万双网讯 向阳而生，逐光而行。段姝妤和段晴允的艺术创作，宛如向日葵在泥土中萌芽，散发着点点艺术光芒，充满生机。6月17日，向阳而生——段姝妤与段晴允艺术联展在梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校美术馆正式开幕。党支部书记杨帆校长，艺术组教师孙晓萌、黄诗韵、向炳南、Kayleigh Paige Gemmell、Nazanin Nafisi 、Teodora Pesic、段姝妤与段晴允及其家长、邀约亲友、学生代表等约100余人参与了活动。

Growing toward the sun and following the light, the artistic creations of Duan Shuyu and Duan Qingyun are like sunflowers sprouting in the soil, emitting a glimmer of artistic brilliance, full of vitality. On June 17, “Growing Toward the Sun” - Art Exhibition of Duan Shuyu and Duan Qingyun officially opened at the Art Gallery of Vanke Bilingual School. The Party branch secretary and principal Yang Fan, teachers of art group Sun Xiaomeng, Huang Shiyun, Xiang Bingnan, Kayleigh Paige Gemmell, Nazanin Nafisi, Teodora Pesic, Duan Shuyu and Duan Qingyun, their parents, invited relatives and friends, student representatives, and more than 100 people participated in the event.

在本次画展中，段姝妤同学以其天马行空的想象力，将日常生活中的平凡事物转化为奇幻世界的居民。对她而言，绘画是心灵的抒发，也是家庭共享宁静时光的媒介。

In this exhibition, Duan Shuyu transformed ordinary objects from daily life into residents of a fantastical world with her boundless imagination. For her, painting is a means of expressing the soul and sharing peaceful moments with family.

而对段晴允同学来说，绘画表达了她的个人看法，她相信每个人的画作都是独特的，最重要的是自己喜欢。她认为，画作只有融入喜怒哀乐，才会有生命的温度和激荡。

For Duan Qingyun, painting expresses her personal views. She believes that each piece of artwork is unique and the most important thing is to like it yourself. She thinks that artworks can only have the warmth and the stirring of life if they are infused with emotions like joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness.

心若向阳，花自开，让我们一同走进这个充满希望与梦想的艺术世界，感受那份纯粹而热烈的向阳之力。

With a heart toward the sun, flowers will bloom naturally. Let us enter this world of art filled with hope and dreams, and feel the pure and passionate power of the sun.

姝妤说：感谢万双为我们举办的这次画展，也感谢各位老师、同学和教练来参加画展开幕式。

Shuyu said, “Thank you to Vanke Bilingual School for hosting this art exhibition for us, and thanks to all the teachers, classmates, and coaches for attending the opening ceremony.”

晴允说：我们喜欢全家人在一个小小的空间里安静画画的感觉，这让我们觉得幸福和满足......

Qingyun said, “We love the feeling of peacefully painting together as a whole family in a small space. It makes us feel happy and fulfilled.”

我们喜欢画画，因为画画可以表达自己的看法，能让心情飞扬。我们喜欢画画，画里有喜怒哀伤，有了情绪的画才会有生命的力量。说了这么多，其实就是我们真的很喜欢画画。

We love painting because it allows us to express our views and lets our emotions soar. We love painting because it contains joy, anger, sorrow, and sadness. Only with these emotions can a painting have the power of life. In short, we really love painting.

万双这次画展，我们期待了很久。这是孩子们生命中第一次个展，能在喜欢的学校留下一份难忘回忆是如此弥足珍贵。和女儿们一起画画的时光，给了我诸多感触。陪女儿们画画不仅是一次次简单的陪伴，也是一场自我修行。虽说一直自诩会保护女儿创作的激情、旺盛的想象力以及自我的风格，但是路总是曲折，总有拐弯的地方。但前路的不可知，才是我们前进的原动力，才会越发显得迷人......

We have been looking forward to this art exhibition at Vanke Bilingual School for a long time. This is the first solo exhibition in our children’s lives, and leaving such unforgettable memories at their beloved school is immensely precious. The time spent painting with my daughters has given me many reflections. Painting with my daughters is not just about simple companionship, but also a journey of self-cultivation. Although I have always prided myself on preserving their passion for creation, their vibrant imagination, and their unique style, the road is always winding with inevitable turns. It is the uncertainty of the journey ahead that propels us forward and makes it all the more enchanting.

