万双网讯 为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力,提升学生的中英文综合素养,让孩子站在舞台中央,2024年10月10日下午6时,梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校第27期E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。100余名师生现场聆听了演讲。活动同时面向全校师生进行了直播。
VBS Web News, a program to enhance students’ abilities in public speaking and expression, and to improve their bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English to allow children to stand at the center of the stage. The 27th E-Talk event at Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school theater on October 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Over a hundred teachers and students attended the live speeches. The event was also broadcasted live to all the staff and students of the school.
本次E-talk活动的主题是 “热爱祖国” 。来自四至六年级的6名同学用中文进行了精彩的演讲。同学们分享了 “对祖国的热爱和自豪”。评委老师为同学们的精彩表现做了点评。
The theme of this E-Talk event was “Loving our country.” Six students from the fourth and sixth grades delivered outstanding speeches in English. The students shared their “love and pride for our motherland”, and the judges provided feedback on the students’ outstanding performances.

4F班程意然同学为大家讲述了自己梦想成为外交官的故事,表达了希望为中国与世界的沟通搭建桥梁的愿望。他提到中国在国际舞台上的地位日益重要,外交官不仅需要代表国家利益,还需要为全人类的共同利益努力。因此他立志通过努力学习,将来能够在国际事务中发挥作用,为推动构建人类命运共同体做出贡献。评委赞扬道:“今天你的演讲非常精彩,演讲主题很明确,充满了正能量,令人敬佩。你的情感十分真挚,让我感受到了你对祖国的热爱和愿意为祖国奋斗的决心。今天你发出了属于自己的中国声音,希望你能保持这份决心,继续努力实现这份梦想!”
Cheng Yiran from class 4F shared his story about his dream of becoming a diplomat, expressing his desire to build a bridge for communication between China and the world. He emphasized the increasing importance of China’s position on the international stage, stating that diplomats not only represent national interests but also strive for the common good of humanity. Therefore, he is determined to work hard in his studies so he can play a role in international affairs and contribute to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. The judges praised him, saying, “Your speech today was outstanding. The theme was very clear and filled with positive energy, which is admirable. Your emotions were very sincere, and I felt your love for the motherland and your determination to strive for it. Today, you expressed your unique voice for China, and I hope you maintain that determination and continue to work hard to achieve this dream!”

4G班佟可心同学分享了她在云南旅行期间接触的各种民族文化,包括大理的白族扎染、丽江的纳西族服饰以及昆明民族村的彝族火把节……通过亲身经历,她表达了对多元文化的赞美以及对中国56个民族团结一致、共同繁荣的美好愿景,强调了中华文化兼容并蓄的特点。评委老师称赞可心道:“你的演讲非常的自信并且流利,让人感受到了你对民族文化的热爱。感谢你为我们精彩地介绍了丰富多彩的民族文化。你从各民族的美食、文化、风景等方面,全面地展示了我们祖国拥有的多元民族文化。你的演讲内容丰富、视角独特,带领我们一起领略了祖国民族文化的魅力。老师也被你的演讲深深吸引,决定在未来的假期中跟随你的足迹,亲自前往云南体验当地的民族文化。”
Tong Kexin from class 4G shared her experiences with various ethnic cultures encountered during her trip to Yunnan, including the Bai people’s tie-dyeing techniques in Dali, the Naxi clothing in Lijiang, and the Yi people’s Torch Festival in Kunming’s Ethnic Village. Through her personal experiences, she expressed her admiration for multiculturalism and her beautiful vision of unity and shared prosperity among the 56 ethnic groups in China, emphasizing the inclusive characteristics of Chinese culture. The judges praised Kexin, saying, “Your speech was very confident and fluent, reflecting your love for ethnic culture. Thank you for beautifully introducing us to the rich and diverse cultures. You comprehensively showcased the multi-ethnic culture of our motherland through aspects like cuisine, culture, and landscape. Your speech was rich in content and offered a unique perspective, leading us to appreciate the charm of our country’s ethnic culture. The teachers were also deeply moved by your presentation and have decided to follow in your footsteps in future holidays by personally experiencing the local ethnic culture in Yunnan.”

This way, they can contribute to the future of our country and inspire more citizens to love their homeland. The judges commented, “Congratulations on your successful challenge! She praised the “Shenzhen speed” and innovation behind it, urging everyone to work together to contribute to the prosperity and strength of our country.
The judges commented, “You chose the theme of ‘Shenzhen Speed’ to tell the story of Shenzhen, effectively demonstrating the city’s rapid technological development. The connection between the two examples successfully showcased the remarkable changes in Shenzhen, highlighting its characteristics and charm. Your speech was excellent and persuasive. 5V班纪茗睿同学深情地表达了对祖国的热爱与自豪。从儿时通过拼图游戏认识祖国的轮廓,到在学校学习国旗、国徽和国歌,再到走遍祖国各地见证其自然风光与现代化成就,茗睿以个人的成长经历串联起了对祖国的认识与感情,她深情感叹这一切都离不开我们14亿中国人民团结一心,众志成城的信念,表达了对祖国的热爱与自豪。评委由衷赞叹道:“你以饱满的热情和真挚的语言让老师感受到了你的爱国情怀,你游历了祖国的山山水水,开阔了眼界,感受到了祖国的发展和进步,也传递了作为新时代少年的使命感和责任感,让在座的同学更加感受到作为祖国少年,你们自身的发展对祖国的重要性。”

From learning about the outline of the country through puzzle games when he was younger, to studying the national flag, emblem, and anthem at school, and then traveling across the nation to witness its natural beauty and modernization achievements, Mingrui connected his personal growth experiences with his understanding and feelings for the country. He passionately reflected that all of this is inseparable from the unity and determination of our 1.4 billion Chinese people, expressing his love and pride for the motherland. The judges sincerely praised him, saying, “With your heartfelt enthusiasm and sincere words, you made us feel your patriotic spirit. You have traveled across the mountains and rivers of our country, broadened your horizons, and experienced the development and progress of our nation. You conveyed the sense of mission and responsibility that comes with being a young person in this new era, making your classmates more aware of the significance of your own development to the motherland.”

Yu Junhan from class 6V delivered a speech that focused on the educational reforms taking place in a small mountain village, highlighting the progress in education and the tremendous achievements of the country in technology, economy, and culture. She emphasized the importance of education, stating passionately that the rapid development of the nation relies on the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China and the collective efforts of the people. She also called on young people to study hard and strive to realize the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
The judges commented, “You cleverly used the difficulties faced by children in mountainous areas as an entry point to showcase the importance and investment in education by our country in recent years. Your speech was well-rounded and logically clear, successfully conveying a positive outlook. Your performance today was also outstanding, and I am proud of you. Keep it up! I believe you will shine even brighter!”

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次,学生自主报名参与,中文、英文均可,老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲,主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说,善思、善辩、善究。
The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely; to improve their thinking, debating, and conducting of research.
E-talk的舞台是开放的,我们欢迎每一位VBS未来少年来到这里,站在聚光灯下,向世界展示自己的独特魅力;我们鼓励孩子们挑战自我,突破困境;我们相信,每一个孩子都有无限的潜力,只要他们有勇气站上舞台,就有可能成为真正的演讲者。

The stage of the E-talk is open. We welcome every future VBS teenager to come here, stand in the spotlight, and show their unique charms to the world; we encourage children to challenge themselves and break through difficulties; we believe that every child has unlimited potential. As long as they have the courage to stand on the stage, they may become real speakers.
让我们一起期待,在E-talk的舞台上,VBS未来少年们将如何用他们的声音,引领我们走进他们的世界,感受他们的热情与活力。
