万双网讯  “腹有诗书气自华，加入咱们书画社吧！”“快乐美食社行动——世界这么大，吃都吃不完”……9月13日下午，为培养学生卓越的领导力，充分发展学生的兴趣和特长，促进学生多元化成长，万科双语学校“百团大战”社团招募会在篮球馆举办。全校130多个社团现场进行招募，1000多名学生全员参与。

VBS Net News: On the afternoon of September 13, in order to cultivate students' excellent leadership, fully develop students' interests and specialties, and promote students' diversified growth, Vanke Bilingual School's club recruitment activity was held in the basketball hall. More than 130 clubs are recruiting, and more than 1,000 students are participating.

招募会现场热闹非凡，分为文学艺术、自然生活、学术科技等多个区域，小社长们各出高招，折纸社、桌游社、动漫社、摄影社、篮球社、绘画社、音乐社、乐高社、编程社、围棋社、足球社等五花八门，花式海报看得人眼花缭乱。有的现场展示美食、绘画，有的进行现场游说，有的高声喊：“快来参加我们的社团吧……”很快，每位孩子都找到了自己心仪的组织。

The recruitment fair was lively and divided into areas such as literature and art, natural life, and academic science and technology. The club leaders  from clubs like Origami Club, Board Game Club, Animation Club, Photography Club, Basketball Club, Programming Club, etc. pulled off all their strengths to gain new members.Some showed food and paintings on site, some conducted on-site lobbying, and some shouted loudly: "Come and join our club..." Soon, every child found his or her favorite club.

为了环保，同学们用废弃的纸盒、纸张等制作海报，用IPAD进行招募登记，积极建设零废弃学校。

In order to protect the environment, students used discarded cartons and papers to make posters, used IPAD to register for recruitment, and actively built a zero-waste school.

VBS学生社团成员由有共同兴趣和爱好的在校就读学生自愿组成，由两位同学发起，招募，一个社团的成员一般不少于8人。学生社团活动内容分为领导素养、科学素养、人文素养、艺术素养、体育素质、专题探究、生活技能、服务实践等八大类别。每周三下午开展活动。

VBS student clubs were formed voluntarily by students who shared common interests and hobbies. Each club was initiated by two students and had to register no fewer than six members. club activities were classified into eight categories - leadership, scientific, humanities, artistic, sports, project research, life skills and service learning. they would start every Wednesday afternoon.

学校成立由校长和发展中心领导的学生社团工作指导小组，负责规划社团活动的宗旨与目标，保障学生社团活动健康、有序和持续的发展。同时由学生社团理事会具体负责学生社团的管理工作。

VBS established a supervising group formed by the Principal and leaders from Development Centre, which was in charge of planning student clubs' mission and guiding statements as well as ensuring their sustainable development. The board for student clubs was assigned to be responsible for the management of all student clubs.

在本次社团招募活动中，VBS未来少年卓越的领导力、交流与合作能力、创造力在活动中彰显。他们将在社团活动中进行自主管理、自主发展，交流思想，切磋技艺，互相启迪，增进友谊，涵养乐观、自信、包容的品格，并通过发展过程获得闯荡未来世界的激情和力量。

In this club recruitment activity, the outstanding leadership, communication and cooperation skills, and creativity of VBS future teenagers were demonstrated in the activity. They will manage and develop independently in club activities, exchange ideas, compare skills, inspire each other, enhance friendship, cultivate optimistic, confident, and tolerant characters, and gain the passion and strength to enter the future world through the development process.
