早在一个多月前，就有孩子担心2024的万双六一狂欢会因碰巧在周六而“消失”。当被告知：“杨校答应了，‘周六的六一周五过’时”，孩子们无不欣喜雀跃，拍手欢呼！

More than a month ago, some children were worried that the 2024 WanShuang Children's Day carnival would "disappear" because it happened to fall on a Saturday. When they were told, "Principal Yang has agreed, 'Children's Day on Saturday will be celebrated on Friday,'" the children were overjoyed and cheered!

经过全校老师和家长携手长达一个多月的筹备，万科双语学校2024年的六一狂欢终于在2024年5月31日如期而至！

After more than a month of joint preparation by all the teachers and parents, the 2024 WanKe Bilingual School Children's Day carnival finally arrived as scheduled on May 31, 2024!

当天早上，六年级一名学生身穿着蛙星人的服装早早来到校门口，和那群头戴可爱发箍的老师们一起迎接入校的未来少年！校门口顿时“蛙”声一片，孩子们脸上洋溢的灿烂笑容，为六一狂欢拉开了美好的序幕！

On that morning, a sixth-grade student dressed as a frog alien came early to the school gate, joining the teachers wearing cute headbands to welcome the future young students. The school gate was filled with "frog" sounds, and the children's bright smiles kicked off a wonderful Children's Day carnival!

早上8点，杨帆校长准时通过广播向孩子们送去节日祝福，她希望同学们能够用心去感受活动带来的快乐，用心去感受背后来自老师和家长们的爱！

At 8:00 a.m., Principal Yang delivered holiday blessings to the children via broadcast, hoping that they could wholeheartedly enjoy the happiness brought by the activities and feel the love from their teachers and parents!

杨帆校长在万双第一个六一筹备会上就提出：“每一次的活动我们都要站在孩子的视角去设计方案。六一是孩子们的节日，万双应该从一个学校“变”为一个游乐场，让孩子们可以在充满安全感的环境下和同伴们一起天真烂漫地玩，一起创造一个又一个难忘的回忆！在这个过程中他们会感受快乐，会感受来自老师、家长的爱，这些都将让孩子们的内心丰盈，帮助他们成为一个温暖的人，懂得感恩的人！”

In the first Children's Day preparation meeting at WanShuang, Principal Yang proposed, "Every event should be designed from the child's perspective. Children's Day is their holiday; WanShuang should transform from a school into an amusement park where children can play innocently with their peers in a safe environment, creating unforgettable memories together! In this process, they will experience joy, feel the love from teachers and parents, which will enrich their hearts and help them become warm and grateful individuals!"

于是，由全校两百多名老师、四百多名家长分散在每年的三大金刚项目（打水战、品美食、玩游戏）中，向一千多名学生“贩卖欢乐”，与孩子们在歌舞声、欢笑声中度过了一个令人心花怒放的六一狂欢儿童节。

Thus, over 200 teachers and more than 400 parents were scattered across the three major projects (water fights, food tasting, and games) each year, "selling happiness" to over 1,000 students, spending a heartwarming Children's Day carnival amid songs, dances, and laughter.

万双绿茵场上是孩子们最期待的主场活动：“The water fight”！他们手持水枪、水球，在操场上肆意嬉戏、追逐，欢笑声一浪高过一浪。童心未泯的杨帆校长和老师们也都加入到打水仗的行列，冷不防的“背后一枪”，接着便是你来我往的水球大战！孩子们把对师长的喜欢藏着水中，不断向他们发起进攻。下午七、八年级的师生在滂沱大雨中恣意奔跑，感受了一场酣畅淋漓的别样水战，那是童年应有的模样！历时两小时的水仗，让孩子们的天性得以彻底释放！

The green field at VBS was the most anticipated main activity for the children, "The water fight"! Armed with water guns and water balloons, they played and chased each other freely on the field, with laughter echoing louder and louder. Even Principal Yang Fan and the teachers, with their childlike hearts, joined the water fight, engaging in unexpected "back shots" followed by intense water balloon battles! The children hid their fondness for their mentors in the splashing water, continuously launching attacks. In the afternoon, seventh and eighth-grade teachers and students ran wildly in the pouring rain, experiencing a refreshing and unique water fight, embodying the essence of childhood! The two-hour-long water battle allowed the children's nature to be completely unleashed!

学校的架空层，摇身一变成为了美食的天堂！一至八年级那些可盐可甜的家长们承包了54个班级美食摊位。现场美食琳琅满目、香气四溢，令师生们大饱口福。而早在一个月前，筹备组就组织了全体摊位主的培训会，对摊位的美食品类、购买渠道、卫生保障、安全储存等方面提出了严格的要求。尽管挑战多多，但依然难不倒心灵手巧的家长们，各式homemade美食营养健康，色香味俱全，刺激着全场师生味蕾的同时，也让大家经历了一场视觉盛宴！

The school's elevated floor transformed into a food paradise! Parents, both sweet and savory, from grades one to eight managed 54 class food stalls. With a wide variety of delicious foods, the aroma filled the air, giving teachers and students a feast. A month earlier, the organizing team had held training sessions for all stall owners, setting strict requirements for food categories, purchasing channels, hygiene, and safety storage. Despite the challenges, the resourceful parents succeeded, offering homemade healthy, nutritious, and tasty foods that not only tantalized everyone's taste buds but also provided a visual feast!

当然，以仪式感与实力并存而著名的万双食堂在当天中午，凭着对孩子们口味的了如指掌，以一顿美味丰盛的爱心午餐再次俘获了无数未来少年的心。

Of course, the renowned VBS cafeteria, known for its sense of ritual and quality, won the hearts of countless future young students once again with a delicious and hearty lunch, perfectly tailored to their tastes.

而在教学楼的各大楼层里，遍布着学校精心准备的42个游戏项目：超级大富翁、万双赛车手、足球飞镖、划龙舟、风火轮、开心打地鼠……孩子们和同伴穿梭在各游戏场地，沉浸式体验不同的项目，将快乐进行到底，欢呼声、欢笑声此起彼伏！

Scattered throughout the teaching building were 42 meticulously prepared game projects, such as Super Monopoly, WanShuang Racers, Soccer Darts, Dragon Boat Rowing, Fire Wheels, Whack-a-Mole... Children, along with their companions, roamed these game areas, immersing themselves in different activities, pursuing happiness to the fullest, with cheers and laughter resonating everywhere!

“属于孩子的节日，他们不需要全都成为台上的表演者！当然，除非分享自己热爱的才艺是他们乐意做的事！”于是，万双为多才多艺的孩子们准备了一个自由轻松的快闪舞台，主打自发炫技！不需要经过层层选拔，不需要精心准备，只要情绪对了，就上台自信展示自我！歌声、琴声、欢呼声感染了现场每一位被吸引而来的观众！家长们纷纷发圈感叹“在万双看到了童年最美好的模样！”

"Children don’t need to be performers on stage during their festival! Unless sharing their beloved talents is something they enjoy doing!" Therefore, VBS prepared a free and relaxed flash stage for the talented children, focusing on spontaneous performances! No rigorous selection, no meticulous preparations, just get on stage and confidently showcase your skills when the mood strikes! The singing, instrumental music, and cheers touched every audience member drawn to the scene! Parents couldn't help but express in their social circles, "I've seen the best of childhood at VBS!"
