尊敬的老师、亲爱的同学们，大家好！今天是4月15日国家安全教育日。在这个特殊的日子里，我荣幸地站在国旗下，以“国家安全，你我同行”为主题，和大家分享我的一些思考和感悟。

Dear teachers and students！Good morning!Today is April 15th, the National Security Education Day. On this special day, I am honored to stand under the national flag and share some of my thoughts and insights with you under the theme of "National Security, We Work Together".

首先，请允许我向大家提问：什么是国家安全？可能有些同学会认为这是一个宏大而遥远的概念，但实际上，国家安全与我们的生活息息相关。

First of all, allow me to ask everyone: What is national security? Some students may think that this is a grand and distant concept, but in fact, national security is closely related to our lives.

国家安全是指国家政权、主权、统一和领土完整、人民福祉、经济社会可持续发展和国家其他重大利益相对处于没有危险和不受内外威胁的状态，以及保障持续安全状态的能力。

National security refers to the ability of a country's political power, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, people's well-being, sustainable economic and social development, and other major national interests to be relatively safe from internal and external threats, as well as to ensure a sustained state of security.

简单来说，只有国家安全才能保障我们每个人的生活安宁和幸福。

In short, national security is about ensuring our peace and happiness.

那么，作为站在未来中央的万双少年，我们应该如何参与到国家安全的建设中来呢？我认为，我们可以从以下几个方面做起：

Therefore, as a VBS student standing in the center of the future, how should we participate in the construction of national security? I think we can start with the following aspects:

第一， 增强国家安全意识。我们要时刻牢记国家安全的重要性，自觉维护国家安全，警惕潜在的威胁。当我们在日常生活中遇到可疑行为或者安全隐患时，要及时向相关部门报告，共同守护国家的安全。

Firstly, we need to raise awareness of national security. We must always bear in mind the importance of national security, consciously maintain national security, and be vigilant against potential threats. When we encounter suspicious behavior or security risks in our daily lives, we must promptly report to relevant departments and jointly safeguard the security of the country.

第二， 积极学习国家安全知识。只有掌握了足够的知识，我们才能更好地应对各种安全挑战。我们可以通过阅读相关书籍、参加安全教育活动等方式，不断提高自己的安全意识。

Secondly, we should actively learn national security knowledge. Only with sufficient knowledge can we better face various security challenges. We can continuously improve security awareness by reading relevant books, participating in safety education activities, and so on.

第三， 养成良好的行为习惯。在日常生活中，我们要遵守法律法规，不参与任何危害国家安全的活动。同时，我们还要学会保护自己的个人信息，防止被不法分子利用。

Thirdly, we should cultivate good behavioral habits. In our daily life, we must abide by laws and regulations and not participate in any activities that endanger national security. At the same time, we also need to learn to protect our personal information and prevent it from being used by criminals.

最后，我想说的是，国家安全是每一个人的责任。我们每个人都应该时刻保持警惕，积极投身到国家安全的建设中来。只有这样，我们才能共同创造一个和谐、稳定、繁荣的社会环境。

4月11日，台湾地区前领导人马英九率台湾青年结束11天的行程返回岛内，此行受到两岸同胞和国际社会广泛关注。

On April 11, former Taiwan leader Ma Ying-jeou led Taiwanese youths to return to the island after an 11-day trip. This trip attracted widespread attention from compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and the international community.

马英九首站来到了改革开放的窗口——深圳，参观大疆、腾讯、比亚迪三家高科技企业，多次被这些企业的科技成果折服。接着在广州、陕西、北京继续展开寻根之旅。百闻不如一见，马英九一行感受到中华民族伟大的历史文化以及大陆的飞速发展。

Ma Ying-jeou's first stop was Shenzhen, the window of reform and opening up. The China Review News Agency stated that Ma Ying-jeou's return visit to the mainland was, firstly, to deliver a message of cross-strait peace; secondly, to regain cross-strait identity; thirdly, to be determined to assume the important role of peace envoy; and fourthly, to re-wipe the cross-strait communication channels, which will be more meaningful for the future cross-strait situation.

4月10日，中共中央总书记习近平在北京会见了马英九一行。习近平总书记强调，两岸同胞有共同的血脉、共同的文化、共同的历史，更重要的是我们对民族有共同的责任、对未来有共同的期盼。

On April 10, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, met with Ma Ying-jeou and his delegation in Beijing. General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait have a common blood, a common culture, and a common history. More importantly, we have a common responsibility for the nation and a common expectation for the future.

同学们，万双从一年级开始就有历史课，学校还打造了考古实践基地。从历史看，中国最早的史书《尚书》中就有关于台湾的记载。从秦朝开始，大陆军民就曾到访、戍守或移民台湾，考古发掘的千年遗物也来自大陆，现在台湾居民大部分来自大陆。从地理上，台湾是东海大陆架的一部分。再从法律角度，《反分裂国家法》提供了有力的法律依据。无论哪个角度，台湾都是中国不可分割的一部分，海峡两岸坚持“一个中国”原则，祖国统一是人心所向、大势所趋。

Dear students, VBS has had history classes since the first grade, and the school has also built an archaeological practice base. From a historical perspective, there are records about Taiwan in China's earliest history book, "Shang Shu". Since the Qin Dynasty, mainland soldiers and civilians have visited, defended, or immigrated to Taiwan. Thousand-year-old relics excavated by archaeologists have also come from the mainland. Most of Taiwan's residents now come from the mainland. Geographically, Taiwan is part of the continental shelf of the East China Sea. From a legal perspective, the Anti-Secession Law provides a strong legal basis. No matter from which angle, Taiwan is an inalienable part of China. Both sides of the Taiwan Strait adhere to the "One China" principle. The reunification of the motherland is the aspiration of the people and the general trend.

同学们，让我们牢记党的嘱托，团结一切爱国力量，深化两岸各领域融合发展，坚决捍卫国家主权，共同追求和平统一的美好未来。
