万双网讯 为锻造学生乐观、坚毅、包容的VBS核心素养，营造阳光、健康的校园氛围，3月18日至4月28日，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校第六届“万双杯”足球赛火热进行，学校一至八年级54个班级全员上场，历时5周，展开了77场精彩纷呈的“夺杯”大战和8场教师、家长足球赛。经过激烈角逐，54个班级获得“万双杯”，108名同学荣获金球奖。

VBS Net News  To cultivate the core VBS qualities of optimism, resilience, and inclusiveness in students and create an optimistic and healthy campus atmosphere, the 6th "VBS Cup" football tournament at Vanke Bilingual School took place from March 18 to April 28. All 54 classes from grades 1 to 8 participated, competing in 77 exciting matches over five weeks and 8 additional games involving teachers and parents. After intense competition, 54 classes won the "VBS Cup," and 108 students were awarded the Golden Boot.

“万双杯”足球赛每年举办一次，以班级为单位参赛，现已成为学校阳光体育活动的重要内容，班级之间互动交流的纽带，同学们强身健体、公平竞赛的平台。开幕式上，足球宝贝带来了精彩的舞蹈，体育老师们展示了精湛的球技，杨帆校长寄语同学们：人生就像赛场，有输有赢，但最值得铭记的不是输赢，而是团结协作的风采，勇敢拼搏的精神。胜不骄、败不馁，祝愿每一位VBS学子永葆乐观和坚毅，团结与包容，勇敢创造美好未来。

The "VBS Cup" football tournament is held annually, with class-based teams participating. It has become an important part of the school's sports activities, a bond for interaction between classes, and a platform for students to strengthen their bodies and compete fairly. At the opening ceremony, football cheerleaders performed wonderful dances, PE teachers showcased superb ball skills, and Principal Yang encouraged students with these words “Life is like a competition field, with wins and losses, but what should be remembered most is not the outcome but the spirit of teamwork and brave striving. Win without arrogance, lose without discouragement. May every VBS student maintain optimism and resilience, unity and inclusiveness, and bravely create a beautiful future.”

比赛中，同学们全员参与，奋勇争先，为集体的荣誉而战。在汗水、泪水交织的赛场上，谱写了一曲曲动人的战歌。

During the competition, students fought courageously for collective honor. On the field, where sweat and tears intermingled, they composed moving battle anthems.

家长、老师、同学现场助威，加油声、呐喊声此起彼伏，团结、合作的精神在赛场展现得淋漓尽致，VBS校园成了欢乐的海洋。

Parents, teachers, and students cheered on-site, with shouts and cheers resonating. The spirit of solidarity and cooperation was vividly displayed on the field, turning the VBS campus into a sea of joy.

本次比赛持续一个多月，除了学生足球赛以外，也有家长和老师的友谊赛。家长自主申报，组成了4只球队参赛，并与学校教师足球队进行了较量，学校成为学生、老师、家长共同成长与拼搏的地方。

This tournament lasted for over a month. Parents autonomously formed four teams to participate and competed against the school's teacher football team, making the school a place for students, teachers, and parents to grow and strive together.

【论坛】——VBS中小学生足球专题沙龙在学校剧场举行

4月28日晚，2024年VBS中小学生足球专题沙龙暨教师与家长足球赛颁奖仪式在学校剧场举行。

On the evening of April 28th, the 2024 VBS Primary and Secondary School Football Salon and the Teacher-Parent Football Match Award Ceremony were held at the school theater.

“小小足球场，悲欣交集，可谓人生教育大课堂。”本次比赛在杨帆校长的策划下，增加了论坛环节，旨在将足球教学上升到足球教育的高度，更加明晰足球运动在学生成长过程中的作用和意义。4月28日，首届课程与学生成长论坛在学校剧场举行。论坛以“万双足球教育在学生成长中的重要作用”为主题，杨帆校长、3名足球外教

（Dima、Aguaro、Alex）、3名学生（何沐、王鹏旭、吴芊芊）和3名家长（陈雅琳家长、朱谨希家长、吴芮颖家长）在剧场做了精彩分享。本次论坛同时面向全校师生家长直播。

"The small football field, filled with both sorrow and joy, can be seen as a grand classroom for life education." This competition, planned by Principal Yang, included a forum segment to elevate football teaching into the realm of football education, clarifying the role and significance of football in students' growth. On April 28th, the first Curriculum and Student Growth Forum was held at the school theater. The forum, themed "The Important Role of WanShuang Football Education in Student Growth," featured insightful shares from Principal Yang, teacher Dima, eight students, and two parents. The forum was also broadcast live to all school staff, students, and parents.

