万双网讯 5月10日,梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校五年级学生进行了主题为“We love games”的PBL项目式学习成果展。学生们穿梭在不同的课室间,组织并参与到几十种好玩有趣的游戏中。
On May 10th, the fifth-grade students held a PBL (Project-Based Learning) achievement exhibition themed "We Love Games." Students moved between different classrooms, organizing and participating in dozens of fun and interesting games.
一、学习与研究
Learning and Research
本次PBL探究活动,五年级英语组依托了本学期第一单元的学习内容“Games in the past and present”,聚焦探究不同游戏的过去与现在。通过学习与自主探究,孩子们了解了许多不同国家的传统游戏,并对它们产生了浓厚的兴趣。
For this PBL inquiry activity, the fifth-grade English group built upon the learning content of the first chapter of this semester titled "Games in the Past and Present," focusing on exploring the past and present of different games. Through studying and independent research, the children learned about many traditional games from different countries, and they developed a keen interest in them.
活动前,五年级的英语老师首先带领着孩子们回顾了单元的重点知识,并拓展了不同国家的儿童所喜爱的游戏介绍。
Before the activity commenced, the fifth-grade English teachers led the students to review the key knowledge of the unit and expanded on the introduction of popular games among children in various countries.
该PBL项目正式启动后,每个班级的学生自由组队,选择感兴趣的游戏,通过查阅资料了解游戏的历史和玩法,或展开想象设计新的游戏,或进行游戏改编。然后,学生以自己小组的游戏为主题制作了精美海报,并在预热课堂活动中用英语对本组游戏进行了流利的介绍。孩子们在活动预热阶段就已经展现出极大的兴趣与热情,各小组摩拳擦掌,热烈期盼着项目成果展示环节的到来!
Once the PBL project officially started, students in each class freely formed teams, chose games of interest, and learned about the history and rules of these games through research, or by using their imagination to design new games, or by adapting existing games. Then, students created beautiful posters themed around their teams' game and fluently introduced their games in English during warm-up classroom activities. The children already showed great interest and enthusiasm during the warm-up stage, with each group eagerly looking forward to presenting their projects at the exhibition!
二、展示与交流
Presentation and Exchange
项目成果以“游戏嘉年华”摊位的形式进行展示。每个小组在自己的摊位上精心布置了游戏道具,展示了游戏宣传海报,积极“招揽顾客”,耐心地讲解游戏规则,热情地带领参与者进行游戏体验。
The project results were showcased in the form of Game Carnival booths. Each group carefully arranged their game props at their booths, displayed promotional posters for the games, actively "solicited customers," patiently explained the rules, and enthusiastically led participants through the gaming experience.
各小组分工明确、团结协作,每个孩子都成为了本场“游戏嘉年华”的积极组织者与参与者。同时,每个孩子也都参与到了与其他班级的交流中,通过角色转换,孩子们的思维不断碰撞出新的火花,他们相互学习、相互借鉴,并以此不断优化、改进自己的项目,沉浸式体验了“在玩中学”。
With clear division and united cooperation, each child became an active organizer and participant in this Game Carnival. At the same time, each child also took part in exchanges with other classes. Through role-switching, the children's thinking sparked new ideas, they learned from each other, and drew inspiration to continuously optimize and improve their projects, experiencing immersive learning through playing.

Experience and Gains
肖书禾:我认为这次项目研究非常有意义,我们组的游戏摊位非常成功,因为我跟小伙伴配合的很好。我觉得这些游戏都很好玩,我最喜欢的游戏是套圈和投壶游戏。
Xiao Shuhe said, “I think this project research is very meaningful. Our group's game booth was very successful because I coordinated well with my buddies. I find all these games fun, and my favorite ones are ring toss and pitch-pot.”
杨骐语:这次的项目式学习非常有趣,在这个展示的过程中我使用了大量的英语。有两位外教老师也参与了我们组的游戏,他们非常喜欢我们的Throw and catch游戏。
Yang Qiyu said, “ This PBL was really interesting, and I used a lot of English during the presentation. Two foreign teachers also joined our group's game; they really liked our Throw and Catch game.”
周桐晖: 这次活动我们做了很多准备工作,意义非常,我深刻感受到了团队合作的重要性,无论是海报制作和游戏组织环节,都需要跟队友们一起完成。在活动过程中我们玩得很开心,很期待下一次的PBL。
Zhou Tonghui said, “We did a lot of preparation work for this activity, which was very meaningful. I deeply realized the importance of teamwork, whether it was poster production or game organization, it needed to be completed together with my teammates. During the activity, we had a lot of fun and look forward to the next PBL.”
陈虹颖: 很开心很有趣,在过程中我学到了新的英语单词,也体验了以前没有玩过的游戏。这些游戏都很有趣,没有电子产品我们依然玩得很开心!
Chen Hongying said, “It was so fun and exciting. During the process, I learned new English words and experienced games I had never played before. All these games were interesting, and we still had a lot of fun without electronic products!”
Michael老师:我在这次的展示活动中玩得很开心,去年的活动我也参加了,很惊讶很多学生都能对一些传统的游戏进行改编,他们太有创造力了!
Michael, our Science teacher, said, “I had a great time in this exhibition activity. I participated last year as well, and I'm amazed that many students could adapt some traditional games—they are so creative!”
Eric老师:我非常喜欢五年级的学生举办的活动!虽然我不是很擅长玩这些游戏,但是五年级的学生们非常耐心地教我。许多学生邀请我参加他们的活动,我尝试了很多种游戏,非常开心。
Eric, our Math teacher, said, “I really like the event organized by the fifth-grade students! Although I am not very good at playing these games, the fifth graders taught me patiently. Many students invited me to join their activities, and I tried many different games. It was a lot of fun.”
本次英语PBL项目式学习,学生在真实情境中基于他们最感兴趣的主题,自主探究、分工协作,老师成为了他们亲密的项目伙伴,在过程中给予及时、专业的引导。完成此次PBL项目式学习的过程,是学生经历的一次真实而严谨的学习过程,充分将课内知识融合到实践当中,在做中学、玩中学,充分激发了创新能力和学习兴趣,锻炼了英语口语表达、合作、沟通、批判性思维的能力。
For this English project, students engaged in autonomous exploration and cooperative division based on the topics they were most interested in within real-life contexts, with teachers becoming their close project partners, providing timely and professional guidance throughout the process. Completing this PBL was a true and rigorous learning journey for the students, fully integrating classroom knowledge into practice, learning through doing and through playing, which greatly stimulated their creativity and learning interest. It also honed their abilities in English oral expression, cooperation, communication, and critical thinking.
