万双网讯 繁花似锦五月天，人间最美劳动者。“五一”国际劳动节，是劳动人民共同的节日。漫溯历史长河，每一个熠熠生辉的时刻无不凝聚着劳动者的智慧，每一次举世瞩目的成就无不浸透着劳动者的汗水。

May Day is the most beautiful day for labourers on earth. May Day,also called International Worker’s Day, is the common holiday of the working people. Tracing the long river of history, every shining moment is full of the wisdom of the workers, and every remarkable achievement is soaked in the sweat of the workers.

5月1日至5日，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校各年级从学科融合的角度出发，开展了形式多样的五一劳动节实践活动。万双学子在实践作业中了解劳动节的由来和意义，歌颂勤劳与奉献，致敬辛勤耕耘的劳动者。更是用实际行动诠释劳动之美，展现劳动的风采，体会劳动的乐趣与光荣。

From May 1st to 5th, all grades of Meisha Education Vanke Bilingual School carried out various forms of May Day practice activities from the perspective of subject integration. Students at VBS learned about the origin and meaning of Labor Day in their practical homework, praised diligence and dedication, and paid tribute to the hard-working workers. It is also to interpret the beauty of labor with practical actions, show the style of labor, and experience the fun and glory of labor.

一年级的劳动节实践作业融合了语文、劳动、英语等学科。孩子们在假期观察身边的劳动者，将他们的劳动足迹用文字记录下来；同时阅读英语绘本，并进行续写。此外，孩子们选择家里的一类闲置物品进行分类整理，引导他们进行劳动实践。父母和孩子都对本次的实践进行了评价。

The Labor Day practical assignment of the first grade integrates Chinese, labor, English and other subjects. The children observed the workers around them during the holidays and recorded their labor footprints in writing; at the same time, they read the English picture book  and continued to write about it. In addition, the children choose a type of idle items at home to sort and organize them，guiding them to carry out labor practices. Both parents and children commented on the practice.

二年级开展了“小小劳动者”的综合实践活动。孩子们承担了家务劳动，深入体验了家人平日的辛勤付出。从拖地到洗碗，从折叠衣物到整理床铺等，他们以满腔热忱投入到每一项家务之中，记录下自己的感受，并用英文表达自己能做的家务。让我们看看二年级的小小劳动者们有多能干吧！

In the second grade, a comprehensive practical activity of “Little Workers” was carried out. The children took on the housework and experienced the hard work of their families on a daily basis. From mopping the floor to washing dishes, from folding laundry to making beds, they were passionate about every chore, recording their feelings and expressing what they could do in English. Let's see how capable the little workers in the second grade are!

三年级学生完成以“发现劳动之美，传承劳动精神”为主题的实践作业。通过“致敬劳动者、劳动我能行、Nice people around me”三个任务，学生们对身边平凡的劳动者们表达了谢意，通过各项劳动体会劳动的快乐，并用英语描述了身边的劳动者。孩子们在体会劳动者辛勤的同时，增强了社会责任感。

Students of the third grade completed a comprehensive practical homework with the theme of “discovering the beauty of labor and inheriting the spirit of labor”. Through the three tasks of “Salute to Laborers, I Can Do Labor, and Nice People Around me”, the students expressed their gratitude to the ordinary workers around them, experienced the joy of labor through various labors, and described the workers around them in English. While experiencing the hard work of the workers, the children have strengthened their sense of social responsibility.

四年级开展了以“向劳动者致敬”为主题的实践活动。本次活动以语文和英语学科进行展开，学生观看了《感动中国2023年度人物盛典》，感受了平凡劳动者的不平凡，并写下自己的感受。此外，学生通过查找资料，了解了其他国家劳动节的相关知识，并用图片和英文书写来进行介绍。

The fourth grade carried out labor practice activities with the theme of “Salute to Workers”. The activity was carried out in Chinese and English, and the students watched the video “People Who Moved China of the Year 2023 Awards Ceremony”, felt the extraordinary of ordinary workers, and wrote down their feelings. In addition, students learned about Labor Day in other countries through searching for materials, and introduced them with pictures and writing in English.

在祖国这片热土上，每个人都用自己最大的力量来创造幸福，就算自己身负重病、或先天身体残缺，依旧会付出超出常人的努力。五年级孩子们通过观看《感动中国2023年度人物盛典》，来了解伟大的优秀劳动者，感受并学习其精神，继承和延续中华民族几千年来互帮互助、团结有爱的传统美德。

In the land of the motherland, everyone uses their greatest strength to create happiness, even if they are seriously ill or born with a physical disability, they will still puts in more efforts than ordinary people. By watching the video “People Who Moved China of the Year 2023 Awards Ceremony”, the fifth-grade children learnt about the great and outstanding workers, felt and learnt from their spirit, inherited and continued the traditional virtues of mutual help,unity and love among the Chinese people for thousands of years.

六年级开展了以“劳动淬炼成长，实践创造幸福”为主题的实践活动。学生通过查阅历史资料，了解了五一劳动节的由来；并用笔下的文字书写着对“最可爱的人”深深的敬意！

In the sixth grade, a practical activity was carried out with the theme of “Labor Tempers Growth, Practice Creates Happiness”. Students learned about the origin of Labour Day by consulting historical materials and used their pens to express their deep respect for the “loveliest person”!

七年级将道法与劳动教育相结合，让学生深度探寻“五一国际劳动节”的意义，了解劳动者以顽强、英勇不屈的奋斗精神，为自己争取合法权益，并感受劳动带来的快乐。

The seventh grade combines Law and Morality with Labor Education, allowing students to deeply explore the meaning of “May Day”, to understand the tenacious and heroic spirit of laborers, to fight for their legitimate rights and interests, and to feel the happiness brought by labor.

为了致敬努力工作的劳动者，八年级开展了“寻梦劳动人，铸造劳动魂”为主题的实践活动。通过采访身边的劳动者的形式，学生了解并研究每种职业的价值和重要性，根据自身特点思考未来适合自己的职业，从而在学习上做到真正的为未来而学。

In order to pay tribute to the hard-working workers, the eighth grade carried out a practical activity with the theme of “Dreaming of Laborers, Casting the Soul of Labor”. Through interviewing with the workers around them, students understood and studied the value and importance of each profession, guiding them to think about the career that suits them in the future according to their own characteristics, so that they can truly study for the future.

“岁月不居，天道酬勤。”中华民族是勤于劳动、善于创造的民族。广大劳动群众立足各自岗位，谱写着平凡却不凡的劳动赞歌，共同用双手创造属于自己的幸福和国家的光荣。

Time stops for no one,heaven rewards those who work hard. The Chinese nation is a nation that is diligent in labor and good at creating.The masses of working people are based on their respective positions, writing ordinary but extraordinary hymns of labour, and creating their own happiness and the glory of the country with their hands.

劳动是生活的基础，是幸福的源泉。通过以劳动为主题的综合实践活动，万双学子感受劳动的快乐，增强劳动意识，以自己的实际行动来传承劳动精神，弘扬中华民族传统美德。

Labor is the foundation of life and the source of happiness. Through comprehensive practice activities with the theme of labor, students at VBS feel the joy of labor, enhance the awareness of labour, inherit the spirit of labor with their own practical actions, and promote the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation.

教育来源于生活，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校一直给学生提供具有生活价值的学习。在生活中，学生用心去感受，用双手去创造，用身体丈量世界，用爱感染他人。世界是课本，生活是教材，在实践中探寻真理，学生们度过了一个充实且有意义的劳动节假期，争做有责任、有担当、敢于创造美好未来的中国公民。
