant embodiment of China’s self-reliance and strength in science and technology. Teacher Liu Xiaojuan emphasized that the efforts of generations of Chinese scientists have paved the way for a brilliant path of self-reliance in technology, transitioning from “marching towards science” to “building an innovative country,” then ultimately to “Establishing a Technological Powerhouse.”She encouraged everyone to watch the documentary “Seven Moments of Science” to gain insight into the spirit of Chinese scientists and the development of China’s scientific landscape.

大家早上好！我是5D班的林欣然，今天我们演讲的主题是《全民消防、生命至上。》。

Good morning! I am Sarah from 5D. Today’s topic is “National Fire Safety, Life First.”

消防安全是关系到生命的大事，每年的11月9日定为全国的消防日，恰好与火警电话119相同。

Fire safety is an important issue. The National Fire Protection Day is on November 9th, which happens to be the same as fire alarm number 119.

俗话说：水火无情。人们在不经意间就酿成了灾难。我们的身边处处离不开火，做饭需要火，烧水需要火。

Fire can be dangerous, but we need fire for cooking and boiling water.

自从古人发明了钻木取火，人类才吃上了热的食物，在冬天刺骨的寒风中得到了温暖。

Since ancient times, people have used wooden sticks to start fires. These fires allowed us to cook food and stay warm during winter.

可任何事物都有两面性，人类如果不好好使用它，就会造成严重的损失。每年，有多少起因为火灾造成的严重事故？又有多少人命丧这熊熊大火的魔爪下？这还不足以给我们一个警告吗？

However, if people don’t use fire properly, it can lead to serious consequences. Every year, fires cause many serious accidents. Many people die in fires. Isn’t that a clear warning to us?

关于消防安全逃生知识，我们在平时的主题班会课上已经了解了许多，我们万小双要发挥自己的责任意识，将消防安全知识向自己的家人进行宣传。而身处人员密集的校园中，我们平时应该做到以下几点：

We have learned a lot about fire safety and evacuation drills during our regular class meetings. Us VBSers should take responsibility and share what we know about fire safety with our families too. Here are the steps we should follow:

1、不玩火；

1. Don’t play with fire;

2、我们学校有许多灭火器、消防栓等消防设施和器材，希望大家在日常生活中注意爱护，在紧急情况下，它们可能是我们保护生命的保证；

2. Our school has many fire safety tools. We need to pay attention to them every day. They can protect our lives in case of fire.

3、我们学校也会组织消防疏散演练，希望大家认真对待，锻炼我们的逃生技能。

3. Our school will also organize fire drills; we hope everyone will take them seriously.

消防安全，重于泰山，希望大家都能够远离火灾，珍爱生命！

大家早上好！10月30日，神舟十九号载人飞船和空间站顺利完成全自主快速交会对接，3名航天员进驻中国空间站，与神舟十八号3名航天员顺利会师，完成中国航天史上第5次“太空会师”。神舟十九号乘组预计在空间站驻留6个月，将重点围绕“太空格物”主题，展开86项空间科学研究与技术试验。

Good morning, everyone! On October 30, the Shenzhou 19 manned spacecraft successfully completed an autonomous rapid docking with our space station, and the three astronauts from the Chinese Space Station met up with the three astronauts from Shenzhou 18. This marked the fifth “space rendezvous” in the history of Chinese space exploration. The Shenzhou 19 crew is expected to stay at the space station for six months, focusing on the theme of “space exploration” and conducting 86 scientific research and technological experiments in space.
