万双网讯  为提高学生演讲与表达的综合能力，提升学生的中英文综合素养，让孩子站在舞台中央，2024年1月17日上午8时，万科双语学校本学期第九场E-talk活动在学校剧场举行。100余名师生现场聆听了演讲。活动同时面向全校师生直播。

VBS Net News  In order to improve students' comprehensive ability in speech and expression, improve students' comprehensive literacy in Chinese and English, and let children stand at the center of the stage, Vanke Bilingual School's ninth E-talk event this semester was held in the school theater at 8:00 am on January 17, 2024 held. More than 100 teachers and students listened to the speech live. The event was broadcast live to all teachers and students in the school.

本次E-talk活动的主题是科技创新和绿色发展。来自七至八年级的6名同学用英文进行了精彩的演讲。同学们分享了关于科技创新和绿色发展等方面的知识。评委老师为同学们的精彩表现做了点评。

The theme of this E-talk event is technological innovation and green development. Six students from grades 7 to 8 gave wonderful speeches in English.The students shared their knowledge on technological innovation and green development. The teachers commented on the wonderful performance of the students.

揣毅：埃隆·马斯克的故事

Chuai Yi: The Story of Elon Musk

8C班揣毅（Yi ）同学分享了马斯克创立特斯拉的故事。他告诉大家，“有时候我们要推自己一把，不给自己的人生设限。” 评委老师高度赞扬了他的演讲，同时也给出了一些建议。    

Yi, a classmate from Class 8C, shared the story of Musk’s founding of Tesla. He told everyone, "Sometimes we have to push ourselves and not set limits on our lives." The judges highly praised his speech and also gave some suggestions.

李浩翔：游戏真的是有害的吗？

Li Haoxiang: Are games really harmful?

8C班李浩翔（Justin）同学分享了游戏的利弊。他指出，人们总认为游戏是不好的，是有危害的。但其实有一些游戏，比如“我的世界”，就能锻炼我们的想象力，同时具有教育意义。评委老师认为这个话题能够引起孩子们的共鸣，让大家拥有批判性思维。

Li Haoxiang (Justin) from Class 8C shared the pros and cons of the game. He pointed out that people always think that games are bad and harmful. But in fact, there are some games, such as "Minecraft", that can exercise our imagination and have educational significance at the same time. The judges believe that this topic can resonate with children and enable them to think critically.

王仁熙：重复使用你的笔芯

Wang Renxi: Reuse your refills

7F班王仁熙（Bella）分享了日常生活中不起眼的东西——笔芯。她用种种数据告诉大家，笔芯浪费量非常大，呼吁大家要进行笔芯回收活动。评委老师高度赞扬了她的语言组织能力和互动问题的设置。

Wang Renxi (Bella) from Class 7F shared an inconspicuous thing in daily life-pen refills. She used various data to tell everyone that the amount of pen refills wasted was very large, and called on everyone to carry out refill recycling activities. The judging teachers highly praised her language organization skills and interactive problem setting.

李若菁：让我们一起保护地球

Li Ruojing: Let us protect the earth together

7D 班李若菁（Lucy）同学分享了保护地球的故事。她指出了环保的重要性，并从回收垃圾、绿色出行等方面给出了如何保护地球的方法。评委老师赞扬她语言丰富，演讲流畅。

Lucy Li (Lucy) from Class 7D shared her story of protecting the earth. She pointed out the importance of environmental protection and gave methods on how to protect the earth from recycling garbage and green travel.The judges praised her rich language and fluent speech.

李志博：历史上有趣的发明

Li Zhibo: Interesting inventions in history

8E班李志博（Jonathan）同学分享了许多历史上有趣的发明，如地震仪、算盘等等。他的介绍让小观众们眼前一亮，认识了许多新奇的发明。评委老师认为他在演讲时的语音语调非常好，抑扬顿挫，具有感染力。

Li Zhibo (Jonathan) from Class 8E shared many interesting inventions in history, such as seismometers, abacus, etc. His introduction dazzled the young audience and introduced them to many novel inventions. Th teachers thought that his voice and intonation during his speech were very good, cadence and contagious.

濮阳毅：商业捕鱼的优缺点

Puyang Yi: Advantages and Disadvantages of Commercial Fishing

7E 班濮阳毅（Hubert）同学分享了关于商业捕鱼的种种优缺点。他提到商业捕鱼是一把双刃剑。虽然商业捕鱼会给我们带来经济创收，但是如果过度地打捞捕鱼，就会引起生态问题。评委老师点评他的演讲很流畅，并使用了比喻等修辞手法，使观众对主题的理解更加清晰，非常棒。  

Pu Yangyi (Hubert) from Class E shared the advantages and disadvantages of commercial fishing. He mentioned that commercial fishing is a double-edged sword. Although commercial fishing can bring us economic income, excessive fishing can cause ecological problems. The teachers commented that his speech was very fluent and used metaphors and other rhetorical techniques to make the audience understand the topic more clearly, which was great.

万科双语学校E-talk活动每周举行一次，学生自主报名参与，中文、英文均可，老师将相同或相似主题的演讲者安排在同一期演讲，主旨是让学生做到能说、会说、敢说，善思、善辩、善究。

The E-talk activity of Vanke Bilingual School is held once a week. Students can sign up to participate on their own. Both Chinese and English are accepted. The teacher arranges speakers with the same or similar topics to give speeches in the same period. The purpose is to enable students to be able to speak freely, confidently and bravely;to be good at thinking, debating, and doing research.

E-talk的舞台是开放的，我们欢迎每一位VBS未来少年来到这里，站在聚光灯下，向世界展示自己的独特魅力；我们鼓励孩子们挑战自我，突破困境；我们相信，每一个孩子都有无限的潜力，只要他们有勇气站上舞台，就有可能成为真正的演讲者。

The stage of E-talk is open. We welcome every future VBS teenager to come here, stand in the spotlight, and show their unique charm to the world; we encourage children to challenge themselves and break through difficulties; we believe that every child has unlimited potential. As long as they have the courage to stand on the stage, they may become real speakers.

让我们一起期待，在E-talk的舞台上，VBS未来少年们将如何用他们的声音，引领我们走进他们的世界，感受他们的热情与活力。

Let us look forward to how the future teenagers of VBS will use their voices to lead us into their world and feel their enthusiasm and vitality on the E-talk stage.
