万双网讯  2023年 11月27 日，万科双语学校2023-2024第一学期第十四周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由六年级O班和V班承担。6O 班是一个奋进的班级，6V班是一个团结的班级。

VBS Net News  On November 27, 2023, the flag-raising ceremony of the fourteenth week of the first semester of 2023-2024 at Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school playground. 升旗仪式由范雨涵和王昶涵同学主持。肖羽涵和王奕晗同学做了国旗下讲话。他们演讲的题目是“践行社会主义核心价值观，争做文明学生”。派驻第一书记杨艺娟做了时事热点宣讲。

The flag-raising ceremony was hosted by students Fan Yuhan and Wang Changhan. Xiao Yuhan and Wang Yihan gave speeches under the national flag. The title of their speech was "Practising the core socialism values and strive to be civilized students." First secretary Yang Yijuan shared hot topics on current affairs hot topics.

大家好! 我们演讲的题目是“践行社会主义核心价值观，争做文明学生”。

Good morning. It’s a great honor for us to make a speech today. The topic of our speech is Practising Core Socialist Values and Striving to be civilized Students.

首先，让我们一起来背诵二十四字的社会主义核心价值观吧！

Let’s recite the Core Socialist Values together.

社会主义核心价值观是中华民族的精神纽带，是推动中国发展的重要动力。那么，作为中小学生，我们应该如何践行社会主义核心价值观呢？

So as a student, what should we do to practise Core Socialist Values？

首先，我们要有爱国情怀。我们要热爱祖国，关心国家大事，以祖国为荣，以爱国为荣。我们要时刻铭记历史，珍惜现在，为实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦而努力奋斗。

First of all, we should love our country. We must love the motherland, care about national affairs, be proud of the motherland, and be proud of our patriotism. We must always remember history, cherish the present, and work hard to dedicate to the country.

其次，我们要勤奋学习。学习是我们当下的主要任务，也是践行社会主义核心价值观的重要途径。我们要养成良好的学习习惯，勤奋学习，不断提高自己的知识水平和综合素质。我们要以优秀的成绩回报父母、回报老师、报效祖国。

Second, we need to study diligently. Learning is our main task at the moment and an important way to practise our core values. We must develop good study habits, study diligently, and constantly improve our knowledge level and overall quality. We should repay our parents, teachers, and the motherland with excellent results.

再次，我们要注重道德修养。诚信、友善是核心价值观中的重要内容。我们要诚实守信，言行一致。我们要友善待人，尊重他人。

Third, we should pay attention to moral cultivation. Integrity and friendliness are important elements of the core values. We must be honest and trustworthy, match our words with our deeds. We need to be kind, respectful, and helpful.

最后，我们要从点滴小事做起。践行社会主义核心价值观不是一句空话，而是一件件实实在在的小事，比如帮助同学、打扫卫生、遵守纪律等等。这些看似小事，但却能体现出一个人的品质和修养。

Finally, let's start with the small things. Practicing core values is not an empty word. Such as helping classmates, cleaning classroom actively, being disciplined, etc. These seem to be small things, but they can reflect a person's quality and cultivation.

在台湾问题上，中国领导人告诉拜登，中国终将统一，也必然统一。

On the Taiwan issue, Chinese leaders told Biden that China will eventually be reunified.

中美元首会晤成果不少，包括人工智能、禁毒合作、两军高层沟通、增加航班、应对气候变化方面，以及扩大教育、留学生、青年、文化、体育和工商界交流等等。

The meeting between the heads of state of China and the United States produced many achievements, including artificial intelligence, anti-drug cooperation, high-level communication between the two militaries, increasing flights, addressing climate change, and expanding exchanges in education, international students, youth, culture, sports, and business circles, etc.

次日，习近平在亚太经合组织（APEC）峰会中强调开放包容、共同发展、求同存异的发展理念，主张坚持对话而不对抗、结伴而不结盟的国与国交往之道。
