The flag raising ceremony was presided over by Lin Shiqi from Class 4F and Cao Zizheng from Class 4E. Pan Haoyang from class 4F and Yang Shuran from class 4E gave speeches under the national flag. The title of their speech is "True Understanding, Sincere Care". Yang Yijuan, the first secretary dispatched, gave a hot topic speech on current affairs.

今年5月12日是第16个全国防灾减灾日，5月11日至17日为防灾减灾宣传周。为深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于防灾减灾救灾重要论述精神，国家防灾减灾救灾委员会办公室在思想认识、科普宣教、隐患排查、应急演练、应对处置上都做了相关重要提醒。

May 12th this year marks the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day, with the week of May 11th to 17th being designated as Disaster Prevention and Reduction Publicity Week. To deeply learn and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on disaster prevention, reduction, and relief, the Office of the National Disaster Reduction Committee has provided important reminders related to ideological understanding, popular science education, hidden danger investigation, emergency drills, and response handling.

比如台风来了，我们就要清理阳台物品免得高空坠物，还要关好门窗；打雷下雨，我们不能躲在树下面；在家里，易燃物不能放在灶台边，吹风机不能长时间使用，电动车不能入户充电；在路上，坐电动车要和家长一起佩戴头盔，坐私家车和校车要绑好安全带；在学校，攀岩课、游泳课、做实验都要听从老师的指挥。更多的安全知识请同学们开展PBL继续研究学习哦。

For instance, when a typhoon is approaching, we need to clear balcony items to prevent falling objects from heights, and ensure doors and windows are closed. During thunderstorms, we should not shelter under trees. At home, flammable materials must not be placed near the stove; hair dryers should not be used for extended periods; electric vehicles should not be charged indoors. On the road, helmets should be worn when riding electric bikes with an adult, and seatbelts must be used in private cars and school buses. At school, we must follow the teacher's instructions during climbing, swimming lessons, or conducting experiments. For more safety knowledge, students are encouraged to continue researching and learning through PBL.

同学们，学校为了保障师生安全，做了那些工作呢？杨校主持了多次安全培训，她强调，利用人工智能手段，以“物联+事联+人联”的理念打造万双安全体系。59名学生安全员和15名教师安全员已持证上岗。学校联合社区成立了学生欺凌综合治理委员会。学校邀请家长代表参观食堂及后厨，守护舌尖上的安全。希望同学们做到人人讲安全，个个会应急。掌握足够的防灾减灾救灾知识和能力，去保护更多的人，在未来为国家、世界的防灾减灾救灾工作贡献力量。

Students, what has the school done to ensure the safety of teachers and students?
