【STEM】童话中的房子自己“造”——VBS开展STEM+PBL跨学科项目式学习

万双网讯  童话是童年的一种美好记忆,作为即将毕业的六年级孩子,童话给他们留下了什么印象深刻的触动呢?在六年级的最后阶段,万科双语学校于2023年5月开始,开展了为期8周的“童话中的房子”STEM+PBL跨学科项目式学习。该项目融合了人工智能、艺术设计、语文三个学科。


Fairy tales are a beautiful memory in childhood. As a sixth grader who is about to graduate, what impression did fairy tales leave on them?In the final stage of the sixth grade, Vanke Bilingual School will start in May 2023 and carry out an 8-week "House in a Fairy Tale" STEM+PBL interdisciplinary project-based learning. The project combines the three subjects of Artificial Intelligence, Art Design, and Chinese.

 

语文课:构思童话中的房子

Chinese Lesson: Conceiving a House in a Fairy Tale


项目伊始,同学们根据兴趣组队,推选出自己的组长,写好小组公约,开始小组合作学习,并进行自我管理。接下来,同学们在语文课上发挥想象,构思童话中的房子,并用文字将它描述出来、写成小作文。有的同学设计了篮球屋,有的设计了树屋,还有的设计了地下地上多样的结构。学生在天马行空的想象中,锻炼表达和写作能力。


At the beginning of the project, students formed teams according to their interests, elected their own team leaders, wrote a group agreement, started group cooperative learning, and carried out self-management.Next, the students used their imagination in the Chinese class to conceive the house in the fairy tale, describe it in words, and write it into a small composition.Some students designed basketball houses, some designed tree houses, and some designed various structures underground and above ground. Students exercise their expression and writing skills in their wild imagination.

艺术课:描绘心中的房中

Art Lesson: Depicting the Room in My Heart


艺术课上,同学们将房子的外观和内部结构详细地画出来,并在艺术老师的专业的指导下,进行了外观、结构、住户需求等的修改,使之更加完美,符合审美需求。


In the Art class, the students drew the exterior and interior structure of the house in detail, and under the professional guidance of the art teacher, they modified the exterior, structure, and residents' needs to make it more perfect and meet the aesthetic needs.

人工智能课:3D打印

在人工智能课上,同学们在老师指导下进行3D设计,并进行打印。项目墙上清晰地展示了各小组的进度安排。


In the Artificial Intelligence class, the students made 3D designs and printed them under the guidance of the teacher. The progress of each group is clearly displayed on the project wall.

数智平台:共享+互评

Digital Intelligence Platform: Sharing + Mutual Evaluation


为了打造“差异性、回应式的因材施教的课堂”,该项目使用数智平台来授课。在该平台,老师提前将3D设计的微课视频上传,满足不同水平学生的进度需求。学生也可以将自己的作品上传到平台,实现了作品共享,互评、互学,极大地提高了合作效率和学习热情。


In order to create a "differentiated and responsive class that teaches students in accordance with their aptitude", the project uses a digital intelligence platform to teach. On this platform, teachers upload 3D-designed micro-lecture videos in advance to meet the progress needs of students of different levels.Students can also upload their works to the platform, realizing work sharing, mutual evaluation and mutual learning, which greatly improves the cooperation efficiency and learning enthusiasm.

展示+反思+收获

Show + Reflect + Harvest


项目式学习最后环节——展示。各小组绘声绘色地介绍着精心设计的房子,讲述着美丽的童话故事。其他小组的成员从美观、合作、表达、声音四个维度进行点评,有趣的思想在此起彼伏的讨论声中相互碰撞。最后,同学们对整个项目进行了反思,并总结了自己的收获。


The final link of project-based learning - presentation. Each group vividly introduced the well-designed houses and told beautiful fairy tales. Members of other groups commented from the four dimensions of aesthetics, cooperation, expression, and voice, and interesting ideas collided with each other in the continuous discussions. Finally, the students reflected on the whole project and summarized their own gains.
