万双网讯  2024年 6月11日上午8点，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校2023-2024第二学期第17周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由4C、4D班承担。 4C班是一个温暖友爱、积极进取的班级，4D班是一个团结进取、积极向上的班级。

VBS Net News  At 8 a.m., on June 11, 2024, the flag-raising ceremony for the 17th week of the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year took place on the school playground at Meisha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School. Classes 4C and 4D were responsible for this week's flag-raising ceremony. The flag-raising ceremony was hosted by Hu Zixin from 4C and Luo Wencan from 4D. Students Pan Yanting from 4C and Lin Xinran from 4D gave speeches under the national flag. Their speech topic was“Connected by the Dragon Boat Festival, Inheriting Traditions with Me.”The resident first secretary, Yang Yijuan, delivered a presentation on current affairs.

五月榴花照眼明，枝间时见子初成，又是一年端午至。历史的车轮碾过2300余年，端午节至今仍弥漫着悠久的文化馨香。

In May, the flowers shine brightly, and the branches are beginning to grow, and it is another year of the Dragon Boat Festival. More than 2,300 years, the Dragon Boat Festival is still filled with a long cultural.

作为夏日重要的传统节日，我们听到最多的是屈原。屈原有着忧国忧民的情怀，肩负着建设国家之责的屈原在国内推行了一系列政治改革，由此得罪了旧贵族，遭到诋毁攻击。面对压力，屈原宁为玉碎，不为瓦全，投江自刎。

The festival is a precious memory. On this day, the dragon boat races are held in many places. Dragon boat racing express people's awe and respect for life and nature. People praying for good weather and peace for the country and the people.

新华社联合国6月7日电 第78届联合国大会7日协商一致通过中国提出的设立文明对话国际日决议。

Xinhua News Agency, United Nations, June 7  The 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution on June 7, proposed by China, to establish an International Day of Civilizational Dialogue.

决议明确所有文明成就都是人类社会的共同财富，倡导尊重文明多样性，突出强调文明对话对于维护世界和平、促进共同发展、增进人类福祉、实现共同进步的重要作用，倡导不同文明间的平等对话和相互尊重，充分体现习近平主席提出的全球文明倡议的核心要义，并决定将6月10日设立为文明对话国际日。

The resolution clearly states that all civilizational achievements are the common wealth of human society, advocating for respect for civilizational diversity and highlighting the important role of civilizational dialogue in maintaining world peace, promoting common development, enhancing human well-being, and achieving mutual progress. It promotes equal dialogue and mutual respect among different civilizations, fully embodying the core essence of President Xi Jinping's Global Civilization Initiative, and decides to establish June 10 as the International Day of Civilizational Dialogue.

中国常驻联合国代表傅聪在联大全会介绍决议草案时表示，当前多重危机挑战交织叠加，世界进入新的动荡变革期，人类社会再次来到历史的十字路口。在此背景下，中方倡议联大设立文明对话国际日，旨在充分发挥文明对话对于消除歧视偏见、增进理解信任、促进民心相通、加强团结合作的重要作用，为人类社会团结应对共同挑战注入正能量。这体现了中国对多边主义和联合国工作的坚定支持，体现了中国在百年大变局中的大国担当。

Fu Cong, China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, introduced the draft resolution at the UN General Assembly plenary session, stating that in the context of the current multiple crises and challenges intertwining, the world has entered a new period of turbulence and transformation, and human society has once again reached a historical crossroads. Against this backdrop, China proposed establishing the International Day of Civilizational Dialogue at the UN General Assembly to fully leverage the important role of civilizational dialogue in eliminating discrimination and prejudice, enhancing understanding and trust, promoting people-to-people connections, and strengthening solidarity and cooperation, thus injecting positive energy into humanity's collective effort to address common challenges. This reflects China's firm support for multilateralism and the work of the United Nations, showcasing China's responsibility as a major country amid a century of profound changes.

国际社会一致支持联大设立文明对话国际日，充分表明全球文明倡议顺应时代潮流、契合时代需求，充分表明中国理念和中国方案正越来越多地成为国际共识。

The unanimous support from the international community for the establishment of the International Day of Civilizational Dialogue at the UN General Assembly fully demonstrates that the Global Civilization Initiative aligns with the trends of the times and meets the needs of the era. It also shows that Chinese ideas and solutions are increasingly becoming an international consensus.
