万双网讯  为让学生成为学习的主人,学会解决实际生活中的真实问题,掌握关键知识和核心原理,完成头脑中知识的建构,万科双语学校持续开展PBL+STEM+多学科融合学习。本学期,全校133个PBL研究项目各具特色,丰富多彩。7月7日,万科双语学校2022-2023学年度PBL展示会在剧场举办。经过班级展示、年级组推荐,11个优秀小组在剧场进行了精彩展示,同时面向全校师生家长直播。


VBS Net News  In order to enable students to become the masters of learning, learn to solve real problems in real life, master key knowledge and core principles, and complete the construction of knowledge in their minds, Vanke Bilingual School continues to carry out PBL+STEM+multidisciplinary integrated learning. This semester, the 133 PBL research projects in the school have their own characteristics and are rich and colorful. On July 7, Vanke Bilingual School's 2022-2023 school year PBL exhibition was held in the theater. After the class exhibition and grade group recommendation, 11 excellent groups made wonderful presentations, and broadcast live to teachers, students and parents of the whole school.

Project: The Past and Present of Paper (Class 1C)

该项目小组对纸的发明、纸在现代的用途、纸的回收利用及未来纸的形态展开了细致的研究。他们亲手运用蔡伦造纸的步骤,体验了造纸的过程,还制作出了生活中的纸博物馆。为了响应校园零废弃活动,孩子们进行了废纸改造活动。最后组员还提出将来要研究出更环保的原材料制作更环保的纸张。他们会为节约资源、减少对环境的污染贡献自己的力量。

The project team conducted a detailed study on the invention of paper, its modern use, its recycling and the shape of paper in the future. They personally used Cai Lun's paper-making steps, experienced the paper-making process, and created a paper museum in their daily life. In response to the school's zero-waste campaign, the children carried out waste paper transformation activities. Finally, the team members also proposed to research more environmentally friendly raw materials to make more environmentally friendly paper in the future. They will contribute to saving resources and reducing pollution to the environment.

The project integrates multidisciplinary thinking. Through learning, students learned about the campus ecosystem, the types and quantities of plants on campus, exercised the ability to observe, remember, classify and describe plants, and cultivated teamwork spirit and communication skills. During the event, they produced different types of illustrated books, including text descriptions, photo albums and artworks.

在该项目研究中,2E班的孩子们学习了培育种子和种植的相关知识,种植并精心护理所种的植物,布置了班级植物角,撰写了每周植物观察日记,最终还整合自己在研究过程中的收获制作完成了一本《种子的奇妙之旅》绘本,见证了植物生长的变化,探秘植物的神奇和美好。

In the project research, the children in class 2E learned the relevant knowledge of seed cultivation and planting, planted and carefully cared for the plants they planted, arranged the plant corner of the class, and wrote a weekly plant observation diary. "Where did chocolate come from? How did chocolate evolve to what it is today? How does eating chocolate affect the body? How to choose a healthier chocolate?  …"With these questions in mind, students in class 2O learned about its history, its nutritional value, its types and prices in the world of chocolate, and drew chocolate cultural shirts with imaginative elements.

2023年年初,电影《流浪地球2》热映,3C班的同学们对地球知识产生了浓厚的兴趣。在PBL课上,孩子们自主学习探究,在一次次分享合作中完成了地球剖面手绘图、地球地貌思维导图、地球地貌立体模型等作品,揭开了地球的神秘面纱。

At the beginning of 2023, the movie "The Wandering Earth 2" hits theaters, and the students in class 3C have a strong interest in earth knowledge. “假设世界上已灭绝的动物可以复活,如何创建重生动物的家园呢?”3F班的同学们经过探究,认识了灭绝动物,了解了它们灭绝的原因,亲手为灭绝动物设计重生后的家园。为了呼吁人们保护动物,同学们还制作了绘有灭绝动物形象的冰箱贴、书签、明信片、环保袋等文创产品。情景剧《最后一只沙猫》的精彩展演更是引起了现场观众的共鸣,传递了人与自然和谐相处的美好愿望。

"Assuming that the extinct animals in the world can be resurrected, how to create a home for the reborn animals?" The students in class 3F got to know the extinct animals and the reasons for their extinction through exploration, and designed the reborn homes for the extinct animals by themselves. In order to appeal to people to protect animals, the students also produced cultural and creative products such as refrigerator magnets, bookmarks, postcards, and environmental protection bags painted with images of extinct animals. The wonderful performance of the sitcom "The Last Sand Cat" resonated with the audience and conveyed the good wishes of man and nature living in harmony.

基于对小动物的喜爱和学校小鸟众多的现状,四年级学生们确立了“给小鸟安个家”项目。同学们用木棍搭建和3D打印的方式完成了不同类型的鸟窝制作,绘制了爱护小鸟的宣传海报,拟定了爱护小鸟倡议书。

基于对中国神话故事的研究,5D班同学开启了“创设5D班的神话角色”PBL项目研究。小组同学在研究过程中本着“方法总比困难多”的原则克服了各种各样的困难,最终完成了一份项目研究报告、一份调查总结、一套神话角色的形象创意设计和一个cosplay小剧本

Based on the research on Chinese mythology, the students of Class 5D started the PBL project research of "Creating Mythical Characters of Class 5D". During the research process, the students in the group overcame all kinds of difficulties based on the principle of "there are always more methods than difficulties", and finally completed a project research report, a survey summary, a set of image creative design of mythical characters and a cosplay small script.

该小组用传统工艺成功制作出80多块精美的手工植物肥皂,并进行爱心义卖,用义卖款(280多元人民币)购买文具用品送给广东省河源市东源县骆湖镇中心小学的孩子们。虽然购买材料的成本超过了义卖善款,但全体成员表示:献爱心的事可以不计成本。

The group successfully produced more than 80 pieces of exquisite handmade vegetable soap with traditional crafts, and conducted a charity sale, using the charity sale money (more than 280 yuan) to buy stationery and send it to the children of the Central Primary School in Luohu Town, Dongyuan County, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province . Although the cost of purchasing materials exceeded the donations from the charity sale, all members expressed that the cost of offering love can be ignored.

该项目设计的双体飞机预计载重达到5公斤,推重比过1,由4个电机推动,预计时速达到60公里每小时,预计飞行高度为100米以上。目前试验机已经完成设计并安装完毕,也成功进行了试飞

The catamaran designed for this project is expected to have a load of 5 kg, a thrust-to-weight ratio of over 1, and is propelled by 4 motors. It is expected to reach a speed of 60 kilometers per hour and a flight altitude of more than 100 meters. 该小组经历了五个研究阶段:查阅资料、设计问卷进行访谈、招募志愿者进行试验、收集数据、得出结论找到了“幸福家庭”的定义和共同点,提出了有效提高家庭幸福感的建议。在研究中,学生学会了文献检索、问卷设计、数据分析等多种研究技能,也锻炼了团队协作的能力。

The team went through five research stages: consulting materials, designing questionnaires for interviews, recruiting volunteers for experiments, collecting data, drawing conclusions, finding the definition and commonalities of "happy families", and proposing effective ways to improve family happiness suggestion. During the research, students learned a variety of research skills such as literature retrieval, questionnaire design, and data analysis, and also exercised their teamwork skills.

Vanke Bilingual School includes PBL in the curriculum, allowing students to experience the most authentic learning process. Driven by strong interests, students combine theory with practice and integrate knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Psychology, Architecture, Art, Chinese, Mathematics and other subjects to explore the world independently. During the course of the project, the instructor gave timely guidance to the students, mobilized the students' potential and creativity, and harvested rich results with life value.
