万双网讯 5月23日下午，万科双语学校五年级的学生们怀着激动的心情来到了中国文化名人大营救纪念馆。这里，是这段历史的见证者，也是英勇事迹的传承地。

On the afternoon of May 23rd, the fifth-grade students of Vanke Bilingual School arrived at the Chinese Cultural Celebrities Great Rescue Memorial Hall with excitement. This place is a witness to that part of history and a site where valiant deeds are preserved.

朱馆长通过丰富的图片和实物，生动地再现了那段历史。他告诉孩子们，1941年12月25日，香港被日军攻占。留困在香港的大批中国爱国民主人士和文化人士等，遭到日本侵略军的搜捕，生命安全受到严重威胁。开辟了宝安羊台山抗日根据地的广东人民抗日游击队立即行动起来，从1942年年初开始，历时四个多月，先后将何香凝、柳亚子、邹韬奋、茅盾等300多名爱国民主人士和文化人士、10多位国民党军政官员家属，英、美、荷、比、印等100多名国际友人，以及其他人员共800多人，安全护送到宝安、龙华、惠阳、海丰、江门、台山等地，其中大部分人员来到了民治白石龙村。

Curator Zhu brought that period of history back to life through a rich array of photos and artifacts. He told the children that on December 25, 1941, Hong Kong fell to the Japanese army. A large number of Chinese patriots, democrats, and cultural figures stranded in Hong Kong faced severe threats to their lives from the invading Japanese forces. The Guangdong People's Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Troops, who had established the Ba'an Yangtai Mountain as an anti-Japanese base, sprang into action. Beginning in early 1942, over the course of more than four months, they successfully escorted over 300 patriotic democrats and cultural figures—including He Xiangning, Liu Yazi, Zou Taofen, Mao Dun—and families of more than ten Nationalist military and government officials, along with over 100 international friends from Britain, America, the Netherlands, Belgium, India, and other personnel totaling over 800 people, to safety in locations such as Bao'an, Longhua, Huiyang, Haifeng, Jiangmen, Taishan, with most arriving at Minzhi Baishilong Village.

Curator Zhu's words were filled with reverence for that period and respect for those brave individuals. He said, "This was a great rescue operation that not only protected our culture but also passed on our national spirit."

孩子们听得如痴如醉，他们的眼神中充满了敬佩和好奇。他们纷纷提问，想要了解更多关于那场营救行动的细节。朱馆长耐心地一一解答，让孩子们更加深入地了解了那段历史。他们的眼中闪烁着对英雄的敬仰，对文化的热爱。

The children listened intently, their eyes filled with admiration and curiosity. They eagerly asked questions, keen to learn more about the details of the rescue operation. Curator Zhu answered patiently, allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of that historical period. Their eyes sparkled with respect for the heroes and love for their culture.

习近平总书记说：“新时代的中国青年，生逢其时，重任在肩，施展才华的舞台无比广阔，实现梦想的前景无比光明。”今天的活动让孩子们更加深刻地理解了民族精神的伟大，也让他们明白了自己的责任和使命。对师生保存红色记忆、传递革命精神、维系红色文脉具有深远意义。孩子们纷纷表示：要学习那些英勇无畏的人们，为国家和民族做出自己的贡献。

President Xi Jinping has said, "The youths of the new era in China are born at the right time, with heavy responsibilities on their shoulders. They have an incredibly broad stage on which to display their talents and a very bright future to realize their dreams." Today's activity gave the children a deeper understanding of the greatness of the national spirit and made them realize their own responsibilities and mission. It is of profound significance for teachers and students to preserve the red memory, to pass on the revolutionary spirit, and to maintain the red cultural vein. The children expressed their determination to learn from those brave and fearless individuals and contribute to their country and nation.
