万双网讯  2023年4月10日，万科双语学校2022-2023第二学期第十周升旗仪式在学校操场举行。本周升旗仪式由2C班和2D班承担。2C班、2D班是积极上进、团结温润的集体。

VBS Net News   On April 10, 2023, the flag-raising ceremony for the tenth week of the second semester of 2022-2023 Vanke Bilingual School was held in the school playground. The flag-raising ceremony this week was undertaken by Class 2C and Class 2D. Class 2C and Class 2D are aggressive, united and gentle groups.

升旗仪式由2C班的王梓畅和2D班的赵倓联合主持。2C班的牛竞可同学和胡照晴老师做了国旗下演讲。他们演讲的题目是“多元世界 敬畏生命”。第一书记杨艺娟做了时事热点分享。

The flag-raising ceremony was co-chaired by Wang Zichang from Class 2C and Zhao Tan from Class 2D. Niu Jingke and teacher Hu Zhaoqing from Class 2C gave speeches under the national flag. The title of their speech was "Colorful World and the Respect for Life!". The first secretary Yang Yijuan shared current affairs.

大家早上好！

Good morning!

我们万科双语学校的班名是由C、D、E、F、G、I、O、V、X、Y字母命名。其中D代表着多元，指我们面向未来，基于多元世界。

The class names of our school are designed by C, D, E, F, G, I, O, V, X and Y. Among them, D represents diversity and It means that we face to the future and based on a diverse world.

万双由你我他组成，也由不同肤色、不同种族、不同民族的老师和同学组成，但我们又都不是单一的，像我们的星空墙一样，所有的人构成了璀璨的星空。

VBS is composed of teachers and classmates of different skin colors, races, and nationalities. Like our starry wall, all the people make up the bright starry sky.

多元的世界，是和而不同的世界。一个人眼中的惊世骇俗，可能是另一个人眼中的天经地义。当我们学会尊重与自己不一样的他人时，我们就理解了什么叫做多元。

A diverse world is a world of harmony and difference. When we learn to respect others who are different from ourselves, we understand what diversity is.

呈现多元世界是为了尊重生命。比如，在班级中，每一位同学都可以在小组合作时，表达自己的学习观点；每一位同学都可以在班会中提出自己的合理建议。当别人的想法与自己不同时，多一把尺子去衡量他人，就丰富了生命的广度。

To present diversity is to respect life. In the class, students can talk about their own ideas in groups; we can give suggestions in the class meeting. When other ideas are different from your own, you can always try to understand others and think more.

呈现多元世界是为了敬畏生命。比如：小到一花一草，大到无可预知的宇宙。他们共同建立的生态圈，焕发着生命的气息。学会敬畏生命，才有这生机勃勃。

To present diversity is to fear life. Flower, grass, as large as the universe. Everything makes up this wonderful earth. Learn to revere life, only then can you have this vitality.

尊重生命、敬畏生命是为了珍惜生命。时刻保持积极、乐观的良好心态，不要因为一时的困难、挫折就丧失面对生活的信心，珍惜生活在这个世界的每一天。

We should cherish life. We need to keep a positive attitude in our daily life. We cannot lose confidence when we face difficulties.

愿每一个人在万双彼此尊重、彼此相融，让每一种生命都能在这里找到发展的土壤。

我是第一书记杨艺娟老师，今天的时事主题是:马英九大陆之行，期待两岸关系春暖花开。

I am Teacher Yang Yijuan, the first secretary, and the topic of today's current affairs is: Ma Ying-jeou's trip to the mainland, looking forward to the spring blossoming of cross-strait relations.

清明节缅怀先人、慎终追远乃中国人之传统。2023年的清明前后，正是大陆春暖花开的好时节。尽管面临岛内多方的阻力，中国国民党前主席马英九仍然率团赴大陆。如期开启并顺利完成其等待了36年的首次大陆之行。十多天的时间里，马英九先后到访了南京、武汉、长沙、重庆、上海等多个城市。

Tomb-sweeping Day is a Chinese tradition of remembering the ancestors and chasing after the end. Around the Qingming Festival in 2023, it is a good time for the mainland to bloom in spring. Despite the resistance from various parties on the island, Ma Ying-jeou, the former chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, still led a delegation to the mainland. It started as scheduled and successfully completed its first trip to the mainland after waiting for 36 years. During more than ten days, Ma Ying-jeou visited Nanjing, Wuhan, Changsha, Chongqing, Shanghai and other cities.

马英九到湖南祭祖，并与当地进行文化交流。他把两岸学者合编的《中华语文大辞典》(该辞典收录了两岸常用词句对照表)送给湖南大学作为伴手礼。这本厚重的辞典，不仅完整保存了中华文化的美丽优雅词句，也可用来修补两岸因长久分离所出现的词句差异。此举意义重大。比如大陆说的“地铁”，在台湾是说“捷运”。因此，要磨合两岸的词句差异，为两岸终极统一做好准备，实在有必要出版常用词句对照表来方便民众。

Ma Ying-jeou went to Hunan to worship his ancestors and had cultural exchanges with the local people. As a souvenir, he presented the "Chinese Dictionary of Chinese Language" (which contains a comparison table of commonly used words and sentences between the two sides of the strait) jointly compiled by scholars from both sides of the strait. This heavy dictionary not only fully preserves the beautiful and elegant expressions of Chinese culture, but can also be used to repair the differences in expressions that have arisen due to the long-term separation between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. The move is significant. For example, "subway" in mainland China is "MRT" in Taiwan. Therefore, in order to adjust the differences in expressions between the two sides of the strait and prepare for the ultimate reunification of the two sides, it is really necessary to publish a comparison table of commonly used expressions for the convenience of the public.

马英九此行共安排三次两岸学子交流，分别在武汉大学、湖南大学和复旦大学。他表示，两岸都应更加努力推动青年交流，两岸青年友谊愈深厚，两岸之间冲突发生的机率就愈低。

Ma Ying-jeou arranged three cross-strait student exchanges during this trip, respectively at Wuhan University, Hunan University and Fudan University. He said that both sides of the strait should work harder to promote youth exchanges. The stronger the friendship between the youth on both sides of the strait, the lower the chance of conflict between the two sides.

党的二十大报告指出，坚持贯彻新时代党解决台湾问题的总体方略，坚定不移推进祖国统一大业。我们始终尊重、关爱、造福台湾同胞，继续致力于促进两岸经济文化交流合作，推动两岸共同弘扬中华文化，促进两岸同胞心灵契合。国家统一、民族复兴的历史车轮滚滚向前，祖国完全统一一定要实现，也一定能够实现。

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that we must persist in implementing the Party’s overall strategy for resolving the Taiwan issue in the new era, and unswervingly promote the great cause of the reunification of the motherland. We have always respected, cared for, and benefited Taiwan compatriots, and continue to be committed to promoting cross-strait economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation, promoting the common promotion of Chinese culture on both sides of the strait, and promoting the spiritual harmony of compatriots on both sides of the strait. The historical wheel of national reunification and national rejuvenation is rolling forward, and the complete reunification of the motherland must be achieved, and it will definitely be achieved.

General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that the new era is an era of great development for the Chinese nation and an era for compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
