万双网讯  2024年10月28日上午8时，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2024-2025学年第一学期第9周升旗仪式在操场举行。本周升旗仪式由3E班和3F班承担，余劲驰同学和张中书同学担任主持人。

On October 28, 2024, at 8 AM, the flag-raising ceremony for the 9th week of the first semester of the 2024-2025 academic year at Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School was held on the playground. This week’s flag-raising ceremony was organized by Classes 3E and 3F, with students Yu Jinchi and Zhang Zhongshu serving as hosts.

在庄严的“国旗下讲话”时刻，3E班的李宗佑同学与3F班的赵一诺同学以《阅读、进步、圆梦》为题，共同发表了一场充满热情的演讲。他们声情并茂地阐述了阅读的重要性，分享了在万科双语学校丰富多彩的阅读活动中，同学们如何通过阅读提升自我、开阔视野，并为实现个人梦想奠定坚实基础。

During the solemn moment of the “Speech Under the National Flag,” Li Zongyou from Class 3E and Zhao Yinuo from Class 3F delivered a passionate speech titled “Reading, Progress, and Fulfillment of Your Dreams.” They eloquently articulated the significance of reading and shared how students at Vanke Bilingual School can enhance their self-development and broaden their horizons through diverse reading activities.

两位同学详细介绍了他们喜爱的阅读课程和活动，包括各年级都参与的VBS阅读-演讲课程体系、精心布置的班级阅读角以及定期举办的多样化阅读分享活动等。这些措施不仅成功激发了同学们对阅读的浓厚兴趣，更为他们搭建了展示阅读成果的广阔平台。

The two students highlighted their favorite reading courses and activities, including the VBS Reading-Speaking curriculum system participated in by all grade levels, the well-decorated classroom reading corners, and the regularly held diverse reading sharing events. These initiatives not only help stimulate the students’ strong interest in reading but also provides them with a platform to showcase their reading achievements.

李宗佑和赵一诺同学的演讲激情澎湃，激励着在场的每一位同学，加深了大家对阅读的热爱，使大家更加珍惜在书海中尽情遨游的宝贵机会，进一步认识到阅读对于个人成长和梦想实现的重要意义。

Li Zongyou and Zhao Yinuo’s inspiring speech motivated every student present to deepen their love for reading and encourage them to cherish the invaluable opportunity they have to explore the vast sea of books, further acknowledging the importance of reading for personal growth.

在上周落下帷幕的“奥运之光，坚毅前行”VBS奥林匹克周暨第七届田径运动会上，全校56个班级的1500余名师生齐心协力，共同铸就了一场体育盛宴。在这场盛会中，小运动员们在 45 个项目的激烈比拼中一次次勇敢地突破自我。尤为令人瞩目的是，有 14 个项目（其中包括 200 米跑、1500 米跑、跳高等）成功打破了校运会纪录，破纪录的学生高达 37人次。林熙荣老师登台宣读了优秀运动员名单，对这些小运动员们顽强拼搏、勇攀高峰的精神给予了高度嘉奖。优秀运动员名单如下：

Last week, the “Light of the Olympics, With Perseverance Moving Forward” VBS Olympic Week and the 7th Sports Meet concluded successfully. Over 1,500 teachers and students from 56 classes collaborated to create a memorable sports event. In this competition, young athletes pushed their limits, competing in 45 events. Notably, students in 14 events (including the 200-meter run, 1500-meter run, high jump, and others) successfully set new school sports meet records, with a total of 37 records broken. Teacher Lin Xirong announced the list of excellent athletes, giving high praise to these young competitors for their determination and perseverance. The list of award-winning athletes includes:

今天，我们演讲的主题是——阅读、进步、圆梦。在这个丹桂飘香的金秋时节，我们即将迎来第二十五届深圳读书月活动。

Today, the theme of our speech is - reading, progress, and realizing dreams. In this golden autumn season filled with the fragrance of osmanthus flowers, we are about to welcome the 25th Shenzhen Reading Month event.

阅读，是获取知识、增长智慧的重要方式，更是传承文明、提高国民素养的重要途径。在万双，丰富多样的阅读活动正在发生。为了培养我们成为真正的阅读爱好者，我校建立了1-9学段的VBS阅读-演讲课程体系，通过课程化的方式，让万小双们爱上阅读。

Reading is a crucial way to gain knowledge, wisdom, and preserve civilization while enhancing our nation’s literacy. At VBS, a variety of reading activities are taking place. To cultivate us into true reading enthusiasts, our school has established a VBS reading speaking course system for grades 1-9, which aims to make students fall in love with reading with its curriculum-based approach.

同时，每个班级都精心打造了一个温馨舒适的阅读角。每周五的整本书阅读时间，我和小伙伴一起沉浸在书海中，共同探索知识的奥秘。两周一次的阅读课，更是我们最期待的课程之一。为了让阅读的成果得到充分展示，我们定期举办丰富多彩的阅读分享活动，更有许多同学在E-talk演讲中，给我们推荐了许多好书。这一本本经典，让我们的心灵得到了滋养，让我们的思想更加深邃。

At the same time, each class has carefully created a warm and comfortable reading corner. During the book reading time every Friday, my friends and I immerse ourselves in the sea of books and explore their mysteries together. The bi-weekly reading class is one of our most anticipated courses. To showcase the results of reading, we regularly hold fruitful reading-sharing activities, and many students have recommended good books to us during E-talk speeches. These classics nourish our souls and deepen our thinking.

亲爱的同学们，让我们一起爱上阅读吧！与书为友、与书为伴，在阅读中增长知识、开阔视野，感悟生活、陶冶情操。
