万双网讯   2023年11月6日，万科双语学校2023-2024第一学期第十一周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由1C班、1E班承担。1C班、1E班都是团结向上的班级。

VBS Net News  On November 6, 2023, the flag-raising ceremony for the eleventh week of the first semester of 2023-2024 at Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school playground. This week's flag-raising ceremony was undertaken by Class 1C and Class 1E. Class 1C and Class 1E are both united and progressive classes.

升旗仪式由1C班的张易易、唐艺林主持。1E班黄白羽、康熙琳同学做了国旗下讲话。他们演讲的题目是“消防安全，重于泰山”。派驻第一书记杨艺娟做了时事热点宣讲。

The flag-raising ceremony was hosted by Zhang Yiyi and Tang Yilin from Class 1C. Huang Baiyu and Kang Xilin from Class 1E gave speeches under the national flag. The title of their speech was "Fire Safety is the Most Important Thing". Yang Yijuan, the first secretary gave a lecture on current affairs.

11月9日是全国消防日。因为11月9日的月日数恰好与火警电话号码119相同，而且这一天前后是火灾多发季，为增强全民的消防安全意识，公安部将每年的11月9日定为全国的“消防日”。

November 9th is our National Fire Day. Because the November 9 is same with the fire alarm phone number —119.In order to raise the public awareness of fire safety, the Ministry of Public Security set the November 9th as the “National Fire Day”.

每一次火灾事故，都是人们消防安全意识淡薄造成的恶果。那么我们该如何预防火灾呢？

首届全球人工智能安全峰会11月1日至2日在英国布莱奇利园举行。多国政府、企业和专家参会。与会者希望建立人工智能安全发展的国际共识。中国科技部副部长吴朝晖应邀出席。

The First Global Artificial Intelligence Security Summit was held at Bletchley Park in the UK from November 1st to 2nd. Governments, enterprises and experts from many countries attended the meeting. Participants hope to establish an international consensus on the safe development of artificial intelligence. Wu Zhaohui, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, was invited to attend.

吴朝晖强调，人工智能技术迅猛发展，带来巨大技术红利的同时，人工智能技术的不确定性、不透明性等特点给人文科学、安全和隐私方面带来风险和挑战。

U.  S. President Biden signed an executive order at the White House on October 30, aiming to establish safety standards for the development of AI and address the risks of new technologies.

马斯克说，AI就像一个“魔法精灵”，但这种童话故事很少有好的结局。他强调安装物理开关的重要性。他说，如果有一天它们的软件更新了，不再那么友好怎么办？

Musk said that AI is like a "magic genie," but such fairy tales rarely end well. He emphasized the importance of installing physical switches. He said, what if one day their software is updated and no longer so friendly?

General Secretary Xi Jinping announced in his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Summit Forum that China will propose the "Global Artificial Intelligence Governance Initiative" at this forum and is willing to strengthen exchanges and dialogue with other countries to jointly promote global artificial intelligence develops healthily, orderly and safely.