在这里再次感谢万双提供了这样一个展示的平台，孩子们能用手中的画笔与观展者交流，把她们对生命的热爱传递给大家，这将是一份难得的体验。真心希望这份热爱能够传递给每一位观展者，愿大家都能向阳而生，花自绽放。

Principal Yang Fan expressed that we hope to provide more platforms for children to showcase their talents.

杨帆校长对段姝妤与段晴允同学的艺术联展开展表示了热烈的祝贺。在活动当天，杨帆校长穿着一件艺术T恤到场，这件艺术T恤是一年前梅沙教育举办的艺术活动“城市烟火气”中选取了段姝妤同学的绘画作品印制而成的，杨帆校长的亮相给两位小艺术家、在场的嘉宾与同学们带来了惊喜与回忆。她表示，万科双语学校致力于为孩子们提供多方位展示自己的平台，希望她们把对艺术的热情、生活的热情继续在创作中体现出来。她表达了对段姝妤与段晴允同学的认可，同时也点赞了两位同学浓厚的家庭艺术氛围，再次证明了家校合力能为孩子的成长助力。本次艺术展览中这一系列的优秀成果正是源于家长对孩子的支持以及对学校的信任，同时也希望各位同学能向段姝妤与段晴允同学学习，找到自己的兴趣所在。

Principal Yang Fan extended warm congratulations to Duan Shuyu and Duan Qingyun for their art exhibition. On the day of the event, Principal Yang Fan wore an artistic T-shirt, which was printed with Duan Shuyu’s artwork selected from the “Urban Life” art event held by Meisha Education a year ago. Her appearance brought surprise and fond memories to the two young artists, the guests, and the students present. She expressed that Vanke Bilingual School is dedicated to providing platforms for students to showcase themselves in various ways. She hopes that the students will continue to reflect their passion for art and life in their creations. Principal Yang acknowledged the efforts of Duan Shuyu and Duan Qingyun, and applauded the artistic environment cultivated by their families, further proving that the combined efforts of home and school can significantly support children’s growth. She mentioned that the excellent outcomes of this art exhibition stemmed from the parents’ support and trust in the school. She also encouraged other students to learn from Duan Shuyu and Duan Qingyun and find their own interests.

本次艺术联展展出了段晴允8幅平面作品、1支动态绘画视频作品与段姝妤9幅平面作品、1支动态绘画视频作品。她们的作品就如同一幅藏宝图，等着大家细心揭示画面中隐藏的点点秘密。

This art exhibition features eight flat artworks and one animated painting video by Duan Qingyun, and nine flat artworks and one animated painting video by Duan Shuyu. Their works are like a treasure map, waiting for everyone to uncover the little secrets hidden in the pictures.

这些独特而富有想象力的画作，展现了小艺术家们色彩斑斓、灵动的内心世界，并通过画笔向我们表达了她们对生命和生活的热爱，展示了在小艺术家的眼中，这个世界是如此的奇妙。

These unique and imaginative paintings showcase the colorful and lively inner worlds of the young artists. Through their brushes, they express their love for life and living. Their works demonstrate how wonderfully magical the world appears in the eyes of these young artists.

开幕式结束后，全体与会人员参观了展览并进行了关于作品的艺术讨论。万科双语学校美术馆致力为学生提供展示艺术才华与创造力的平台，提升师生审美素养，创建优美的校园环境。希望这份对艺术创作的热爱能够传递给每一位观展者，愿大家都能向阳而生，花自绽放。

After the opening ceremony, all the attendees visited the exhibition and engaged in art discussions about the works. 小姐妹俩用多元的画风记录了家人、同学、居民、名人、宠物、怪物，以及自然界的鸟兽虫鱼、山川日月……，看似寻常的一切被极致的细节和奇特的思维重组成一个个极不寻常的艺术世界。每一幅画都体现了两位小画家的不俗画功，让观画者感受到画笔在手、世界我有的肆意抒情和自由丰富。

The two sisters used diverse painting styles to depict family members, classmates, residents, celebrities, pets, monsters, as well as birds, beasts, insects, fish, mountains, rivers, and celestial bodies in nature. What may seem ordinary has been recomposed into extraordinary artistic worlds through extreme detail and unique thinking. Each painting showcases the impressive skills of the young artists, allowing viewers to experience the expressive freedom and rich creativity that comes with a brush in hand.

