万双网讯为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力，提升学生的中英文综合素养，让孩子站在舞台中央，2024年4月2日下午13时40分，梅沙教育深圳万科双语学校第14期E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。多名师生现场聆听了演讲。活动同时面向全校师生直播。

VBS Net News  In order to improve students ' comprehensive ability in speech and expression, improve students' comprehensive literacy in Chinese and English, and let children stand on the center of the stage, at 13:40 pm on April 2, 2024 , Mesha Education Shenzhen Vanke Bilingual School No. 14 E -Talk event was held in the school theater. Many teachers and students listened to the speech live. The event was broadcast live to all teachers and students in the school.

本次E-talk活动的主题是“我们眼中的传统文化”。来自七至九年级的6名同学用英文进行了精彩的演讲。同学们分享了自己身边的传统文化。评委老师为同学们的精彩表现做了点评。

The theme of this E-talk event is "Traditional Culture in Our Eyes". Six students from grades seven to nine gave wonderful speeches in English. The students shared the traditional culture around them. The judging teacher commented on the wonderful performance of the students.

李雨霏：故宫

Li Yufei : Forbidden City

7C班李雨霏（Verna）同学从紫禁城的历史、美丽的文物和建筑以及紫禁城中最大的寺庙太和殿等方面来介绍故宫，让听众感受到了紫禁城的宏伟与壮丽。雨霏认为紫禁城是中国一座伟大的古建筑，她希望更多的人可以欣赏故宫的美丽和奇迹，爱上故宫，爱上中国文化！Toby老师赞扬雨霏同学的演讲非常精彩，语速适中，富有感情。

Li Yufei ( Verna ) from Class 7C introduced the Forbidden City from the history of the Forbidden City, its beautiful cultural relics and architecture, as well as the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the largest temple in the Forbidden City. The audience felt the grandeur and splendor of the Forbidden City. Yu Fei believes that the Forbidden City is a great ancient building in China. She hopes that more people can appreciate the beauty and wonder of the Forbidden City, fall in love with the Forbidden City, and fall in love with Chinese culture ! Teacher Toby praised Yu Fei for her wonderful speech, moderate speed and full of emotion.

王峙骅：植物染色

Wang Zhihua : Plant Dyeing

8D班王峙骅（Emilia）同学分享了中国传统技术——植物染色。植物染色是一种古老的艺术形式，可以追溯到商代。她介绍了自己去广西桂林进行染色的经历，通过坚持不懈的努力，终于完成了一个作品。她指出植物染色在生活中的广泛运用，并强调中国传统技术的重要性。Ali老师总结了她的精彩演讲，并给予了很高评价。

Wang Zhihua(Emilia) from Class 8D shared traditional Chinese technology - plant dyeing . Plant dyeing is an ancient art form that dates back to the Shang Dynasty. She introduced her experience of going to Guilin, Guangxi for dyeing. Through unremitting efforts , she finally completed a work. She pointed out the widespread use of plant dyeing in daily life and emphasized the importance of traditional Chinese techniques . Teacher Ali summarized her wonderful speech and gave high praise.

汪颢渊：龙舟节的起源

Wang Haoyuan : The Origin of Dragon Boat Festival

7E班汪颢渊（Andy）同学通过古代吴国和越国(长江下游)地区良渚文化遗址群中出土的一件刻有龙纹的玉器，引出划龙舟等传统活动，从而介绍几种不同版本的端午节起源、端午节丰富多彩的活动以及传统美食。Toby老师赞扬其演讲内容十分丰富，大家可以了解到许多中国传统习俗。

Through a piece of jade engraved with dragon patterns unearthed from the Liangzhu cultural sites in the ancient Wu and Yue countries (lower reaches of the Yangtze River), Andy from Class7E introduced traditional activities such as dragon boat racing, thereby introducing several different versions of the origins of the Dragon Boat Festival, the colorful activities and traditional cuisine.Teacher Toby praised his lecture for being very rich in content and allowing everyone to learn about many traditional Chinese customs .

林子恒：我家乡的美味食物

Lin Ziheng : Delicious food from my hometown

8E班林子恒（David）同学介绍了他的家乡海丰，不仅有美丽的风景，更有可口的美食。他重点介绍了印粿、小米这种特色小吃以及他与这些美食的故事。在他的美食分享下，听众仿佛已经置身他的家乡品尝这些美食，同时也能感受到子恒对家乡的热爱。Ali老师非常喜欢子恒的分享，并对他的家乡美食表现出了浓厚的兴趣。

Lin Ziheng ( David ) from Class 8E introduced his hometown of Haifeng , which not only has beautiful scenery , but also delicious food . He focused on the special snacks of Indian cakes and millet and his stories with these delicacies. With his food sharing, the audience felt as if they had been in his hometown to taste these delicacies, and at the same time they could feel Ziheng's love for his hometown . Teacher Ali liked Ziheng’s sharing very much and showed a strong interest in the food of his hometown.

邹语轩：中国之窗

Zou Yuxuan : Window to China

8D班邹语轩（Emily）介绍了古筝的起源、历史及其制作，并谈到了自己学习古筝的心得：“我不仅学习了古筝的各种指法，还学习了古筝的历史和作者的思想情感。从《台风之战》中，我了解到人们与自然灾害做斗争的努力。”Toby老师认为语轩的演讲非常精彩，其坚持不懈学习古筝的精神值得赞扬。

Zou Yuxuan ( Emily ) from Class 8D introduced the origin, history and production of guzheng , and talked about her experience in learning guzheng:“I not only learned various fingering methods of guzheng, but also learned the history of guzheng and the author’s thoughts and emotion. From "Typhoon War", I learned about people 's efforts to fight against natural disasters."Teacher Toby thought Emily's speech was wonderful, and his persistence in learning guzheng is worthy of praise.

姚罗衾：京剧

Yao Luo Qui : Peking Opera

7C班姚罗衾（Ann）同学分享了京剧的起源、京剧的角色、每个角色独特的表演风格及京剧的特色曲目等，指出京剧是承载着中国历史、传统和道德价值观的文化遗产，有助于增强民族自信心。Ali老师认为她的演讲自信大方，让大家获益匪浅。

Yao Luojun ( Ann ) from Class 7C shared the origin of Peking Opera, the roles of Peking Opera , the unique performance style of each character and the characteristic repertoire of Peking Opera , etc. She pointed out that Peking Opera is a cultural heritage that carries Chinese history, tradition and moral values, and helps enhance national self-confidence. Teacher Ali thought that her speech was confident and generous, which benefited everyone a lot .

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次，学生自主报名参与，中文、英文均可，老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲，主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说，善思、善辩、善究。

The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely;to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.

E-talk的舞台是开放的，我们欢迎每一位VBS未来少年来到这里，站在聚光灯下，向世界展示自己的独特魅力；我们鼓励孩子们挑战自我，突破困境；我们相信，每一个孩子都有无限的潜力，只要他们有勇气站上舞台，就有可能成为真正的演讲者。

The stage of E-talk is open. We welcome every future VBS teenager to come here, stand in the spotlight, and show their unique charm to the world; we encourage children to challenge themselves and break through difficulties; we believe that every child has unlimited potential. As long as they have the courage to stand on the stage, they may become real speakers.

让我们一起期待，在E-talk的舞台上，VBS未来少年们将如何用他们的声音，引领我们走进他们的世界，感受他们的热情与活力。

Let us look forward to how the future teenagers of VBS will use their voices to lead us into their world and feel their enthusiasm and vitality on the E-talk stage.