杨帆校长发言讲述了设置足球课的初衷，阐述了足球教育在万双课程体系中的位置和实施办法，强调了开设足球课的意义，同时希望同学们奋勇争先，敢于拼搏，以成长型思维看待输赢，养成乐观、坚毅、包容的品格，锻炼强健的体魄。通过五年来的实践，万双足球赛场上看到了学生因学习足球而增长了体质和毅力，学会了团结与合作，学会了正确看待失败，体会到了全力拼搏的意义。

In her speech, Principal Yang discussed the original intent behind setting up football classes, elaborated on the position and implementation methods of football education within the WanShuang curriculum system, emphasized the significance of offering football classes, and encouraged students to strive forward, be brave in competition, view winning and losing with a growth mindset, develop optimistic, resilient, and inclusive characters, and build strong physiques. Over five years of practice, the VBS football field has witnessed students enhance their physical fitness and perseverance through learning football, learn teamwork and cooperation, understand how to properly handle failure, and realize the significance of giving their all.

同学们在论坛中表示，足球给他们带来了勇气、乐趣、思考、成长等，学会了包容、团结、拼搏，永不言弃，看到了更大的世界。

Students expressed during the forum that football has brought them courage, joy, reflection, and growth. They have learned inclusiveness, unity, striving, and never giving up, seeing a broader world because of it.

从上一届万双杯开始，我提议增加了论坛环节，目的是让我们可以在这里分享和交流足球带给我们的快乐和智慧。刚才老师、同学和家长的发言都很精彩，让我们对足球教育的理解又深入了一步。

Since the last VBS Cup, I proposed adding a forum segment with the aim of sharing and exchanging the joy and wisdom that football brings us. The speeches from teachers, students, and parents just now were all wonderful, taking our understanding of football education to a deeper level.

In this year’s competition, we saw fewer tears and more joy and excitement. We felt that the overall level of each class had significantly improved. As we know, football is not just a sport; it is a culture, a spirit, and an important companion in the growth journey of our children. At Vanke Bilingual School, football has become an integral part of our campus culture. Every year, the school hosts football events, allowing students to sweat on the green field, experience the power of teamwork, and exercise their unyielding will. No other sport can create such a lively atmosphere and involve every parent and student like football does. We are very proud because this is not just a competitive game but also a practice of life education, teaching us respect, perseverance, and courage to face challenges through the competition.

这一届比赛，学校严格要求各班不允许请校外教练，不允许家长额外花钱培训。目的是希望各班学生公平竞争，在比赛中更好地展现学校足球教育的成果，学会正确看待成功与失败。这一届比赛虽然没有了校外教练和训练，但我们看到更多的班级学生周末自己悄悄约着练球，为班级的荣誉而努力，在自发训练中增强了同学间的交往和友谊，增强了集体荣誉感。这样的状态才是我们期待的。我想，足球精神是我们每一位学生都应该学习和内化的。它教会我们如何在困难面前保持乐观，如何在失败后迅速站起来，如何在成功时保持谦逊，如何团结一心，相互支持。这些在足球场上学到的宝贵品质，将会伴随孩子们的一生。将来，用足球与内心对话，用足球与世界对话。

For this year's competition, the school strictly required that no external coaches be hired by classes, and no extra money be spent on training. The purpose was to ensure fair competition among students and better showcase the results of the school's football education, as well as to learn how to correctly view success and failure. Despite the absence of external coaches and training, we witnessed more students quietly practicing football on weekends for the honor of their class. This spontaneous training enhanced their interactions and friendships and fostered a sense of collective honor. This is the state we have been hoping for. I believe that the spirit of football is something every student should learn and internalize. It teaches us how to remain optimistic in the face of difficulties, how to quickly get back up after failures, how to stay humble in success, and how to unite and support each other. These valuable qualities learned on the football field will accompany the children throughout their lives. In the future, they will use football to converse with their hearts and the world.

当然，比赛中也显现出一些需要我们以后注意的问题，例如：班级技术差距较大，部分学生还不懂比赛规则等，希望足球老师重视，加强总结，在后续的教学中关注全体，以兴趣为导向，强化基本技能的训练，做好规则的培训，加强配合指导，真正体现足球的合作之美，个人技术突破之美。

Of course, some issues emerged during the competition that we need to address in the future, such as significant differences in technical skills between classes and some students still not understanding the rules of the game. I hope our football teachers will take these seriously, strengthen summarization, focus on all students in subsequent teachings, base their methods on interest, enhance basic skill training, provide rule education, improve cooperation guidance, and truly reflect the beauty of teamwork and individual skill breakthroughs in football.