什么是好的艺术作品？我想没有标准答案。但是站在姝妤和晴允的作品前，我感受到了强大的生命力，尤其是对艺术的热爱喷薄而出，它们融合了两姐妹对彼此、对家庭、对班级、对学校甚至是对这个世界的理解。这就是万双少年的模样，勇于表达、勇于传递，敢于憧憬和创造美好未来，有什么作品比他们的更令人喜欢呢？

What makes a good piece of art? I think there is no definitive answer. However, standing in front of Shuyu and Qingyun’s works, I felt their strong vitality, especially their overflowing love for art. Their works integrate their mutual understanding, their understanding of family, class, school, and even the world. This is what Vanke Bilingual School students represent: brave in expression, courageous in conveying messages, daring to dream of and create a beautiful future. What could be more delightful than their works?

向炳南老师：

Teacher Xiang Bingnan

这两位小艺术家的作品别具一格，极具个性。姐姐姝妤钟情于光怪陆离的艺术形象，妹妹晴允则拥有天马行空的想象力，能用画笔将身边的朋友描绘成有趣的模样。从她们的眼神和画作中，我们可以看到身边各种有趣的事物，其表达的内容也充满了趣味和浪漫。如此细腻的观察者，她们的作品怎能不让人喜爱呢？她们享受与全家人一起安静画画的美好时光，认为这就是幸福和满足的源泉。在她们身上，我看到了一种“心向阳光，静待花开”的生活态度。

The works of these two young artists are unique and highly individual. Elder sister Shuyu is passionate about surreal artistic images, while younger sister Qingyun possesses boundless imagination, able to depict her friends in interesting ways through her brush. From their expressions and artworks, we can see all kinds of fascinating things around us, and the contents they express are full of fun and romance. As such sensitive observers, how can their works not be lovable? They cherish the beautiful times of quietly painting with their family, seeing it as a source of happiness and fulfillment. In them, I see a life attitude of “heart towards the sunlight, quietly waiting for the flowers to bloom.”

Teacher Huang Shiyun

作为两位艺术家的艺术教师，我为她们感到骄傲。在这次联展中，姝妤的作品呈现出一个个奇幻的世界，她用线条编织出一幅幅梦境，每一笔都透露出对世界、对朋友的独特解读。她的画布邀请观者探索她的内心世界；而晴允的画作则是想象的飞翔，她以童真的眼光捕捉日常生活中的点滴，将其转化为充满趣味与温情的画面。她的作品不仅是对亲人们的纪念，更是对生活细节的热爱与赞美。

As the art teacher of these two young artists, I am proud of them. In this joint exhibition, Shuyu’s works present fantastical worlds; she weaves lines into dreamlike scenes, with each stroke reflecting a unique interpretation of the world and her friends. Her canvases invite viewers to explore her inner world. Qingyun’s paintings, on the other hand, are flights of imagination. She captures snippets of daily life through the innocent eyes of a child, transforming them into images full of charm and warmth. Her works are not only a tribute to her loved ones but also a celebration of and love for the intricacies of life.

两位艺术家的作品共同展现出对生活的深刻洞察与无限热爱，在她们的画作中，我看到了童年的纯真与家庭的陪伴，感受到了艺术的美好。愿她们继续保持这份对艺术的执着与热情，不断探索，不断创新，让艺术之花在心中永远绽放。

The works of these two young artists together exhibit profound insights into and boundless love for life. In their paintings, I see the innocence of childhood and the companionship of family, and I feel the beauty of art. Meggie and Joanna’s exhibition, ‘Living Towards the Sun,’ is a vibrant celebration of daily life and family. The girls’ skillful drawings and paintings showcase their exceptional abilities with brushes and pens. Meggie’s intricate details and Joanna’s bold strokes highlight their keen eye for capturing the essence of their subjects and their dedication to their craft. Excellent work, girls!

The exhibition by our two sisters, Joanna and Meggie, features a variety of colorful portraits, and intricate black and white paintings. The art offers a timeless and emotional experience for viewers, blending artistry and storytelling in a unique way.

They used a diverse range of styles and techniques, offering a visually engaging experience.

I was very happy to see them give an opening speech, feeling a bit anxious and proud at the same time. As Joanna’s teacher, I just want to wish both her and her sister to pursue their dream and continue expressing themselves visually, inspiring everyone around them.

The artists have good skills, especially in watercolor, their idea about the family shows strong feelings and she could show it very well with the connection between family, society, and art.
